Warning! We used 3g Chimney at the end of last season to clean flue for our wood stove insert. Long…read morestory short, first burn this year we had a chimney fire. Alex, the same employee of 3g as last year came out to inspect. He apologized and said he missed the top of our chimney where we had a creosote build up. Turns out he didn't go on our roof last year! Alex chiseled the creosote out (firemen told us it was 99% clogged) and Alex said the owner of 3g would be in touch about the needed repairs. Despite calls, 3g never came back. Our stove is disconnected and damaged. So is the top of the chimney. While we are fortunate not to have lost our lives, pets or house, this is absolutely unacceptable. We will be making an insurance claim at this point and I expect them to pursue 3g for damages.

The weather has been absolutely perfect for driveway work. As far as I know, no one has been by. For certain no one has contacted us. For certain no one has done anything in the driveway. No excuses, City Paving. We held a family meeting, I called one last time this morning-2 busy signals and a no answer. The address on the contract is a private residence, not an office. We will pay for another company to come and repair City Pavings workmanship issues before the freezing weather sets in and further damages the driveway. It is a shame we already recommended them to other people. That will never happen again. Oh well, live and learn. Update- So, after 4 months someone came by and looked at it. Says they will be back when the weather is warmer...sigh....it was warmer when we started calling, but whatever. I guess I will cancel the other company. Your service technician as soon as I explained the problem *this is what the majority of this 15 minute call was about* he went straight to excavating and said any other way would not fix it. Pricing was mentioned right after the problem was discussed. As I mentioned in my original review at no point did i never had an issue with pricing, the service technician REFUSED to come and view my property and the issues prior to giving me any form of quote to make sure what he was suggesting for repair was what was actually needed. THIS is why I rated this company what I did in the original review as well as why we chose to go elsewhere for a price that was higher but at least they came and viewed the damage first before making an assessment. I would also wonder how an assessment of my call was done with your technician when he called me from a cell phone and no one ever stated a call was recorded.

Some highlights:: They mow the lawn beautifully, and I appreciate that they skip weeks in the hottest part of the summer when the grass stops growing--saving us money and protecting the lawn. They sprayed for ticks and completely eradicated our horrific tick infestation. At a price considerably less than the other specialized providers. The fertilization program is really turning our lawn around. They plow the driveway, shovel our walks and put down ice melt as needed. We've had no problems with damage or timing. On top of all of this, they're very responsive and their pricing is more than competitive. Delighted to say we have finally found a professional yard maintenance contractor that exceeds all of our expectations.
