They had live music outside and a food truck, which was perfect since we grabbed some food while waiting for our reservation. The property is huge and beautiful. Customer care here is not care at all; it is throughput. The room is built for masses of young people who want to get drunk as fast and as cheaply as possible, then leave. The music is loud enough to erase talk, the lighting is harsh enough to hide the insincerity, and the staff moves like they're clearing a stadium, not hosting a house. Slate Theory broke the mold on Texas Wineries... and that mold should not have been broken. The feel is nothing but a cheap turnstile of get young people in, get them drunk, and get them out in order to make room for more fools who dare visit. If you appreciate life, do not step foot in here as you are not a welcomed guest... but only a number as it's just another stop on a night that never asks anyone to stay long enough to matter.
