I was pleasantly surprised by Fox's donut den. The donuts were light and airy but not so thin that you end up having to eat 4 to get by. The red velvet cake donut made me want to get a full dozen of those alone! Worst kolache's ever, and the only reason why the sausage biscuit was a little bit better was because the hotdog where the kolache was the worse...and neither were not warm. Choked them down cold directly after the young girl "warmed" them up, in between her conversation with her co-worker that was obviously more important. They have everything from the old fashion to cronies to apple fritters, all equally fresh and delicious. This place feels unappreciative of minority customers. I stopped by for some donuts and coffee, but my experience was ruined by an encounter with an older man who seemed creepy and racially biased. I'm not sure if he's the owner, but he suggested to the cashier that if I was using large bills, they shouldn't accept my money. Seriously? It's not the customer's job to manage your register. That kind of service is unacceptable, and all of this happened right in front of me. The cashier was kind and deserved a five-star rating. A classic mom & pop type donut shop. They have a lot of different donut options (classic, old fashioned, cake, eclair, donut holes) and some legendary fritters. Came on a Saturday morning and picked up a dozen for ~$15 which nowadays is pretty cheap! The old fashioned and red velvet cake donuts I just had were 10/10. I'd highly recommend picking up a box and taking them to a group of people or your family. Not a lot of room on the inside to sit...
