I ordered the s'mores supreme croissant and a 20 ounce Korean iced coffee. The coffee was extremely bitter and honestly it was not satisfying. I did throw it out after a couple drinks. Paris Baguette is a neighborhood bakery café, bringing expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to the community. Their bakers, cakers, and baristas serve up handcrafted cakes, freshly baked pastries and breads, delicious Lavazza coffee, and more. One thing that really stood out is their PB Rewards program. It's super easy to join via their app, and you earn 1 point per $1 spent toward free pastries, drinks, cake slices, and more and i even got a free pastry just for signing up. I ordered a chai latte and my free strawberry croissant pastry filled with soft custard cream and strawberries, dusted with powdered sugar. The strawberry croissant had fresh strawberries and cream and it was the perfect breakfast after a run in Central Park. The second visit was to take advantage of their BOGO cake slice deal through the rewards app. It's a fun way to explore their cake selection without paying full price. I ordered the Blueberry chiffon cake slice filled with soft cream, topped with blueberry yogurt soft cream and blueberries and the strawberry soft cream cake slice, a vanilla cake filled with soft cream and fresh strawberries, topped with more berries. Service was friendly and the line moved quickly. Prices are typical for midtown NYC, but all the reward app perks make it more reasonable. We stopped by Paris Baguette this morning for breakfast and were immediately delighted by the pastry selection, the self-serve display, and how quickly we were able to move through and pay. The setup was efficient, visually appealing, and felt promising. Unfortunately, that's where the delights ended. We picked up a ham and cheese croissant, a mango-filled donut, a rice vanilla donut, a prosciutto fig and goat cheese breakfast sandwich, as well as a sausage croissant, hot dog croissant, a hash brown croissant, and a latte. While the variety was amazing, everything except the ham and cheese croissant tasted stale--as in several days old. The flavors were bland, and the texture made it clear these were not freshly baked. The latte was machine-made rather than pulled as an espresso shot from a barista, which also contributed to a lack of flavor and freshness. In hindsight, I wish I had known that many of the baked goods are likely frozen, premade, and stored rather than freshly baked onsite each day--especially given how much we ended up spending for breakfast. The store itself is convenient and visually appealing, but the food quality simply didn't match the price. Unfortunately, we wouldn't return. read more

I stopped by to grab some bakery items on a Wednesday early afternoon. The seating area is limited and surprisingly crowded for the time. After grabbing my items, I brought them up to the cashier to ring them up. When she was putting the items into the register, she randomly added multiple additional items to the order that we did not grab. It overinflated our cost by ~25%. Thankfully, they show you what is being rung up so I was able to point it out and she updated the order correctly. However, this is a good lesson that if you shop here, make sure you are keeping an eye on what is being rung up so you don't get overcharged. In terms of food, unfortunately, the quality over the last few times I've been coming here vs the past few years does not seem as good as it previously has been. All in all, just make sure they are ringing your items in correctly and not overcharging you! read more

I've been to Paris Baguette in Philly and Orlando but NYC is my favorite. I ordered the Cherry Greek Yogurt Danish, Croissant Donut and Strawberry Smoothie! It's something about the water in NYC that makes the baked goods taste better. I fell in love with the Strawberry Smoothie. I wish I can have this every day. The service was good. I'm really trying hard to think why this should 5*. Ok, the location is very busy in K'Town, the shop is not overly large but works, place is relatively clean, and service is very good. I just can't make it an overall 5* for the entire experience but would rate most all of the individual pastries a 5* for sure. Just walk in and you will pass the many fresh and creative pastries. Grab a clean tray and fork and you serve yourself. Bring it to the service counter where you can order your Lavazza coffee (definitely 5*) and either take away or sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch or snack. It's my go too when mid-town. My wife and I were craving something sweet after dinner, and somehow we ended up at Paris Baguette on 32nd Street. Honestly, we just meant to browse, but those pastries were calling our names like we owed them money. We ordered two Almond Croissants, one Jumbo Twisted Donut, and one Cheddar Cheese Twist. Zero regrets. The almond croissants were so buttery and flaky that we were finding crumbs hours later in our hotel room. The Jumbo Twisted Donut was soft, fluffy, and big enough to share ... but did we share? Absolutely not. And the Cheddar Cheese Twist was the perfect savory balance because, you know, balance is important when you're eating dessert for dinner. The staff were friendly and quick, even with the late-night crowd. The displays looked so good I had to remind myself this was a bakery, not an art museum. Lol The ambiance is clean, modern, and cozy - perfect for sitting, chatting, or contemplating why you didn't order more pastries. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Can't believe my review was a decade ago, back when I was just here for business trips! I've been living here and a US citizen now and safe to say it's been almost a decade-long affair! One thing I will say is, if it comes down to only one thing that I will get from here and never elsewhere, it would be their Coffee Bun! Today I tried their hot Pistachio latte paired with the coffee bun. The coffee bun was fantastic as always but the pistachio latte unfortunately was sub par, felt very fake, chemical-tasting. I almost wanted to return it for a refund but just decided not to, didn't finish it, barely touched it. Hopefully they can improve this, not a big fan of another Korean bakery nearby but their Pistachio Latte is fantastic. Maybe they can try them for research to improve their formula. Other than this, pretty satisfied, staff have been friendly, they have a restroom (just not consistently clean), and I like that they have an app and a rewards program. P.S I've seen instances of experienced homeless people entering and just grabbing breads without paying, immediately putting it in their large bags. I stopped by this shop to get some pastries. I recently installed the Paris Baguette app on my phone and wanted to redeem a reward; buy 1 pastry and get the 2nd one free. I couldn't pass it up since it was going to expire this Wednesday. This shop is located in Koreatown and is kinda hidden but I found it. Right when you enter the shop, you see display cases of pastries on the right and left side. I picked up my new favorite pastry - the citrus croissant donut and a new one called the red bean choux cream pastry. They were both delicious. The service was good. I stopped in for lunch. The coffee was mediocre, but above all, there was negative ambiance with a thunderous construction sounding noise coming from the rear of the cafe. I ended up leaving early. I regretted to tell them it was killing the environment, drowning out the music and making conversation impossible. It's been a long while since I came here... I came here in the early morning recently (in the past 2 months) and this morning (on the way to work). This is the second early morning visit (around 6:30-6:45AM) when I found myself craving a bakery bun. This is one of the only Asian bakery open early in the area. Both visits this year (in october and this morning) I came looking for certain bakery items to find only a few ready in the display case. All items were not labeled, and I had to play the guessing game based on appearances (I failed). I would get to the register and ask the lady what the items are, and if it's wrong, I would say I only want the other items. There are tongs, trays, and parchment paper available, which I always use. All items are baked fresh and look so good. I just wish they put out the signs to label each pastry to prevent any allergens and other issues. I believe they label it later in the morning, but I usually get there after 6:30AM, and the shop is open at 6AM. On my visit last month, I wanted a curry bun, but there was two, and I didn't know which was which. I nabbed both to the register and inquired, which is which. One was a crab curry bun (I'm allergic), so I couldn't have it. The other was the regular curry bun, which had limited fillings inside (disappointing).
