We ordered a drink called the Pear Necessities along with another drink called Yes You Cran. The drinks were nothing short of amazing & incredibly refreshing. Our server, Gabrielle G also was fantastic. She gave great insight as to the items on the menu along with the drink, as well as, desserts. We ordered the pan fried cod along with the fried chicken & chicken sandwiches respectively. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate strawberry ice cream with fresh strawberries on top. Last but not least, the ambiance was also just right. Our table was just off the main bar but adequate enough to carry on a nice conversation as well as take in the surrounding area visible through the large windows. From the appetizers to the main courses to the cocktails- Red Sun delivers. On our most recent outing I had the Pig and Swig pizza- fire roasted with pork sausage, broccoli, red onions, red pepper and mozzarella this was absolutely delicious! We shared the fire roasted wings too which were amazing! I had a cocktail- which sadly I cannot remember the name of but I do know that it has my favorite gin- Empress. Red Sun is one of the very few restaurants in Oswego to carry this delightful brand- and it makes me super happy! Laurie the owner, has been in business for quite a while in Oswego and also owns the delightful Port City Cafe right next door as well as the new and exciting Lorbird in Fulton- another amazing experience. That said- the Google reviews are stellar and that's amazing in any town. So, my husband and I are Ramen fans and it's even hard to find a great spot in our hometown of Tampa and that's a big city. So we were excited to give The Fuse a try! Wow! We were certainly glad we did. We each ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen with pork. My husband opted for the spicy version and 2 orders of edamame! You wouldn't think you could mess up edamame - but restaurants do. Not here though. The Ramen was DELICIOUS. Perfectly seasoned broth, delectable pork, perfectly cooked noodles and bamboo shoots- both dishes really hit the spot! The staff are friendly and preparation was relatively quick! You could tell this place was popular by the "revolving door" of take out patrons and DoorDash drivers as well as the folks dining in! Tonight was a pleasant surprise and we can't wait to return and try the sushi offerings! The Fuse is a must visit if Ramen and sushi are your speed.
