Great find! I have a Celiac kiddo and they have GF buns for their hotdogs and burgers, along with dedicated fryers for the fries. She was in heaven!!! Yummy food. Great prices. Definitely a new place for us to make a regular visit.

We ended up coming here because it smelled delicious & our noses didn't lie! The food really delivers! Most of the people I was with ordered burgers, myself included, they were awesome- really juicy. The fries are super crispy. I also highly recommend the coconut shrimp (I don't even like shrimp and loved them!)

We were loungin' at the beach across the street and decided to hop over for a quick bite. The place was super clean and so were the bathrooms. It wasn't crowded which was a huge plus! We were greeted politely and promptly. I ordered the grilled cheese and added bacon. I think it was called either the USA or the American! My husband ordered the Chicago dog. Both of our meals came with a side of chips. We LOVED our food. It was served nice and hot and it was made fresh. I was also watching, and the person making the food was wearing gloves and put a fresh pair on before he made our food which I LOVED. Nothing ruins a good meal like seeing an unhygienic cook. The waitress came and checked with us in a timely manner and chatted with us about our vacation. You could tell both employees valued their business and us stopping in! Definitely recommend this place!

Had the salmon burger this afternoon. Was very good. Put different dressings on the side to try. Their house made tarter sauce pairs well.

Good chill atmosphere. Food pricing a bit high, but portions are accommodating for them. Service is friendly.

Best burger and fries in John's Pass! We have a boat nearby and choose to walk here instead of going to closer places. Excellent food!

They had a fresh catch of grouper that day, so we decided to try the grouper nuggets. They're market price, but absolutely worth it. Even our friend preferred them over his fried fish. The batter was light, crispy, and delicious. Our kids ordered the bacon cheese fries and loved them. Just a heads-up: they use a nacho cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese, which some people may prefer to know ahead of time. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is brought in from up north, and our server's recommendation did not disappoint. The sandwich was rich, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the onion rings. They use a beer batter, which wasn't our favorite, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism. Overall, we'd definitely return if we're in the area again. The only downside was parking--$29.99 for two hours is pretty brutal. Thankfully, the food and atmosphere helped make up for it.

I wanted to eat outdoors or on the beach or both while the weather is fantastic and Caddy's delivered. We arrived right at 11am opening on a weekday so it was not yet busy and we could relax and chat without a scrambled, chaotic touristy scene. It's good to be a local sometimes! I've fished for grouper and it's not the easiest fish to catch. You need a boat, gas, time, expertise, experience and patience! It's a wonderful, perfect, fresh, local fish for eating though! Much respect to the local fisher-people! So, I ordered the grouper dinner, blackened. It had some nice mild seasoning on it but it's far from New Orleans style blackened. I think that style would likely be too spicy for some people. This preparation was safe. The rice was fine and the veggies were not overcooked. Parking at 11am was easy with valet or lot across the street options. Parking does fill up and reportedly, can be a significant challenge during peak hours. Life is good with lunch on a beach with a nice breeze!

4.5 Stars Rounded Up To 5…read more Caddy's on Madeira Beach has finally reopened. Yay! Yelp Elite All-Star Dave W suggested this restaurant for our regular lunch get together because he wanted something on the beach while the weather is nice. Good call Dave W! The weather was perfect for the outdoor balcony. They have a parking lot across the street ($5.50 per hour pay through the kiosk or an app). They also have valet parking @$5 an hour. Since we both arrived just before 11am opening time we had no trouble snagging one of the 20 or so parking spots at the Caddy's lot across the street, but when we came out the lot was full. The renovated location is up on stilts! I guess the back to-back hurricanes taught them a lesson. They also have a little beach type bar on the ground floor that they open whenever they have enough customers. They offer free beach chairs with shade by umbrella or tent, which is a pretty good deal, those can be expensive to rent. I started off with a signature specialty drink, the 'Loosey Goosey'. I chose the $15.99 Double shot drink, which has just the right kick for the beach. Drinks can be ordered with single, double, or triple shot, which is a brilliant idea. It arrived in a souvenir 'Mood' cup that turns pink with the cold contents. I mentioned that as a boy I would prefer blue, but our waitress, Lydianna, was not moved. Later I approached the bartender and asked for a blue cup, which she happily provided, so now I have one of each. I ordered the Surf Salmon ($13) And Steak Turf ($29.99). I told Lydianna that I like my steak so rare a good vet could save it, but ordered medium rare because you have to order meat that way in restaurants otherwise you get rare steak tartare. The steak came out perfect! I passed on the veggies because they included cooked carrots and doubled up on fries. This earned me a $1.77 substitution surcharge which I wouldn't have minded so much if Lydianna had mentioned it, But just like the pink cup, that didn't move her either. Other than those two little lapses she was a great waitress so it only cost Caddy's 1/2 star, and she still earned a good tip. Caddy's is on the beach, in a resort town, so I expected high prices. $80 for food & drink (Which includes large tip), & $11 for parking is about what I figured I'd pay. Good conversation with good friend Dave W: $Priceless!

The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was attentive, and the food definitely kept us coming back for another bite. Here are our favorites: Hangry Jen Pasta - The name says it all! This dish is huge and easily shareable. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Seafood Enchiladas - Loaded with seafood, incredibly flavorful, and topped with plenty of melted cheese. Cheese lovers will be in heaven. Petite Filet Medallions with Potatoes - The steak was perfectly tender and seasoned beautifully. The potatoes were the perfect complement and soaked up all the delicious flavors. Lobster Bisque - The standout of the meal! Every person at the table took a bite and immediately agreed this was a winner. Rich, creamy, and layered with spices that linger just enough to keep you thinking about your next spoonful. Onion Rings - Crispy, classic, and exactly what you'd expect from a good order of onion rings. Calamari - Lightly battered and cooked well. It wasn't my personal favorite, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed it. If you're in the area, Coco Wood Grill is definitely worth a visit. And if you're planning to go during peak dinner hours, I'd recommend calling ahead for a reservation. We'll definitely be back!

I called on a Monday evening for reservations for 8 people for the following Saturday evening at 6pm and requested the room near the bar. I was told no problem - they could put two tables together for us. She took my name and phone number and all was good. Saturday afternoon at 4pm I received a text from Coco's stating they could not seat 8 people in the bar area - 6 people is the most they can take. I explained what happened when I tried to use their online reservation app and it kept messing up that I called and spoke to someone there who I assumed was the hostess. She asked me for the persons name and I did not remember it (5 days earlier) The hostess on the phone didn't care and again stated that the largest party allowed in that room was 6 people. I asked why she waited until 2 HOURS before the reservation to call me and she said she and the other hostess came in that night at 4 pm and saw the reservations then. I asked her if she could seat us in the main dining room and she said no they could not. This is inexcusable and bad policy to not review reservations in advance in order to notify patrons of an issue. So Saturday night before Fathers Day, 8 people -4 dads-were left to hang out to dry.

While walking through the shops, we noticed this brewery on the second floor above several stores and decided to head up since we love craft beer. The space itself is very large, though it felt a bit emptier than we expected for such a busy tourist destination. Because of that, we weren't expecting much from the beer, but we were pleasantly surprised. The selections we tried were outstanding and easily exceeded our expectations. We didn't try the food, so we can only comment on the beer, but based on that alone we would definitely recommend stopping in. We've enjoyed their red sangria elsewhere, so we decided to check out their actual location for food and drinks. We typically prefer breweries with a more casual vibe, where you can relax with drinks and food without a strong "restaurant" feel or table service making us feel rushed. First, we had to pay for parking, which we hadn't expected, but it is a tourist area, so we understood. The food was just okay, and we felt our server was trying to rush us, even though we just wanted to unwind, chat, and enjoy our food and drinks. After only ordering 2 appetizers and 1 round of drinks, we were asked "alright you guys ready for your check" we mentioned we wanted a second round and when she brought that over she continued with "I'll be over in 10-15mins to check you guys out" and mentioned we just wanted to hang out for a bit and enjoy our drink. On the positive side, the place has a cute vibe inside, with outdoor and bar seating, plus some arcade games for kids. Would we go back if we're in the area? Yes, the drinkswere great and we'd be open to trying other menu items. But was it worth a special stop? Not really. TikTok @WorthTheStopp
