Lunch was great, great selection of beers. Staff and service were friendly and attentive - above and beyond expectations! We enjoyed french bread pizzas and a wedge salad with our pilsners and hef's. Staff shared some of their own fresh made chili oil - tasty stuff. We took quite a few extra beers home with us. Great time - thank you!

Upon arrival we saw a few different beers we wanted to try. Luckily quite a few of them were in cans which we took home but we had a beer there at the taproom also to absorb and relax at the taproom location. An adorable cat that more than likely lived there or put in a hard working shift of charming customers was present and we made over the kitty and pet it when it came to see us. Such a lovely cat! But onto the beer now! For the beer that we had at the taproom we had the Rice and Shine Japanese Lager. This was a pretty solid lager and one of my favorite types of lagers. I do love a lager that involves rice. Perhaps not the best ever that I have come across but still quite good. The flavor profile of this beer has a clean, crisp and refreshing aspects to it along with a biscuity flavor. The rest of the beers we had went home with us in cans. One beer was the River Pillow. This was a Pale Ale and had a nice, soft feel to it. The hop presence wasn't too overwhelming. We had another Pale Ale also. This one was called the Shredipede. This beer has a clean, crisp and citrusy presence to it. It is bright in hue and is nice and crushable which means you can have more than one with ease. Moving on from that was another kind of lager. This one was a Mexican Lager. The name of this one was the Pinche Chela. Mexican Lagers are another favorite lager of mine if not my #1 favorite for this beer type. This beer has a nice corn taste which provides a natural sweetness and the beer is nice and crisp. Again... perhaps not my most favorite version that I have had but enjoyable all the same. After that we went to darker beer territory and had a dry Irish Stout. I love these kinds of stouts because of that dryness aspect at work. Other flavor features in this are roastiness, oatmeal and the feel of it is smooth, creamy and soft. An excellent stout. This was a good stop and I am glad this brewery finally got tried out.

There's also an arcade machine in the back that's free to play. They currently only have 4 bars on tap, but the service is fast and easy. Overall a great place for fun but lowkey vibes.

They have a nice patio area with a few (4-5) tables that are covered. We got there super early and opted to sit outside since the weather was so nice. The service was fantastic and our waitress was super friendly. We discovered that she has ties to KC so I always love that. I started with an Adeline blackberry sour. It's pretty to look at and so delicious to drink. Sours in Oregon are hands down the best. I wish we had more of it in KC but I highly recommend that you get sours and ciders if you're in the PNW. For lunch I ordered the Club Sandwich: Sweetheart ham, hickory-smoked turkey, Tillamook white cheddar, Applewood smoked bacon; topped with lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo. It normally comes on sourdough but I swapped it out for ciabatta. First off, it's a HUGE club sandwich. Lots of meat that had amazing flavor. Not some sad deli sandwich at all. The ciabatta had great chew and complemented the sandwich perfectly. No complaints here! Did I eat it all? Yes, and that was a great plan because it kept me going for the next 24 hours that ended up being a cluster that resulted in no food being available. Sandwiches come with chips or a garden salad but I opted for a different side with an up charge. Let's talk about the Oregon Blue Salad: spring mix, dried cranberries, honeycrisp apples, Rogue Creamery Oregon Blue crumbles, and maple candied walnuts; tossed in an apple cider vinaigrette. So GOOD! You can get it by itself and it would make a great meal. Everything was so fresh. Again, not a single complaint. If you are ever in the area, please stop in. Everything was amazing and I can't wait until I return. Double Mountain is on my list to come back to! Highly recommend!

He had no personality, no polite comment or conversation and even seemed annoyed when asked how his day was going. I asked to substitute the feta cheese with a different cheese offered on the menu and his initial response was we can't do that. He then asked if I had an allergy which I did not but expressed feta was a cheese not to my liking. He asked me what I would want if my request was unable to be met and I expressed being unsure. As he walked away my thought was did they pre make the salads? He did return saying they are able to change the cheeses. The cherry salad was amazing the combination of flavors switching out the feta with a smoked Gouda I believe even added to the overall salad. I added the chicken to my salad and was completely surprised that the chicken was dark meat which was not noted. I have never been given dark meat when adding chicken it has always been white meat (chicken breast). I won't have added the chicken had I known this as I don't enjoy dark meat. However the salad was good the cherries, picked onions candied pistachios and vinaigrette was light and refreshing. The French fries were fabulous - fresh cut, crispy, salty with a tasty aioli sauce. They were finger licking good.

I'm so used to fish and chips being made with cod or other white fish, so this was a fun change. Despite being a pub, this place is family-friendly. Service was prompt, and the restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant. It's kind of funny because you'll have people in suits having a business meeting over dinner, and other regular hotel guests just dining casually in t-shirts and jeans. On both occasions, I was dining with another family member. When we were there for dinner, we were having a really hard time deciding what to order, and our server let us know that there was a 2-for deal going on for some of the pastas. Each of us had been considering a pasta, so that solved that problem! Both were delicious, and we had leftovers to take home. When we were there for breakfast, I was feeling adventurous and ordered the lox and bagel, which I've only had a very basic version of one other time. It was soooo good, and very filling. Several other options on the breakfast menu also sounded really good, but I'm glad I went with this for the experience. I'd definitely eat here again if/when I stay in the hotel again. Since there's no free breakfast offered by the hotel, they give you vouchers for the restaurant, so you can get a pretty good deal on a meal.

Definitely the standout of the table for me. Service was friendly and expedient, which I always appreciate in the morning when everyone is trying to get caffeinated and out the door. My companions ordered the protein bowl, which was a hearty mix of grains and grilled vegetables with your choice of tofu or egg. It leaned a little bland flavor-wise, but it did exactly what it needed to do: provided a filling, healthy base for a full day of activity in Hood River. Not every dish was a knockout, but overall it was a very solid breakfast spot with fair pricing at about $18 per dish.
