If you browse their online site, select this store, and choose "In Store" as well as "Pickup," it can save you some time by allowing the staff to find the product you wish to purchase so all you do is come inside to get it or check-in for a curbside pick-up order. I did this just today, and it was a breeze! It took only 44 minutes for me to get the email confirmation that my order had been processed and was ready for me to snag at my earliest convenience. If something comes up and you can't make it by that day, you have FOUR days to pick up whatever you've ordered. So convenient!

She returned the credit to a gift card and told me to download the app and go re order my cleats. and now I can't order them as it won't let me ship to the store. And shipping it to my house is 14$ more expensive. Everything from the online purchase, pick up ,return went great. Leaving me to basically fix the problem myself. It's a wonderland of products for an outdoor enthusiast: clothes and shoes for any activity, camping gear, biking gear, fishing gear, hunting gear and hats galore. They even have other miscellaneous items to keep non-adventurers excited like soaps, toys, dish towels, hot sauce, dog toys, etc. Truly, they have it all! And... it's all priced the same as REI. Plus, staff has always been helpful when I've asked questions. And... they allow dogs in their stores! It's been a great spot to take our pup to socialize. :D

Though I worked with Vail to reimburse me for their mistake, it was a gift card towards an EPIC Pass for this season, with no snow, so I've only ridden twice, and now I saw that they didn't just break my bindings, they also cracked my favorite of three boards I currently own. I also made them retrain their staff, and they posted signs. Tom, understanding all this, compassionately gave me a free wax & edge sharpen today (THANK YOU!), after I paid for one last year, given Lon told me i can trust Tom, and Lon is correct: Tom is trustworthy. When I take my old things there to put on consignment they are incredibly fair on the pricing and the people who work there are always friendly, knowledgeable, patient with me, and make it easy/enjoyable to do business with them. It's definitely the first place I go to shop for anything that's outdoor gear related. If you check out their website (that they frequently update) they list all of the different types of things that they are currently looking for people to bring in and put on consignment and you can check out some of the things that are for sale. A bonus for me is that they keep me out of the large/overpriced corporate outdoor gear stores plus I never have to deal with the hassle of listing things on Craigslist/Facebook Market Place and all the hassles that go along with that process. They definitely make my life easier and I feel lucky that they're part of our community.

Everyone I interacted with was SO nice and helpful and happy to talk about their niche firearms expertise. Today I learned about vintage muzzle loaders, shotguns, hunting rifle calibers, and recoil factors... and nobody was rude or condescending. The first guy I chatted with even helped me with my shooting stance and posture (admittedly terrible due to a disability), and asked each time if he could touch me to help with positioning. It was courteous, very helpful, and felt very respectful. 10000 stars for Lou! I was also very grateful to the rifle/hunting enthusiast who handles the buying (didn't catch his name) and brought so many rifles from storage for me to handle and decide on. I ended up trading a rifle that didn't fit me well for ... two. What can I say, hunting season is coming and I've been slacking! I interacted with at least 6 employees in the Gun Library throughout the interaction. I ended up having them set aside the rifle I wanted to buy, and I trekked home to retrieve the trade in rifle to save a bunch of $$ on taxes - great looking out by the staff! Despite being busy when I returned, they remembered me and had my rifle set aside. I had decided to buy a second one I'd been looking at and they pulled that one and its accessories for me as well. I dropped off my trade for them to look over, went browsing for a while and returned to do paperwork about a half hour later. It took probably another 30-45min to complete the trade in, purchase, and background check forms... yet another reason to buy multiple firearms in a single purchase - huge PITA! Important, of course, but it's time consuming. Cabela's of course has many other departments and I can't speak to those today, but I can very highly recommend the firearms section and the Gun Library in particular - they're one of the largest used firearm dealers in the BassPro family in the country and you can tell that with every interaction. Regarding value, there's so many factors in buying used that it's hard to give a helpful feedback. I am happy with the price of each purchase for their condition; one is new in box and was a good amount off retail. They offer discounts for law enforcement and active military (possibly also veterans?) and have occasional sales.

I had a small issue with on of my purchases a BCA tracker 2 avalanche beacon (one of my most important pieces of equipment) and not only did Kevin take care of it in a timely manner he did it without hesitation. BCA will be the only company I use for my safety equipment PERIOD!! They care about the customer and it shows.
