Super yummy Marion berry and apple cider - took some to go! Very friendly server as well. Definitely recommend a stop here.

Fox Tail Cider is part of the Fruit Loop so we made a quick stop to sample cider and spirits made on the farm. It is family friendly with dogs allowed on the patio. We tried a flight and loved the variety. There was not a bad one in the bunch. I especially enjoyed the Rhuby Red and Butter-Tail. The Rhuby Red had a strawberry, rhubarb and apple taste that was lightly sweetened. The Butter-Tail was also semi-sweet with a caramel, graham and apple taste. I wished that I had more time to hang out because the atmosphere was relaxing. I will definitely return in my next visit.

I am not a huge drinker, but I do love the sample aspect of places. Here we went in and grabbed a 10 pack and a couple bottles to go. They have gone 10 for 10 on this. All the flavors were real good, and even the full sweet weren't too sweet. I prefer a dry or semi dry and they had some real tasty ones that fit the bill. They have seating outside, though limited, and a quick server. If you are in the area, this place has delivered great service both times we have been here.

I knew that everyone enjoys hard cider. I love whiskey so it was a good idea to stop and try a cidery out while on vacation. We arrived and entered a large line. Chose any 5 ciders that we wanted and I got a pear brandy that was sensational. I did check out the distillery equipment. Small pot still they had in the back. Appears they only have a couple whiskeys on the board. I believe they made beer and wine as well. All of the ciders that I tried was terrific. We sat down inside. Not much room inside but lots of areas outside for dining. It was a good find and near the other location. They have a farm of orchards and more of them.

Great selection of ciders, hard alcohol, beer, snacks, sandwiches, and free wifi on the fruit loop.

Fox Tail has really good cider and it was the best that we tried while in Oregon. If you don't like cider they have apple wine, 2 beers on tap, cocktails and spirits. If you are hungry, they also have snacks. We ended up ordering a pretzel with cheese. There are 10 ciders on tap, we had a flight so we were able to try them all. My two favorites were the empire and perfect pear. If you are around the Mount Hood area, check this place out (it is also part of the Fruit Loop).

Love this place! So cute and charming, and the staff is incredible. They really make you feel like a local. Great ciders! The cherry is my favorite but they're all very unique. Also, added points for having a clean restroom and changing table for my baby

Perfect way to end our trip to Hood River! The young man helping us was excellent, so helpful. The space was nice and cool, and clean. Very inviting on an incredibly muggy August afternoon. The ciders were fantastic! The best I've ever had. My favorite was the Fuzzy Haven, which has peach notes, but is dry and refreshing, not at all sweet. My next favorite is the Mora Rosa, as tasty as it is beautiful, made from apples and raspberries. The Mora Rosa is also refreshing and is a semi-dry cider. There is Corn Hole and Ladder Golf out front, and a sweet little produce market next door. My only complaint is, they do not bottle sell their cider bottled in Portland... Such a bummer!!!

The ciders in Hood River are "always hard" ... which is pretty much word-for-word the way Eazy-E described the Boyz-N-the-Hood. This is apple country! Hard cider is a legit "thing" in the Pacific Northwest and the drive along Oregon Route 35 between Mt. Hood and Hood River is lined with apple orchards and fruit farms ... exactly where you'll discover Fox Tail Cider. With 10 different ciders on tap, you can choose a sampler of all for $14 ... or 5 for $8. Full pints ($7) and 12-oz pours ($5) are also available once you "decider-on-a-cider" that you like best. We had a non-drinker along (please cider responsibly) and Fox Tail was able (with some effort) to scrounge up some old-school non-alcoholic apple juice for her, too. The dry, semi-dry, and semi-sweet ciders ranged from 4.8% ABV to 6.5%. My recommendations are the Sir Isaac (semi-dry 6.2%), Pollen Keeper (semi-sweet 4.8%), and Fox-Tail/Full Sail (semi-dry 5.5%). Overall, the experience in the cozy, fresh-wood vibe with friendly service at Fox Tail Ciders was much like the ciders: chill and refreshing.

Fox Tail Cider & Distillery is a great place to stop by as you're traveling the Fruit Loop. They have unique ciders on tap that are good if you're getting a sampler. This being said, I wasn't blown away by any of them (just my personal tastes), so I wouldn't want to stop by for a full pint.

We stopped here after visiting Wy'east Vineyard! This place is super quaint! You can buy fresh fruit right next door! We had the tasters of all the samples and they were pretty good. They were pretty large pours so we didn't finish them all. My mother ordered a daiquiri and boy was it amazing! If you stop here make sure to get one! They make them with fresh fruit from the farm! It was the best frozen daiquiri I've ever had!

Really good, unique variety of cider served up by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Get over your "all ciders should be sweet and are for girls" concept and try everything they have to offer. You'll be impressed. Smoked blueberry cider? SCORE.

So we tried a few by getting a taster tray. We got a sweet one and two others that were more on the dryer side. They weren't bad but all three had an after taste we couldn't quite pin down. In the end we thought it was maybe the kind of apples they uses or perhaps it was something they used or a method they used during the preparation process that made the difference but it was unfamiliar to us and we weren't sure what we thought about it. We ordered also from the appetizer part of the menu and got hushpuppies and liked those a lot. It had a dipping sauce, sort of a chili sauce you see at Asian restaurants that made a nice touch to this appetizer. The ladies that were working here were super nice and friendly. So with the good service and food Crush comes in at a solid four stars.

Sitting on the prairie, taking in the beauty of the orchard, vineyard, and grassy hills - it's the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening. We attended their end of the season / holiday event on 11/13/21 and had such a good time! Tasking flights weren't available since there were so many people there, but we created out own by purchasing a glass of six different ciders and sharing. The blackberry currant with hints of rosemary had me from the first sip and I ended up drinking most of that glass! And bought a growler to go. All of the ciders are dry; some take a few sips to really tune in to the flavors and with each sip, they get better. At the holiday sale they had a food truck making gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches which were the perfect accompaniment. And apple cider doughnuts. They made gift bags with a variety and quantity of ciders and added tee shirts or hand towels, all in cool patterns. Family and dog friendly! Im looking forward to the spring so I can go back and enjoy this beautiful venue in the spring, then summer and fall. Yep, I will be a regular! Until then, I'll enjoy their cider at several breweries and restaurants around Hood River and Portland, and will buy bottles at St. John's Marketplace in Portland.
