Service - 5* Immediately upon entering and approaching the bar, I was greeted with a friendly acknowledgement and asked what I was looking for. I had an idea but was curious to see their menu. After placing an order, the drinks came out quite quick as they have a good balance of bartenders, I believe three were behind the counter so running drinks to tables and getting them seemed to flow well. Overall, the bartenders are attentive and the wait time for a drink isn't terrible at all. Cocktails - 4* The cocktails themselves are very typical classics. Their spirit selection is robust and definitely worth a look if you're seeking a clean, straight spirit to sip. All solid choices and there's a range for what taste profile you're wanting to have. As for execution and delivery, I didn't find the cocktails to be amazing by any means, but for the pricing, we were quite happy. Pricing - 5* I think with where prices have trended this place is keeping it consumer friendly and delivering. Overall - 4.5* I'd come back, I found the cocktails selection, spirit options, ambiance and patio seating options, and service to all land. But more importantly they serve excellent cocktails! They have over 100 different cocktails and from what I could judge from the couple that I had, they must all be excellent. I started out with a caipirinha which just how I like it - not too sweet. My next drink was a pisco sour. It too was excellent and both were super-refreshing! But the kicker for me was that they have cigar smoking section. Since it's not a cigar lounge, they have a tiny cabinet humidor, but their policy is that as long as you drink you can smoke your own cigars. I came prepared with my own cigars and that made the experience that much more enjoyable. Next time I'm in town, this will definitely be a stop! Finally, they have a sister lounge that is a speakeasy that doesn't even have a name. We went to the speakeasy after dinner and the drinks there were also excellent. If you go to West End, ask them about the speakeasy!

During the drag show the performers were touching all over patrons who clearly did NOT consent to the sexual attention, some even left after being touched by them. My partner, who is autistic, went to give a performer a tip and she shoved their face into her chest. I had to calm them down, hoping it was a one off, but then the same person did it to them again the next time they were performing. It only stopped because they stood behind me for the rest of the show. We also watched as a partner in another couple got publicly ridiculed for not being okay with the physical attention. Her partner got groped in front of the whole crowd and the performer pulled her out to the center to argue about it. This place is disgusting and we will never be back.

Shortly after checking into our first room, we began hearing repeated loud thuds from the room above us. It sounded as though someone was repeatedly dropping a heavy object or riding a skateboard across the floor. The noise continued until around 11:00 p.m. and started again around 6:00 a.m., making it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep. I called the front desk to ask if our room was located beneath the gym and requested a room change. The staff accommodated our request and moved us to another floor. Unfortunately, as soon as we opened the door to the second room, we were met with a strong musty, moldy odor. Upon closer inspection, we noticed what appeared to be mold growth around the air vent located directly above the bed. When I called the front desk, the clerk immediately asked if the room smelled "humid," which surprised me because it suggested they were already aware of the issue. Since we were staying for four nights, I asked if another room was available. Thankfully, the staff was eventually able to relocate us again. One additional inconvenience was the lack of places to hang wet towels or swimsuits to dry. As a result, nothing dried properly, and we had to request fresh towels each day. While I appreciate that the staff ultimately worked to address our concerns by moving us to different rooms, the overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the hotel's excellent reputation and the many positive recommendations we had received. The reception had set up a nice buffet, and 200 drink tokens had been set aside for guests, although by the time I got there they had been used up. My girlfriend and I got a gin & tonic, and a vodka tonic, for about 11$ each, with both the gin, vodka, and tonics being brewed in house. They were very tasty, although maybe not 11$-tasty. Overall it was a lovely location for a wedding reception, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the drinks were good if just a tad pricey.

The distillery also does tours during the day, but I guarantee you the bartenders here can help you find a drink that you will like and they will also walk you through mock tails if you are alcohol free. Endless amounts of seating are available for large groups, small groups. This is so perfect for a birthday party graduation date night a fun thing to do during the day if you're going to take a tour. I was here for a Class of 1980 reunion reception, so maybe you could say that with a room of folks in their mid to upper 60s, this place was hopping? This was primarily a drink-only event, and I thought that the service was very good considering the "demands" of our crowd. There wasn't much on the inside TVs to watch, so we did do a good job actually talking to each other and staying off our screens. The poblano cream corn might be one of the best sides we've ever had. The key lime pie with the almond graham cracker crust was the perfect way to end it. And the Mash Madness whiskey competition is such a cool touch -- blind tasting between A and B like March Madness for bourbon. Makes it even more fun.
