I've had Joey's pizza a handful of times. I decided it was finally time to give them a review. Having lived in the Orland Park area for the last 8ish years I'm amazed I hadn't stumbled upon Joey's any sooner. In the same location they have a hotdog stand & a pizza parlor. This review is strictly pizza parlor. The thin crust they have is quite enjoyable. Furthermore the specialty pizzas they offer are a great go-to. I've had the supreme and the Nicky so far. Both were wonderful. My husband likes to get some of there pasta offerings as well. He highly recommends the Chicken Française. One thing that was a set back on the last particular visit was the hour and a half wait for a pick up. I'm guessing this was a really busy night. I plan on ordering Joey's again very soon!

Wow! Another winner from Joey's! We ordered our pizza well done and THEY DID IT! How refreshing to get what you order. We've always loved Joey's and now there's another reason to love it. I can't wait to try the gelato!

So, the food here is good. The pizza isn't the best, but I came for the commodity of eating outdoors and gelato. I was dismayed to see that the employees are wearing their masks over their chin, with their nose and mouth exposed. One girl didn't have a mask at all when she came out to stock the cooler with water. What drove me the most crazy was the girl working the gelato counter was eating behind the counter where food is served. I'm sitting here now writing this and I see a customer is at the gelato counter with no make and they're serving him. May come back after COVID if they're not going to follow their own rules.

I've been a customer of joeys for a while now and have had great experiences. Naturally I was excited to see the Pizzeria open. Today we ordered the 18in with sausage green pepper and mushroom. I appreciate the use of fresh ingredients and real Italian sausage. Let me be clear I mean fresh ingredients not "fresh" like papa johns says "fresh". I'm talking about freshly cut peppers, mushrooms, etc. I do like the pizza sauce I think it compliments the other ingredients well. Some sauces at other places can be very overbearing but not here. Today they had a rib special which we also tried. Ribs were cooked extremely well. The slab itself was great quality. Very meaty with Minimal fat and gristle on the bones which I appreciate. The ribs also had a nice little char on them which is key in my opinion for BBQ. Sauce it quality as well; perfect amount of sweet with a nice tangy finish! Though I took the order to go I do enjoy the atmosphere. The place is clean and has that family feel to it! As you walk in you'll notice the big menu boards straight ahead which is where you place your order and pick up the food. They have a few high boy tables and seating situated along the left wall. On ur way out make sure to grab some gelato! They have a nice variety of flavors to choose from as you can see from the pic I posted! They have seating outside to the right of the building to enjoy you meal or scoop of gelato with a nice fountain in the middle. The customer service has always been great at joeys and today was no different! Stopped in after dinner tonight to grab some gelato for the family and brought it back to Roselle! The gelato is among if not the best I've had! Great variety of flavors and always seem to have something new every time I come in!

The pizza was delicious! 1/4 of a family/large pizza plus a can of pop for $5. The Mac n' cheese pasta was enough for two people. Homemade gelato, at least two dozen flavors. Will definitely be back for more.

OK--I've been popping into Joey's for years to grab a great, sloppy double-cheeseburger or hotdog. The place has grown incrementally, from a fast-food stand to a sprawling take-out with plenty of parking and outdoor dining. I was skeptical when they put added a whole new building dedicated to Italian fare and gelato, but wow, they continue to delight. After hearing some good things, I decided to try the pizza and I'm glad I did. Tired of paying way too much for premium pizza? I ordered a Chicago-style, (thin-crust) 18" all-pepperoni, (on top) and 1/2 sausage and paid $19 and change. The crust was tasty and with a nice chew. Sauce was tangy but not overpowering or too sweet. Toppings were delicious and substantial. Overall? Great pizza at a crazy low price and well-worth the drive!

So the space here is mostly taken up with pizza boxes and a long food service table, with a narrowish aisle to order your food / desserts. They have meatballs; various pizza slices and whole pizzas (unlike the new place next door, they'll serve you slices all day); lasagna and manicotti. There are other things but I'm a vegetarian so I zone out the minute I see "sausage." Vegetarian? They default to a marinara red sauce and vegetable is one of the default slices. I didn't see eggplant parmesan on the menu, but they told me if I ask for it (advance notice would be helpful) they'll make it. Entrees are served hot. The manicotti and lasagna are delicious; the manicotti is not a big pan but a take-out container with two manicotti rolls; will feed one hungry person but wouldn't be enough for two people. Service is still friendly although the space is now a little cramped. The cake and gelato, etc. are still delicious, so I stand by everything I said about dessert in my earlier review.

I waited a few minutes for my drink to be incorrectly made and then had to wait even longer for the light bulb to turn on in the emoloyees head after i had to remind her about the items i ordered that she still had yet to serve me. No coffee shop in this whole town can make a proper matcha latte. I come ever year and still have yet to find one. A true disgrace. And i see the owner wants to try to tear me apart in their response to my review. That says a lot about yourself as an owner, just remember that!! Hope you find happiness and lessons on how to make a matcha latte bc this is not it!! You literally have nothing else better to do than to make fun of me. get a life! Making fun of me for "finally using my real name". Ya know people have nicknames right? Such a great comeback! you're so funny!! Why are you such a rude and mean person honestly? No, that's where you're wrong. I wrote an honest review and did not attack ANYBODY. Maybe you should go back and read. In response, you literally made FUN OF ME for your business not doing their job correctly. Yet i'm in the wrong?? Learn some logic. I was not mean, I was upset that I paid $7 for a cup of MILK like you had said. I do not like when owners try to bully people over their honest reviews like you are right now. Don't you have a business to run? Oh yeah you're too busy harassing unhappy customers because they are unhappy because of going to your business. Instead of trying to argue with me over it, maybe have a meeting with your employees and show them how to properly prepare the items on the menu??? Why can you not understand that if an employee is young and "learning life skills", I will not be paying for her learning needs?? I will go somewhere else when the barista already has life skills and competency to make something that's on the menu. She wasn't even the one that made my drink, she just said there until i had to remind her of my order that she just took 5 minutes ago. Don't attack me for YOUR poor business and stop saying it's okay because it's very much NOT OKAY. And here you are again attacking me as an individual person rather than addressing the actual issue at hand which is the quality of your service. Smh. Time will tell for you, if you're harassing unhappy customers then that shows me how you're desperate for business and a good look. Maybe work on your service then, and good reviews will come. Don't attack me as a person, you are INCREDIBLY disrespectful and that will not make this situation any better. I can tell you haven't owned a business for very long because oh my you have some work to do if you're this butthurt about an honest review where i didn't even disrespect you like you are continuously to me. I would say exactly the same to you: "If you don't like what you are receiving, project something different." If you don't like the bad reviews, run a better business. And stop talking to me like you're a therapist, as you said, it's not that deep. Stop talking about me as a person as you do not know me, I do not do the same to you as i do not know you. I am speaking on the negative experience I had. If you can't accept that, then don't. Stop trying to harass me into taking my review down because it won't happen. Stop trying to direct message disrespectful things, this is why I blocked you. Work on your business, not scaring customers into removing their negative reviews by harassing them continuously during your own business hours. Just wow. All this talk about me "publicly insulting" you when i didn't, and then here you go ACTUALLY publicly insulting me and discreetly insulting me by direct messaging me. And the fact that you think I made another account just to leave another review is hilarious. You really think i care THAT much? As i have said, If i felt your employee was competent to remake the drink properly, i would have said something. Therefore I didn't. I was already waiting for my croissant and didn't feel like taking another 20 minutes to explain what the issue was to a girl "learning life skills" when the owner was not even present. I have the right to leave a review just as you have the right to respond. The issue is you thinking my review is valid which is i guess your bad decision as a business owner because you cannot take any criticism. I could not imagine attacking someone for leaving a bad review to my business because my business was not good enough. If i were you, I would just work to make it better rather than attacking the customers that keep you in business anyways. But your logic is another topic to be discussed and truly studied and researched because you make literally no sense. You attack me as a person for leaving an honest review and then try to be nice
