Started our Valentine's day at Winn Winn for the first time. It was extremely busy and parking was quite scarce. We had to park a bit down a side street and walk over to the shop. The inside and outside was filled with customers, some waiting for their order and some waiting to place their order. I had one mission: the cookie milk latte. I saw it online and knew I needed to try it. Housemade sugar cookies steeped in milk and strained, then used in a delicious latte? Sign me up. It took a while for our turn to order, but there was a small sign at the register stating no hot drinks could be made, which was a bummer for my husband because he's a hot drink fanatic. He hastily ordered an ube latte, something I definitely would have ordered if I wasn't getting the cookie milk latte. The shop itself was quite cute, but they aren't kidding about it being a "to go" cafe. There were a few seating options, but we didn't want to take up too much space. They warned us that the wait would be around 30 minutes for our drinks, and we were okay with that- we had already come all this way to try it. I'm not kidding you when I say I downed my cookie milk latte in like 5 minutes. It was beyond delicious. My husband's ube latte wasn't as great. It wasn't super sweet and didn't really have much ube flavor. Overall, I really enjoyed my drink and hope they have more fun specialties like this one! read more

This was my first time at Winn Winn cafe and I loved everything I ordered! The staff were also so kind and patient since it was my first time and offered recommendations. I ordered an iced vanilla bean latte (10/10) and the egg sandwich on sourdough (12/10). I only waited 5-10 mins for my order and the egg sandwich may be my favorite in the city. I need to look at the menu closer and maybe order it with hot sauce or some type of sauce because that would make it over the top amazing. Go to Winn Winn seriously you will not regret it. The latte I had was a seasonal special and it was so good and pretty. The purple ube color was so cute and it was perfectly sweet. I have been reviewing coffee places around the US but have been mostly focused on the Columbus scene for a while now. I was driving by and saw a small line out the door of an inviting outdoor indoor seating area. the interior was bright and inviting. I got my usual Cortado and was happy with it. The 4 stars comes because I think they may have cooked it at too high a temp/pressure as it was not drinkable right away. Thankfully the flavor and milk held well in a slightly over cooked espresso. The bakery looked amazing and I will be back to try it again. read more

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, or I wasn't till I became a parent. Now I need more caffeine, so I am becoming more familiar with coffee and coffee shops. And I get up so early that by 8 or 9am I need a "second breakfast" or at least a snack. This was handy today, and I needed at least a snack, so I stopped in. Cool little shop, a few tables, a small but luscious pastry case, and the standard assortment of drinks. Super friendly service. I wanted about 4 of the pastries but settled on the raspberry corn muffin. Wow. Picture what that might be. Now make it twice as good. That's what this was. Airy but sturdy and not crumbly. A nice sweet cornbready flavor, raspberries sprinkled throughout, sugar crystals on top. Yum. Yum. Yum. Just what I needed to get through to lunch. I also got an iced mocha, and it was excellent. Strong coffee, good flavor, tempered with milk and chocolate but not weakened too much. I'll be back for more pastries, and more coffee, and a sandwich if I come later. Such a cutie, homey little spot! This little cafe has fresh coffee, sandwiches, soups, and pastries. It's very light and airy. A couple of tables inside and outside. The sandwiches are large! Winn Winn cafe is such a gem! Parking was easy even on a weekend, during peak brunch time. We were able to get a spot right around the corner from the cafe. I tried their iced latte, which is now definitely in my top 3 of iced lattes I've tried in Columbus. I also got to try their coffee cake which is HUGE. The crumble on top of the cake was delightful with perfect amount of cinnamon. And the cake itself was also soft and satisfying. There are several tables inside as well as outside. Our first visit today with Family for Breakfast. This get is nicely decorated, spotlessly clean with plenty of parking. We were promptly greeted by a smiling host. We devoured their fabulous coffee cake and hash along with a perfect cup of hot, fresh coffee. Co-owner Audrey came out to greet us and express her appreciation. I have had the chance to try various items from Winn Winn in the short time they have been around. They are a fine addition to the Grandview / 5th x Northwest area filling a nice niche for the area. You won't go wrong with either their sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie. Both are huge to the point that it can be two servings if you try to eat it after having one of their entrees. The "Junk" cookie which is only sold on Saturdays is a step behind their main two sweets IMO. Also their muffins are well-portioned and tasty as well if that's your preference. Hands down the best item that I tried was their Italian Sandwich. Every bite was wonderful! On the other hand, their Turkey Sandwich was not available the last time I visited which led to me trying the egg sandwich on an everything bagel. Though vegetarians may rejoice at that sandwich, I have seen Winn Winn sell versions of that sandwich with a slice of meat which would have improved my impression of it. I'll chalk that up to bad luck. (Of note, the everything bagel was pretty good!) Overall, the engaging staff and quick, kind service make this the kind of place that you want to root for its success - which I do. It's definitely worth (another) visit. read more

Cute little spot with ample parking around. I got the hash and it was delicious! Simple with egg, peppers and potatoes, but done so well. My son had the frosted cookie which was huge and so tasty. have been going to Winn Winn since the first week it opened and I can honestly say seeing their evolution has been a pleasure! they have amazing customer service both in person and on social media and always give me a warm welcome and an amazing meal and beverage.
