Foxy's had quick, terrific service. The food was extremely tasty. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning, and we were seated immediately on the patio. Our orders were taken promptly. The coffee was hot. I am very picky about my coffee and usually only drink it with my special creamer. I enjoyed the coffee I was served with the half-and-half provided. I had traditional Eggs Benedict, and my husband had the special Crabcake Eggs Benedict. Both were excellent. We have been coming to Foxy's for as long as I can remember. Every vacation, it is one of our first stops. Their pizza and wings is just like home (Buffalo). It is probably one of my favorite places. Their other food is good as well (breakfast and sandwiches). The prices have also been consistently reasonable. read more

Came around 5pm on a Friday and there were a few people already eating. They had a special for prime rib, salmon, and fried fish. Seemed like most people around us ordered one of those 3 so we did too. I got the prime rib. The prime rib came with mashed potato that is topped with cheddar (not melted) and vegetables which ended up being brussel sprouts. There was also 2 slices of texas toast given. The prime rib itself was tender in some spots but overall seemed old and came out cold. Texture gave off the feeling of sitting in a fridge where it's been sitting and not very fresh, dry too for medium rare order. Pretty salty throughout and over marinated. For 13.99 it was meh and I'd pass. The fried fish looked very good though and was a huge long strip for 10.99. Breakfast might be more their jam. read more

The food was average. The coffee was awful. It was watered down and had little coffee taste. It's a smaller restaurant and the tables are rather close together. My husband ordered the potato pancakes with over easy eggs and bacon. I ordered the eggs, hash browns and bacon breakfast. The potato pancakes were like big hash browns in a patty. Breakfast here is favored by my friend. My friend ordered a big breakfast. I asked the waitress about the house salad. I said, " It's not salad with with 2 tomatoes and a slice of cucumber on a bunch of lettuce Is it?" She said "No it has spring mix and a few things on it." I said, "cool I will try!" Our food arrives and my friend's plate looked very nice but to my regret I received an old school salad with bunch of Wilted lettuce, eactly 2 cherry tomatoes and exactly 2 cucumber slices (for 6.00)! The waitress returned later when my friend was almost done his meal so I decided to not order another plate since I had been eating off of his . I politely returned my salad. What was strange, the waitress acted like I personally offended her . No apology just a terse attitude. She didn't return to our table again except to drop the check and speed away. After visiting Treasure Island for almost 20 years we have passed right by this venue and never stopped. On our recent trip, we were viewing reviews and found Foxy's. After looking at the menu thought we would give it a try. This will definitely be a place we return to often on future visits. LOCATION: Foxy's cannot be any easier to find when visiting the island. They have a large, very brightly lit front facing the Causeway before getting to Gulf Blvd. As one of our pictures show if you are on the Causeway heading toward Gulf Blvd and are at the clock tower just look directly to your right. Plenty of reserved free parking in their large paved lot so no searching around for parking and trying to feed the meter here. FOOD: Foxy's has a very large and varied menu of almost anything you are looking for outside of fresh seafood. Everything we tried here was served hot and freshly cooked to order. It is not a gourmet place but for good food served well it is a great place. SERVICE: This is where Foxy's won us over. We originally sat outside on the sidewalk area which is very comfortable, has an awning to protect you from rain and has large ceiling mounted fans to help keep you cool. The area is well lit so you have plenty of light to read the expansive menu and to see your food. Our server was on top of everything and gave great recommendations. She was truly a 5-star server and easily could have beat many servers in some of the local 5-star venues we have eaten at. When another party sat at the table directly behind us they all five lit up cigarettes as soon as they sat down. Despite being an outdoor table the smoke was overwhelming and almost immediately my asthma began to flare up. I asked the server if we could relocate and without asking any questions she immediately offered us any table of our choice and brought our food, drinks, and utensils along even offering new plates. PRICE: By far this has been the most economical place we have eaten at while on the island. You get great portions at very good rates and the food is much better and much more cost effective than any fast food location you might find while offering a wide variety of options. In our opinion, you will not be able to beat Foxy's for Location, Service, Food, or Price so it is a place we will highly recommend and retu8rn to when on vacation here. read more

If I could give this a negative number , I would. The server (the owner's daughter) was hostile after being told she gave us a pizza with toppings we didn't order. She insisted we ordered the toppings but snatched the pizza away then brought it back stating that they "picked the mushrooms off and added more cheese". Our dissatisfaction with this entire scenario eventually got us thrown out and as we left, the server came to our car to continue arguing. Never in my life have I encountered such a situation. Needless to say, I will never go back and will certainly share my experience with anyone that cares to listen. I have to say the place was not my first choice. Wanted ricky Ts but covid shut em down. The place has a good location and I do not believe they are normally as busy as the other places. They have parking which is excellent. The food is average and the service was good. We had to be the last person to show up and they still took care of us. The wings were also good. The pork chop was good not liking the brussels or the potatoe pancake thing. Next time I would just do wings and maybe a pizza from this place. read more

I had to double check to make sure the reviews I saw were from the same place I ate this morning. I was out on Treasure Island and looking for someplace to stop for breakfast, the only reason I knew this place was there was because of the cars in the parking lot. There were a few tables out front, the couple who walked in the door ahead of me originally opted to sit outside and came back in within seconds. It's odd that the sign says "Please Wait To Be Seated" and then the waitresses, who are running around like chickens with no heads, tell you to take a seat at any open table. Being just one person I opted not to take one of the large tables that were still open and instead sat at the counter. First mistake, not a counter, its a bar and the lip is so deep that you had to hunch all the way over to eat. The place looks like its lost in the '70's with light wood paneling and mirrors on every wall. a HUGE flat screen TV behind the bar. Someone tossed a menu in front of me and asked if I wanted coffee, she wasn't my server, which really confused my server when she finally got caught up and came over. There were three waitresses who were absolutely slammed and could barely keep up. I sat quite a long time waiting to have someone take my order, I had the Polish Sausage and American Cheese Omelette ($6.79) it came with potatoes or grits and toast. I honestly wanted to ask about the Thursday Breakfast feature, the Breakfast Skillet but I didn't dare as she barely stopped to get my order after taking a takeout order next to me. The Omelette was actually pretty good, the Polish sausage had a lot of flavor and there was a good bit of cheese, but the home fires I ordered well done were barely warm and had ZERO flavor. The server asked if I wanted coffee and then never brought any, when she finally got caught up and brought me the check I left well enough alone, paid and left. The staff was friendly, service was as efficient as they could be since they seemed to be a bit shorthand. My fiancé and I both ordered omelets. They were light and fluffy. Coffee and tea were refilled in a timely manner. The only negative note of this visit was that one of the other guests was coughing through the whole experience. I used to love this place. After breakfast there this morning, I won't be back. The reason? The waiters do not wear masks. Masks would protect the customers from COVID -19 infection. The food was ok and Tables were properly distanced. Let me start by saying that the food was good and the service was good as well. Not fantastic but definitely okay. The main setback for me was the tight seating. The two of us were seated in between 2 older couples and then another older couple on the other side of one of them. As I was trying to enjoy my food all 3 of these elderly men started to blow their noses, one by one at the table. It was to the left of me, then to the right and then the 3rd table joined in. Ordered 2 eggs over easy, home fries, wheat toast and bacon. eggs made well, toast was fine and the Home fries were absolutely delicious. This will now be on my "return to" list. Arrived on Treasure Island on May 21, 2022 and was highly recommended by my resorts front desk. The high light was the grouper sandwich and fries!!! Absolutely delicious this my first time having grouper and I am pleased. The sandwich was not heavy it nicely seasoned, breaded and deep fried. My husband had the cheese pizza which was also delicious they make their own dough and use their own cheese. The finished pizza was lite and very cheesy.
