We travel all over the country by motor home and have not found a pizza that measures up to Fox's on Wolf. It is GREAT! We usually sit in the lounge area and have been very happy with the service. We always have the pizza, but other friends and family have menu items and have always been pleased! We will keep coming back! read more

Food is average tasting, prices are a little high for the quality of food. The wait staff was good but the wait time is horrible. It's an extremely poorly managed restuarant. Avoid, there are much better places to eat in the area. read more

I find that the staff that works the pick-up window or answer the phone for the most part are terrible. If I owned that business there would be major changes. Everytime I go to pick up a order - they are busy talking amongst themselves - not customer orientated at all. The people talking the orders have no idea of any coupons or specials currently being offered. Last time I picked up an order it was a chicken special which I was suppose to receive 2 med orders of side dishes, the side dishes were listed on the coupon, the girl answering the phone told me that the bake potatoes were not included - after going back and forth and bring the coupon in I received the MED (not small) side order of Bake potatoe, there was no butter or any other toppings with it. I order for 4-6 people (the chicken) would you believe I received ONE baked potatoe - I went back in the restaurant and she said that is doesn't matter if it's a small-med-or large side dish - you only get One potatoe and that's they way it has always been. That to me is " Nuts" one potatoe for 4 people and of course there is a difference in price from a small - med- or large side order. Beware when you order. read more

Honestly it was one of the worst bars I have ever been to. The pizza tastes like cardboard and the service is even worse. My buddy and I went there for a few drinks around 10 o clock and were only able to get a few drinks in before they started to close at 11:20! There bar is supposedly open until 12 am but the manager decided to last call us around 11:15 without even telling us! They handed the check to us and when we complained that we could not get another drink, the manager said he would not serve us! I would honestly not waste your time going to this bar for food or drink, the food is garbage and the service is terrible, don't waste your time! read more

the pizza is healthier than most pizza. But there are so many fat slobs in Chicagoland that they complain about it if it is not dripping with ten pounds of butter like they like it. I did get a burger there one night for 12 bucks and it came on a cold bun. Poor management is their problem. read more

worst service ever, we get there our server greated us within 2 min and we asked for a couple more so started off great. he didnt return to our table for more than 10 min to ask if we were ready. we then ordered a medium cheese for the kids and a family for the adults, we ordered 3 lemonades for the kids too. the family pizza came out first so we waited for the medium pizza, our pizza was tilted a little on the elevated tray and he said it looks like it may fall and i said can you check it, he walked away.and about 10 min go by and our server said they forgot to put our cheese pizza in. if anyone has small children they know how this could be bad. then to make it worse our pizza fell of the tray on the floor right before the medium came out and no one really cared except a waitress that seen it happen. our waiter basicly said oh well and no manager or anyone came out to say anything at all, it was like the waiters and waitress's where in charge.we where never offered refills for the kids or any discount for our problems. we will never return to this establishment ever, no supervision and no one cares. read more

Absolutely the worst tasting pizza Ever!! I ordered a pizza the other night to bring home after work. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I pick it up, bring home for the family to eat. The pizza is not even edible, barely any sauce and the crust is cardboard. You could not even chew it. I called to complain and the response I receive is "if the pizza is left in the warmer longer than 20 minutes that will happen". First of all, I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, I picked it up in 20 minutes since I work Right Next Door! And if your pizza goes bad after being in a warmer for longer than 20 minutes, there is something wrong with your pizza. Change the recipe! Bottom line, food is terrible! And they were not sympathetic at all. Honestly if they even offered a discount or anything I would not accept. It is a shame since I work next door and order other food items for lunch along with my coworkers (9 of us). I will not be ordering anything ever again! read more

We keep trying to go back to this place, as it is so close to my house. But tonight, I was reminded once again why we don't go here. And honestly, won't be back. The service was bad, the food was bad, and the prices are completely ridiculous! $7 for a soup? $14 for mozzarella sticks? $3.50 for an ice tea? C'mon! Party of 4 tonight, each ordered something different and it was all mediocre at best. Lasagna dried out and way too salty. Vodka sauce had strange chemical taste. Spaghetti was blah. Chicken avocado sandwich devoid of flavor. And our bill was $100. Server forgot my salad, which came with my "endless pasta bowl," but she charged me for it anyway. Our server was a dingbat. The only good thing about this evening was the live entertainment. The Acoustic Thing was fantastic! Don't get me started about their disgusting pizza they serve. A few Sunday's ago I was craving some foxs. Normally I dine in but I didn't have enough time this day. So I decided I would try carryout. the service was terrible, nothing like the dine in. When I came in the girl behind the counter was on her phone. I guess her texts were more important than taking care of a customer who's trying to pay for a thirty dollar pizza. I was not greeted with a hello or even a smile. During the transaction she started talking to another co worker complaining about work as if I was invisible. She finally acknowledged me when she had to tell me my pizza would be a few more minutes. During this time she left the carryout area and I watched two other pizzas sit on the counter and get cold. When my pizza was ready ten minutes later. It was laid on the counter without a word. I will spend my money somewhere else where they value their customers. My receipt says the employees name was Emma, foxs needs to retrain some of their carryout staff. read more

Very disappointed with the whole experience. It was my father's birthday and we had a party of 20. I was the first to arrive and was handed a bunch of menus and sat at empty tables (no place servings, no water). The first people were done eating before the last people even got their food. Condiments were missing and only brought out at the very end of the meal. The little kids were served almost last with cold pizza (and the wrong pizza). When we asked a busboy to try to get the last two members of our party their food, we were told that was not his job. They waited another 10 minutes after that to be served. At the end of dinner, a check was brought - no offer of desserts so the kids went for ice cream elsewhere. Our party of 20 was crammed into two rows of tables right up to all the people in the booths who we felt bad for because clearly we were way too close. Our waitress was nice, but clearly overwhelmed and we all agreed it was extremely poor scheduling on the management's part. The place is geared toward SENIORS and that's all who goes there. We ate our pizza at the bar on a SATURDAY night and by 7:30 PM, there were zero people seated at the bar. Pitiful. They CONTINUE to have the same guy over and over sing and play the guitar and I believe he runs most of the people out. I can't stand him. The lights over the booths on the side of the bar dining room must have 300 watt light bulbs in them- it looks like surgery is about to be performed over there. They had a young girl seated in the lobby available to face paint- but of course- no one wanted that- so the poor girl just sat there looking bored. The pizza used to be one of my favorites, but they have gotten EXTREMELY skimpy with the toppings and it now has way to much sauce taste. Why do you ruin your own pizzas and thus alienate customers? Why?? The manager has got to be a senior themself, as they seem to be tayloring the place to the 75 and above crowd- no exaggeration. With a 50% off coupon on all pizza's in hand, we decided to give Fox's another try. Considering we have been here before, did not really think too much of the pizza, and considering perhaps they have changed cooks, we said, let's give it a try. Knowing that the pizza at Fox's in Orland is much better then the one on Wolf, we said what the heck, maybe they have changed. The place was not busy, it was beautifully decorated for St. Paddy's day. The last time we were at this location, it was packed at the bar with construction workers having a gay old time and very loud and this is in the afternoon, no such thing this time. On several occasions, in the past, we have been scared away by all the children and their parents who gravitate here after a ball game or soccer game. Parties of this type are held in the party rooms available. Now about the pizza, all and all it was okay, hot, thin crispy crust with an ample amount of sausage. If you are not a thin crust fan, this is not for you. The waitress was really nice, the place was clean and we were pleasantly surprised. Considering there were only ten people in the place and two at the bar, service was just fine. Compliments to the servers and the bartender, very personable people. Our bill would have been $40.00 for two cups of soup and a large pizza, two soft drinks as well, pricey for pizza and soup. Glad that we had that coupon. Pizza was average, soup was good. read more

Rude service in the carry out. Got all the way home on Monday, December 26, 2016 and part of my order wasn't in the bag. I called to tell them the "chips" weren't with the fish and chips. They said they would deliver another entire order of fish and chips to my house. I don't live in their delivery area so I said I would be back in Mokena in a few days and I would like to stop and pick up the fish and chips then. They said ok, just call ahead and explain what had happened on Monday and bring my receipt. So on Thursday, December 29, 2016 I called and said I would like to stop in 20 minutes to pick up the order of fish and chips. Bill said oh no you aren't getting a full order of fish and chips, I will have a bag of fries ready for you. So I asked what changed since their offer on Monday and Bill really couldn't come up with a good answer to my question and repeated that he would have a bag of fries ready for me. So as I passed through Mokena, I stopped to pick up my bag of fries, ( which by the way, are terrible fries) and Bill grabbed my receipt from Monday out of my hand and said he just couldn't figure out why they messed up my order on Monday. Long story short, even if you live close by check your bag of carry outs before you leave their restaurant. read more
