I had a bike that needed new tires installed. Dropped the bike off during mid November of 2020 with the tires and tubes required. Was told it would take a few weeks, but they would call me when it's ready. I said no rush, it's winter time and I won't be needing to ride anytime soon. After a few weeks had passed, I never heard back. I called multiple times. Left multiple messages with no returns to my calls. I stopped by multiple times, to find a hand written note on the door says they're closed. Which contradicts their business hours posted online. Fast forward 4 months later to March of 2021. Not a single effort was made to reach out to me. Finally, I walk in on a day they happen to be open. I sh*t you not, I see the bike is sitting exactly where it was left 4 months ago, untouched. The associate said, I'll jump on this right now and have it ready within an hour. I said calmly "cool, I'll grab some lunch and come back." I came back 2 hours later, he was sitting behind the desk doing absolutely nothing, and the bike still wasn't even touched!! I literally had to say I'm going to wait right here and watch you do this, so I can take my bike home. He did it in 15 minutes. The phone was ringing like crazy, with no answer (figures). Not one apology, or explanation was ever given. I wasn't charged for the labor, but Jesus.. How do you expect to survive running a customer facing business without doing the absolute bare minimum of effort to meet expectations? read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I took my board here the week before Christmas. When I returned to pick it up at the time we agreed on, they were closed. They were also closed a bunch during the holidays (reasonable). But this is the FIFTH time I've tried to pick it up. Every time I come, I check the store hours written in the window to know when to try again. Every time there is another note saying they are closed for a few days. On Saturday there was a note saying they are closed until Tuesday. Today is Wednesday but there is a not saying they are closed until midday tomorrow. Every time I call they don't answer, and there is no way to leave a voice-mail. Reaching out on social media has not produced any results. I just want my board back, work done or work not done. It's been almost three weeks. This isn't okay. read more

Warning do not use if you want good customer service or your equipment returned in a timely manner. I dropped my skis off on a Tuesday and told the guy I would need them back in a couple days because I had a trip planned for the following Monday. Guy said no problem that they usually take 24 hours. No call the next day so I try and call on Thursday. Answering machine full. Drive up there and they are closed at 11 am on New Years Eve and of course New Year's Day. Sign in windows says will open on Friday. I call (full again) and drive up again on Friday. Sign in window now says closed till noon Saturday. I drive up on Saturday and now there is a sign that say closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I guess my only option is to rent skis on my trip. Don't use these guys. The little money you save will cost you big in the long run. read more

Mixed experience... I needed a brake cable replaced. Good: 1. Quick week-day turn around, 2 hours 2. Reasonable price to change the brake cable ($15) Bad: 1. They 'installed' a slow leak in my tire. I found 2 goat head thorns in the tire. Looks like during the test ride those where 'installed' as no charge. Now I have to replace the tube. 2. $10 charge to tighten my headset 3. Wanted to charge $30 to install new chain. Suggestions for Owner: - check tires for thorns before leaving the shop, especially if you are test riding it. - when up-selling services, lets not overcharge for 2 minutes worth or work. I would have totally had the chain installed if it was $15-20 for a good quality chain. Plus, $10 is a lot just to tighten a headset. read more

On their website they claimed that they would pick up bikes, do the necessary work, and drop off at customers' houses. When we fist called, the guy who answered the phone said they didn't have a truck at the moment but he promised to get one by end of day. He didn't call back. We thought maybe he was too busy, so we called again. This time the guy said the truck was in Texas but he should have it back later that day or the next day. He would call. He never called. We understood there could be a problem getting a truck et al. But at least call your customer back. Or, don't offer to pick up and drop off. We live in the same city as these guys and would very much like to support local business. But we ended going to an out-of-town service that came the next day. read more

Stay away! It may be understandable for business which provides a service to over promise on occasion due to unforeseen circumstances. But there is no excuse or reason someone (Dana) should outright lie to a customer in an effort to replace parts needlessly and inflate the bill. Untrustworthy and should not be in business. read more

This is the antithesis of the friendly local bike shop. I walked in with my wheel and the guy with the scraggly beard YELLED at me for dripping a couple of drops of Stan's on his carpet, which was already filthy. He then wanted to charge me $10 just to inflate my tire. Needless to say, my dollars will be spent elsewhere. read more

They maybe a great shop, but when I called to get a quote on a bunch of gear to tune, they quoted $35 a pop. I asked for a volume discount and the guy on phone said no way. So I scooted on down to Broomfield Rentals and the skis were $16 and boards were $22 each. Competition is good, thank goodness we don't have government managed sporting goods. read more

They were very helpful in ordering some new accessories for my bike, and actually talked me into buying a cheaper headlight they thought was a better choice. Great shop with a friendly staff! Unlike some other shops around the area you can come into this shop with a ten year old clunker or a new carbon rocket ship and they treat you all the same. I went in there one evening recently around closing time, with my old snowboard, to see if I could find some replacement parts for my bindings (needed new ratchet straps - ladder straps - to replace worn out ones). Though they did not have the parts I needed, the two guys in there were very helpful and friendly. One even made a specific suggestion of another shop to go to that was more likely to have the parts I needed. Seems like a good small, friendly local business and I wouldn't hesitate to go back in there in the future. I'm glad to have it nearby. read more

I found out about this place from LivingSocial, I paid $37 for a bike tune up (after getting my bike about 5 years ago I didn't treat it very well--rust, flat tires, worn chains, askew handlebars, you get the drift). In two days they completely fixed it, and didn't add on any extra fees though I'm sure the bike wasn't completely covered by the plan. And best of all, they weren't snooty and pretentious like other bike places. If I had brought that bike in anywhere else I'd be laughed out of the store. This place was great! read more

These guys are great. I took my 15 year old mountain bike in for some major work. They explained everything to me, let me know what had to be done, what could last awhile longer and the actual cost was exactly what they had told me. They even re-adjusted the front derailer for free a few months later when it had loosened up a bit. I'm definitely going back to them with my bike in the future (skis, too). read more
