We've ordered from here twice. Both times pizza while doing work . The Pizza is good but could use a little more seasoning imo. While carrying out a 16" pizza I asked for some powdered Parmesan. The guy at the counter gave me 1 small condiment cup. I asked for a few more and he said he could only give 1 additional. Anyway the pizza is good and it was nice and hot. The place is a sports bar and probably a good place to watch a game. But we haven't given it a try yet.

Local place near Bayside. They have good happy hour and I love their burgers, rosemary fries, & specials. I had the fish in chips on special was pretty disappointed. Thin end of fish mostly batter. They should stick either way what their good at, the fish isn't. Service was great, they have new crush options and nice sport bar. Drinks are fantastic.

Good food as always, great service! The dumplings were very tasty but the dipping sauce was very very salty. Calamari was cooked perfectly and marinara sauce was perfectly delicious. Favorite late night stop after a show at Freeman.

We found a pdf copy of the menu and there was a $20 special for an extra large pizza with one topping and a side of bread sucks. The Sauce, cheese, and mushrooms were skimpy. I wouldn't consider the pizza size an extra large. We probably should have got the big daddy. The bread sticks were good but again not enough sauce. Next time we are in town we will try somewhere different. I think this just might be the normal pizza here compared to our hometown. We are spoiled with good hometown pizza.

Dropped a good tip just to show that you shouldn't judge a book because of its cover.

We went there and had a great time with the people on our side of the bar but, I personally was taken back when the bartender went to my wife and said that she wasn't a bartender and continued to insult her while I was in the bathroom. She has over a half a million in sales a year and makes an incredible living. We bought drinks for the whole bar. We gave the bartender 100% tip on the bill. We will never ever set foot in that place again. The only reason is because of the bartender that treated us like complete outsiders. Deep roots here and didn't try to push that narrative. As someone that has been the GM of several successful clubs, she wouldn't make the cut. Good luck in the future as we and anyone I know won't be back. If we weren't in the industry we wouldn't have left a tip like this. Not nice knowing you Jamie We stopped by for a drink on the way home as it was my wife's birthday.

The pizza is frozen and super mushy. The cinnamon sticks we're dry and hard, the icing fell off all in one piece. All for $40, waste of money.

Been coming here with my parents since the place opened, my parents come often they live 2 miles away. Sometimes when my wife and I come down it's later in the evening and we've been on the road for 3 house so we just grab something to eat close by. Tonights visit was one of the worst visits ever, first off our server was terrible. We hadn't even sat down and she was asking what we wanted to drink, the hostess that sat us just plopped all the menus on the table and walked away. So I was looking at the menus and saw the happy hour menu I said it's still happy hour she said food until 5 drinks till 6 I said why did she give us a happy hour menu if it's after the times. We ordered I had the fish n chips parents shared a burger and wife had a burger. The fish was very small for $13 and fries were extra burgers were good. Asked for more tea and took forever but wAs quick to bring a check. Very disappointed!!

Fries gross soggy and stale tasting. Pic doesn't doesn't do justice to how bad they are

Little did I know how incredibly delicious and awesome this lil' gem of a restaurant is!!! My family and I are sort of foodies so it takes a lot to impress us but we def were! I appreciate their health conscious approach like using avocado oil, and making all their dressings from scratch, even their mayonnaise, and offering lo-carb wraps at no extra charge. All of our food was delicious and flavorful, esp the carrot cale which speaks for itself!! The owner Darren literally walks around greeting customers at their tables, helping out the staff and making sure everyone is pleased with their meal. He told me that their pancake recipe has been in his family for 10 generations, right after getting us to-go boxes. My only complaint is that they arent located closer to my home and that i have to wait a whole year to go back!!!! This place is a must for breakfast/brunch/lunch and has earned a permanent spot our annual beach week trip!!

If you are someone like me who has an anziaty problem take your meds before going to this excellent place. The atmosphere is real cool from sitting outside to sitting inside in a few different rooms all nicely done, very comfortable atmosphere. Long time chef up in Philly, I had a good feeling he knew what he was doing. Ironically, ever since that day, I would hear people raving about Lucas. That's when I knew I had to go see what's up. My Fiancé and I reserved a pie yesterday for 3:45, kept it simple for as I always do when eating at a joint for the first time - really shows if a place can execute the simple things. Which in this case, they hit it out of the park. We sat in the car in the parking lot instead of waiting 30 mins until we got home, because I really wanted to try it fresh out of the oven. I devoured 4 slices in a matter of 15 mins. This is the best traditional pizza oven pizza I've had in Delaware, and I moved here in '06. As my Fiancé and I were feeling like we were in heaven enjoying the pie, I told her they have sandwiches as well, one of which was a Chx Caesar sub - our favorite. She insisted we get one for later, of course I agreed. I called back in and ordered it, was ready in 10 minutes. When I was handed the sandwich wrapped up, i already knew it was gonna be a hit. Thing was massive. We made it home and had our way with this sandwich. Which from the picture looks a bit messy, but it was very easy to eat and stayed together. Was delicious. This place was well worth the anticipation and excitement, they certainly delivered and we will be back to try the Tito's (Vodka Pie) and Cheesesteak. I'll be thinking about this first experience until we get back for a second time. Well done brother, yall got it going on for sure !

On our annual Bethany Beach vacation, we searched for the latest restaurant openings and Surfin' Betty's looked like a place worth trying... WOW- IT CERTAINLY IS!! The menu is mind numbingly good!!! We had such a hard time picking our meals because everything sounds amazing from the burgers to the fried chicken sandwiches to the wings to the hot dogs. The abundant toppings, the clever names, and the clear passion for food jumps off the page!!! Maybe it's called Surfin' Betty's because you will keep Surfin and Surfin through the menu on a tidal wave of salivation!!!! We did an online order for takeout. Modifications were simple and the entire ordering process was a breeze. The restaurant is down Garfield Pkwy inland, but only a few minutes from Bethany Beach. The parking lot is jam packed as a few good restaurants are all in the same plazas. But patience is a virtue and spots open up! FYI it's a good thing if a popular place is popular... just remember that! The food pickup was even simpler. Clearly tagged and bagged.. even with a Bag 1 of 2 to ensure that I grabbed both. The order had hand written notes on each container to even make handing it out so easy with an order for a large family. THIS FOOD was THE BEST that we ate all week at Bethany Beach!!! Unanimous decision from the entire family! Highlights - Jam Good Bacon Burger - with two smash patties crisped and greasy, a gooey bacon jam, and applewood bacon that was utter perfection, this burger is still in my dreams!!! Pittsburgh Dawg - my hometown represented 7 hours away, I had to order it! The beef link with creamy coleslaw and crispy French fries all held by a buttery Texas Toast - I hate to say it .... But Primanti's should take notes Sweet Thai Chicken Wings - crispy wings with the tastiest sauce ever. Perfect balance of sweetness, savory, and spice!!! I'd eat Sweet Thai as a salad dressing or use it as a toothpaste - I loved it!! The restaurant itself was super well decorated too. With that known, I found it to be a bit overrated. To begin, I ordered the mozzarella moons for an appetizer and they were excellent. The breading was crispy and the cheese was fresh with a great pull. These were easily the best part of the meal. After that, I ordered the Jam Good Bacon Burger with fries and the results were mediocre. To explain, the burger was overcooked and the meat was bland. Similarly, the bacon jam was over the top sweet and just didn't work well with the burger. On the other hand, the bun was fresh and had nice flavor. But, it was still a below average burger. On the contrary, the fries were pretty good. To intricate, the fries were thin, crispy, and tasted hand-cut. To finalize, Surfin Betty's offers mediocre burgers, but the fries and mozzarella moons are worth your time.
