If you're looking for a standout wine-tasting experience in Fredericksburg, Barelle Vineyards is where it's at! We came here recentlyfor a bachelorette party, and after just having a terrible experience at Augusta Vin, Barelle completely turned our day around. Randy was our server, and he was AMAZING. He made sure we had a blast throughout our entire visit, totally redeeming the day for the bride. The wine? Fantastic! We all fell in love with one of their Rosés -- easily one of our favorites of the day. Plus, we had a private room all to ourselves, and it was the cutest space, with a charming book wall and unique rustic decor. It made the whole experience feel intimate and perfect for our group. I also love that Barelle is a woman-owned vineyard, and all the wines they produce and serve come from female winemakers. It's such a great touch that makes me want to support them even more. All in all, Barelle Vineyards nailed it for us. Great wine, an amazing vibe, and fantastic service. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and I'll definitely be back!

We LOVE barelle!!! Laura ann and her husband are always so good to us and make us feel right at home! It's very calm in here and just very relaxed all the way around. The charcuterie board is AMAZING. And of course the wine!

I surprisingly really enjoyed this place! It is a collective of different vineyards from women winemakers. I'm usually not a fan of collectives, but this one changed my views! We each had a different tasting so we could sample more of a variety. They had an excellent selection and we didn't try a single bad wine! The ambiance was relaxing and casual, allowing for easy conversations. Laura Ann guided us through our wine journey. She was an absolute delight! She was an added bonus to an already great experience! If you're in the area, this is an excellent place to check out!

We had an incredible time last night with Brandon! He was very knowledgeable, accommodating and kind! We love that it is woman owned and run! They put our quality products and hire amazing staff! The ambiance was comfortable and we enjoyed every minute being there for the tasting! We are excited to go back as the newest members of the wine club!

Y'all, this place is a new gem!! I would highly recommend a stop here. It's not even officially on the list for the 290 wine shuttle yet, but since it's on the same property as fiesta, you can visit it too. When we got on the shuttle, someone handed us a flier for a free charcuterie board, and sure enough they brought out the board when we started our wine tasting and it was delicious. The wines are all made by female wine makers. Our sommelier Randy was the best sommelier of the day and he gave great descriptions of each tasting. He was super friendly! The wines were very good on the red wine tasting. The place itself is super cute! They have plenty of spaces perfect for taking pictures and the cutest rooms for lounging with a glass of wine. We'll be back!

Great spot to end our 290 Wine Shuttle adventure! The hostess at Barelle Vineyards tasting room was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us an awesome tip so we can save $ while getting the best bottle of wine. We got a cute cozy corner to enjoy our rose and wind down from the day's excitement and activities! Definitely a must visit if you're in the 290 Wine Trail!

My favorite wine there at the moment.

This is a rare, beautiful, inside seating, tasting room with so much charm. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. The service is great and the experience is memorable. The wine is thoughtfully selected, featuring female wine makers that had achieved some sort of accolade or they came highly recommended by the industry. There is also a beer tasting option for those friends that join but aren't wine connoisseurs. If you are into Instagram or just want beautiful pics to commemorate your visit, this place has plenty of opportunities. Beautiful enough to host an intimate bachelorette group or rehearsal event. There's tasty bites to nibble (charcuterie and whatnots). A "must stop by and see for yourself" spot. You'll want to come back and share with your family friends. I am hosting my birthday party here and will post pics after! Stay tuned. Updated: Check out the birthday pics and oh I made a new discovery.... The award winning pimento cheese!!!!!! I don't even like pimento cheese but this, this is the best pimento cheese I've ever had in my life! Gift worthy.

Best spot on the block. Amazing staff, not pushy, generous with tastings and pours. Amazing indoor and outdoor seating and decoration. Great personal experience for small or larger groups. Lots of patience and friendly banter. such pretty decorations and seating options. Can't say enough good things!

The Fred area now features several wineries showcasing non-Texan styles--including Coordinates (South African) and Calais (Texas grapes with a French influence). Be sure to read up on the fascinating family history behind this winery! We sampled a variety of their reds, and every single one was full-bodied with its own distinct personality. The Cab Black was highly complex with lovely hints of oak. Their Chianti, the Costaveccia, was a traditional, high-end Chianti --dense yet smooth, and something I can easily envision pairing with my Sunday sauce. Another favorite was the Nero d'Avola, which drank incredibly smooth with a perfect balance of fruit and tannins. We were so impressed with their wines that we left with several bottles and a new wine club membership. The tasting room itself is bright, cool, and comfortable, complemented by a great patio, a spacious members' area, and a large function hall for events. Service throughout our visit was exceptional; the knowledgeable sommeliers expertly guided us through our five tastings. If you are a fan of Italian wines, then do plan a visit to Andreucci.

At that time, there was nothing going on and nothing growing so we decided to come back around when spring was happening. So this time around, definitely more popular, more cars and people wanting to check the place out. Essentially I was expecting this to be more of a field of flowers. But, it's basically that (although there wasn't much of it yet, just some flowers to see) and garden decor, pots, gifts, wine, pickled things, plants and LOTS of wildflower seeds to plant at home. The plants, some were decently priced, most were a little pricier. Just depends on which ones. Majority of the ones we wanted were a little better price wise vs going to home depot, at least we think so! We walked around the adventure trail (since it was free) to get some steps in and have the kids burn some of their energy out while roaming around (minus my toddler, she would want to run away and fast haha so I changed my mind on that idea). The trail itself was open, spacious and a great way to get some fresh air. You can be lucky enough to catch some glimpses of some flowers that could be sprouting out even though there's not much! The shops: they had different types of store fronts, one for food/snack/pickled items alongside a small cafe where you can order beer and wine, another for more accessories, clothing and some planting items too! They had standing wine tasting area near the trail walking area if you want to walk around with some wine. Parking: so much parking, so definitely not to worry although I can image it being more difficult when the flowers really bloom in their field.
