Tasty Cold Brew
Edward K.

I was in the area with my daughter. She got coffee somewhere else and I walked extra to get to Frame. I did this because the Yelp menu photos included pour over coffee. They no longer have pour over coffee. I take the blame on that, I should have looked at their website. Otherwise, staff is pleasant. Place is modern and clean. Seating and bathroom were nice. Cold brew was smooth and tasty.

Chai

Delicious croffle! The chai was tasty- well spiced. I'm not the biggest fan of chai but this was solid. Not too sweet and well balanced flavors. I loved the croffle! I would come here for the croffle alone! Delicious. A slightly crisp outside and soft interior. Buttery and delicious! Not too sweet either! Perfectly acceptable as a breakfast food. Would highly recommend! Seating was a bit hard to find but me and my sister were able to snag a table after waiting a little bit for our drink. We were right by the door and it was a bit drafty. I will definitely be returning to try their coffee and croffle sandwiches!

Cozy interior with a good amount of seating. I met my friend here around 9am on a chilly Sunday morning and had our pick of tables, but that didn't stop it from getting super busy later on. I got the Choco Matcha Latte, which was really enjoyable and unique. I appreciated the no laptop policy for weekends. There's also a small bathroom. Would definitely come back!

This was my first time at this coffee shop. The store was extremely crowded on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a matcha latte and it came out quickly. It tasted really good. The cafe was pretty loud due to how crowded it was, but I would sit here to catch up with friends if there were seats available.

Super cute coffee shop! They have a little camera you can take a pic on and put it on their picture wall. I love a coffee shop that has specialty coffees, my friend got the brown sugar latte was so sooo good & I had a nice dirty chai. It's a tight space but there's a decent amount of seating if you're trying to hang w a friend or get a little work done. I didn't try any food but they had some really good looking waffles.

Deliciously roasted coffee beans!! En Yew coffee and cappuccinos were perfect!! Bold but not too harsh with bitterness. Quick service & cute atmosphere, cozy. Their Waffles are the best I've ever had too!! I was impressed!! So impressed that I forgot to take a picture!

really cute cafe and has lots of tables to do work, study, with fast wifi and lots of outlets. i ordered the matcha latte and it was veerrrry mid. barely any matcha, very watery, and no flavor of matcha coming through. would not come here for matcha but coffee and other drinks look good.

Croffles
Rebecca S.

I had never had a croffle before visiting Frame, I have since tried them elsewhere as Frame got me hooked, but I can say theirs is the best one I've had so far! I got one plain and one with egg and cheese, both were divine. Also recommend the summer iced teas. Cute place for a coffee date or to get some work done!

I stopped by Frame Coffee on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy, but the energy was great. The coffee I ordered was smooth and flavorful. I do wish I had been asked if I wanted it to stay or to-go so I could've enjoyed it in a mug, but honestly, it still tasted great, so no major complaints. The theme of the café is what really sets this place apart. It's stylish, well-curated, and the Photo Booth is such a beautiful touch--it adds a fun, creative element that really ties into the whole "frames" concept.

This cafe is so cute and has great coffee!! It's quite small, but very cozy and nice. I also love the photo printer they have on the side! It's a free black and white photo on a paper and you can take some very cute and quick photos! I loved it; such a great touch!

Good coffee shop. Was so crowded on Sunday. Matcha latte was pretty good. And the waffle had nice caramelization and wasn't too sweet. I liked the photo thing they have too.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

We started with a bottle of the Alsace wine, which perfectly complemented our food and the Parisian vibe. I opted for the omelette with Gruyère which was delicious, although I found myself very full by the end, as it came with two sides. The fries were a must-have -- so crispy, salty & fresh. I'd recommend that at least one person at the table order them, but the portion is pretty generous. :) The service was nice, albeit a bit slow at times. However, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere is chill -- we weren't in a rush at all! Sitting at a booth in the back, we had the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy our meal, making for a lovely brunch with friends or family.

Amazing Creme (Croux) Puffs!!!…read more I got the green tea, black sesame, & earl grey. The cream filling is very generous and the pastry isn't too thick. Loved the outside flavoring. We had the raspberry tart and the milk cloud cake. Price points were very high, even for midtown pastries. I enjoyed the milk cloud cake because of the black tea infused cream really came through. The other bits in it were not as impressive--the small chocolate bits were dry and this viscous layer in it (tapioca?) lacked taste. The raspberry tart was very adorable with two macarons. The tart shell was a bit dry and crumbly, but if you like raspberry the flavor does come through in the filling. The staff weren't warm in any way, but we're in midtown which tends to be hectic, and we were there at the end of the day so it's not a dealbreaker or anything really egregious. The place isn't very spacious for seating, so unless you're coming at a time that isn't busy, you might not get a seat/I'd plan around getting your sweets to go. That was no problem for me this time around, though. Overall this place is cute, and if you're looking for an Asian-inspired treat in midtown before a broadway show (Wicked is nearby) this could be an option for you. I just wouldn't expect it to particularly standout in terms of price and quality.

I always get almond croissants from coffee shops but wow this one has to be one of my favorites. The crunchy (sugar?) top coating and the filling were delectable. I got one of the seasonal spring drinks, called "Karl" which is a banana cold brew with cold foam. I don't even like cold brews since they tend to be super strong and pretty bitter, and banana can be a hit or miss, but I enjoyed the hell out of this drink. It was a bit sweet, which I like, and the cold brew itself had a banana flavor when I had just expected it to come from the cold foam. I didn't sit or stay inside as I had to go to work, but there are a few (maybe 5 I think?) chairs along a bar counter on the side. Plants in the window too which I love. The barista was nice and made the drinks quickly despite being there by herself early in the morning (or at least I didn't see another employee). I recommended this place to my coworkers and can't wait to go back and try the other drink options!

Theres a shared bar table along one wall with high top chairs and menu options at the counter + a chalkboard with seasonal drinks. I left with a Balthazar Bakery box with 4 items. The 2 Everything pastries were filled with what looked like spinach and cheese. Incredible when reheated, but I wish they were served warm. The cinnamon roll was good, but not standout. The pain au chocolat was tender and flaky. Some of the seasonal drinks, like the Grinch, looked really good and I'd come back to try one, but I likely wouldn't swing for a pastry this time.
