Wish I could give this place negative stars My son ordered flowers for my birthday, today March 19. He paid extra to have them delivered prior to noon. They were not. Then he was told before 2 pm. They showed up at a little before 2:30. And they are PATHETIC. Only 5 roses, was supposed to be half dozen. And the roses in this haphazardly put together bouquet are old, all but one blown way open. The bouquet looks NOTHING like the picture that it was supposed to look like!!! I fully expect that you will be refunding him for most, if not all of it. You should be ashamed. (edit - he says this was the "deluxe bouquet" or ordered and paid for. Far from "deluxe"! I had to stop on way home and at my expense have this bouquet fixed as I was ashamed to have it out for a dinner party that evening) EDIT NOTE: they called me and said they would send a replacement to my office by 5:00 pm on Monday March 23. I was sent flowers from my son for Mother's Day. They arrived on Friday and I must say were gorgeous although I thought they were very crowed. My husband ordered flowers for me through 1-800-flowers. The arrangement that was delivered was not at all what he ordered other than the vase. The roses were a completely different color and the vase was primarily filled with cheap, dry purple filler flowers, which were absolutely not in what he ordered. Even worse, the arrangement smelled heavily of cigarette smoke to the degree I called 1-800-flowers to complain. I also did a little googling this first and found several complaints of the same nature, including cigarette stink! These people have a habit of saying they made deliveries that they did not. After waiting 2 days for a delivery which they said had already been delivered, I got a call from a neighbor 4 blocks away stating that they had a delivery for me. If I could give this place negative stars I would! They are very rude, inconsiderate and do not know how to do business. I am actually filing a report with the BBB for the treatment that I received. I ordered a Mother's Day bouquet for my sister-in-law via the florist's website for my brother to pick up. (They there and I live in Philadelphia). When my brother arrived he was told that they never received the order, though the site had provided me with a confirmation number and all. He continued on to ask what had happened and was smugly and rudely sent away without any other assistance. I called to follow up to ensure that I had not been charged for the order. Based on the gentleman's attitude, I could tell that my brother had been correct. I merely wanted to know who I could contact to find out further logistics, but he hung up on me. I called two more times, each time him hanging up on me and finally accusing me of harassing the store. I was very polite, and wanted nothing more but answers to my questions. I cannot believe that a business would treat a customer this way EVER! I WOULD NEVER UNDER ANY CONDITIONS ATTEMPT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN! I travel full time for work, and use Yelp almost on a daily basis to find restaurants and other services in cities that I don't know. I usually only use Yelp to help me find services, but I never write reviews. I only write all this now to demonstrate how strongly I felt the need to write this review to let people know how horrible this florist is. I placed an order for 3 different arrangements through 1800 Flowers. It was a $250 dollar order, so you would think they would appreciate the business and try to do a decent job. I use 1800 Flowerson a regular basis and am usually happy with the results. I don't want to make this too long of a review, but 2 of the 3 arrangements just looked pathetic. Very low quality. Not even close to the pictures of what I paid for. The delivery driver gave me his bosses' number. When I called and told him I was unhappy with the quality arrangements, HE got mad at ME and told me to give them back to the driver. No apologies. Terrible customer service. I have now looked Fox Run up on Yelp, and apparently other customers have had the same experience as I have. I am not a difficult person to please, and I am not one of those people looking to complain to get a discount. I just wanted some decent looking, healthy flowers. I highly suggest never using Fox Run if you need anything. I also spoke to 1800 Flowers to suggest they never send them any more business. read more

I do not recommend this florist and if you are using a FTD/800flowers type service and you live in Pinellas County area please ask not to have this company fill your request. I ordered The FTD® New Day Dawns™ Bouquet by Vera Wang and except for the vase and white Oriental lilies nothing was similar for what you see in the picture and pay for. I could have went to Publix supermarket and got all the flowers they sent me and spent less than half of what I paid for ordering. Also, had them delivered on Friday so she could enjoy them for the weekend and the day of our anniversary (Tues.) But the Florist never came to pick them up for an exchange even though FTD and I called to make sure they were going to. Every day I called to see if they would pick them up and everyday they failed to do so. So on the morning of our anniversary I called again and asked for a FULL refund. I ordered flowers through 1-800-FLOWERS (18F for brevity) and they were delivered to me by this company. Although I had specified that I wanted ONLY the rectangular vase the flowers were shown in on the 18F website, the flowers came in a standard round vase. The concierge in our building called Fox Run on my behalf to say the flowers were not being accepted by me because the order was not delivered as ordered. The man who answered the phone at Fox Run told the concierge that it was their right as a supplier of flowers for 18F to substitute vases as needed. I had told 18F just the day before that I would not accept the flowers in anything but the rectangular vase. Then the man at Fox Run called me directly and said he would have his delivery service pick up the flowers (18F had [incorrectly] told me that I could keep the flowers). I told him I understood that I could keep them and he told me the flowers are his property and he wanted them back. Fine. I called 18F and told them what had happened and, based on the way he spoke to me, I said I wanted to register a complaint about that specific florist. I took the flowers back down to the concierge desk and had prepared a written acknowledgement to be signed by their delivery person showing the flowers had been picked up/returned to Fox Run. It is my opinion that the "man" who picked up the flowers was the same one I spoke with on the phone, because he was very rude to the concierge when he was asked to sign the form acknowledging receipt/return of the flowers. He said that was between me and 1-800-FLOWERS. Wrong. I am entitled to have proof that the flowers were, in fact, returned to him, just in case there is a problem with the credit I am supposed to receive from 18F. I can see why the other negative reviewers wrote what they did. It seems to be an ongoing problem with this company. Because of him, and the fact that 18F seems to not vet their suppliers well enough, I cannot in all good conscience, continue to give them my business. So, two companies lost my business today. As someone said, there are plenty of florists out there, so I'm movin' on. I will tell others who live in this building about this horrible, rude experience, that's for sure. It is also noteworthy that many of the "not recommended" reviews for this company made comments that are in line with the other "recommended" reviews that appear here. The five-star reviews? Don't recommend this place at all! We ordered a simple $25 arrangement for a sweet 15. We specified a single yellow rose to be the center of the bouquet. When we picked it up it did not even contain a yellow flower let alone a rose. The florist apologized and offered to remake it but the owner quickly said NO!, we got what we ordered. He refused to give our money back and instead said we could pick up an arrangement for the house on 11/1/12 by 5PM. I arrived at 445PM & the store was locked up and closed the sign on the door indicated they were open until 530pm. I'm guessing I can kiss my $25 good bye so if you are going to use them beware. They in turn used Fox Run Florists. The flowers came a day early, wilted, a cheaper version and were left OUTSIDE an apartment building in the parking lot, uncovered. I was home, the delivery person did not ring the bell. I called and talked to the owner. He was indifferent and seemed annoyed at the call, he said he would 'talk to my delivery man' and call back. He never did. I complained to 1800flowers and got a new bunch from a different florist. That part was fine, aside from the amazing attitude of the owner of Fox Run Florists. I made a new order this week from 1800flowers, and specified not to use Fox Run, and ordered a $150.00 lovely arrangement. The flowers came at the end of the day, and astonishingly, the delivery person did the VERY SAME THING. He left them in the parking lot, outside the building, uncovered. He did not ring the bell or make any attempt to get them inside. Making matters much worse, the arrangement was a $39.00 cheapest option on the site, the complete opposite of the order. It was like it was done on purpose as some revenge thing for the earlier complaint. I didn't bother to call the owner again, as I though it would be fruitless.
