If you want to try some unique pizzas Francesco Martucci is the place. We tried Onion one with Seven interpretations of onion, creamed, fermented, crispy, burnt, onion mayonnaise, onion jam, onion gel, fior di latte. Unusual, but you should to try once in your life. Service was great. I liked the atmosphere inside the restaurant it very contemporary with a wine elevator.

I was on my way to miami airport and stopped here for an early dinner. I enjoyed my meal here. I tried the pizza and the lobster pasta. Both were excellent. I didn't care for their free appetizer. It looks like a plant so presentation is great but didn't taste good. See photos.

the hype is real for the pizza here. there are several pizzas to choose from, with varieties ranging from classics to house specialties. the wine list is also top notch with several quality italian wine options at reasonable prices. the ambiance is great for a date, business dinner, or a book club ! you cant go wrong here, but we highly recommend the 7 onion pizza (dont knock it til you try it) . cant wait to go back and actually try something other than pizza (though it will be hard to figure out which pizza NOT to order for the next time). complimenti allo chef!

Had to check this place out once I heard about it. The vibe is really nice here. I loved the atmosphere. The food was also pretty delicious including the pizza and Cod that we had. The service was subpar. The server did not seem interested and engaged and was not helpful with the menu. I also gave this place 4 stars because portion sizes are very small and not worth the price.

Had the pleasure of having dinner at Francesco matucci crowns the best pizza chef in the world. When it comes to pizza there's tons of different styles so take that and to that point he makes amazing Neapolitan style pies. I went with a group of 10 and had an amazing intimate private dinner in a hidden room almost speakeasy like. With such a big group we basically created our own tasting menu. Trying 7 different versions of his pies, two versions of frittatina and tortelli cacio e pepe. While all great in their own way in my opinion the pizza that stood out the most was the futuro di marinara, first baked then fried dough is soft as a cloud but also has a nice crisp towards the crust. With just one bite I had a blast of umami in my mouth that still shocks me and just for that pizza alone I'd go back to this place any day.

    Outrageous tip included.

What a mess. This was heading toward 2.5 stars... until the grand finale. We walked in genuinely excited. Cool, hip vibe. Very "see and be seen." Busy, but not packed. The kind of place that wants you to know it's important. The evening began with an amuse-bouche that looked like a charming little potted plant. Cute concept. Unfortunately, it tasted like something you'd scrape out of a compost bin. As we glanced around the room, we noticed the same universal expression at every table: polite confusion followed by regret. Next up: Frittatina Come una Mafalda. If you've ever had the deep-fried mac and cheese bites from Costco, congratulations, you've had a superior version. This was hard, overcooked, and impressively bland. Quite a feat, honestly. Then came the Insalata di Funghi Assoluti. The fried mushrooms on top were lovely. The rest of the salad, however, had been absolutely baptized in a dressing so aggressively mediocre that it smothered any trace of mushroom or vegetable beneath it. Now for the headliner: Le 7 Consistenze della Cipolla. Allegedly their signature. For a mere $38, you receive what is essentially an 8-inch personal onion pizza. The pickled onions didn't "accent" the dish; they staged a hostile takeover. The crust was greasy, the flavors never harmonized, and the whole thing felt like seven different ideas arguing with each other. We were disappointed, but prepared to chalk it up to hype. Then the bill arrived. Automatic 20% service charge. Plus a 20% tip line. A casual 40% before you've even blinked. That took this from a 2.5-star "not for us" to a firm 1-star experience. The service was good. It was not "luxury yacht crew on Monaco Grand Prix weekend" good. As we left, we noticed nearly every table had unfinished food boxed up. Portions were small, and enthusiasm was even smaller. We chatted with the two tables next to us. Same verdict across the board: overrated, overhyped, overpriced, and underwhelming. If they want staying power, they might start by rethinking both the tipping policy and the kitchen. We won't be back. And neither will anyone we know.

Last night my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Francesco Martucci in Miami, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. We began with the arancino, and from the first bite, the flavors transported me straight back to Catania and Taormina. It carried that authentic Sicilian depth -- balanced, comforting, and beautifully executed. For the main course, she ordered the Parmigiana pizza frita, and I had the Capricciosa Secondo Martucci pizza al forno. These pizzas are, without exaggeration, among the best I have ever tried. The dough was delicate, airy, and perfectly structured. You could taste the freshness in every ingredient -- nothing felt heavy or overdone. The balance between tradition and refinement was evident. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, presented in a creative and elegant way that elevated a classic without losing its identity. Our server, Walter, was Italian, friendly, and highly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations and explanations added depth to the experience. The ambiance is chic, very Miami, yet tasteful. The décor is intentional, modern, and well thought out. It feels like a destination. Yes, the pricing is on the higher side. But when you're talking about one of the best pizzaioli in the world, the quality justifies the cost. This place absolutely deserves recognition -- it should be on the Michelin Guide radar. Recommendation: Adding valet parking would be a great future enhancement. I understand the restaurant is new, but it would complement the overall premium experience. A memorable night, authentic flavors, and a restaurant worth revisiting.

Excellent vibe and fantastic service. I'm confident he will dial in a few of the kinks with the pizzas over time. We tried the artichoke pizza and a tomato pizza. Flavor-wise, we preferred the artichoke pizza, while the tomato pizza really shined in structure. The artichoke pizza had incredible taste, but the center was a bit wet and soggy and tended to drip. The crust wasn't quite firm enough and didn't have the same thick, well-defined edge that made the tomato pizza so outstanding. The tomatoes on the tomato pizza were delicious, and the crust was absolutely amazing.

We went to Italy during the spring and had this restaurant on my list to visit but due to our schedule we could not visit. But to my surprise they opened one in Miami. Recently the restaurant t received a Michelin award so it was time to visit. The decor of the restaurant is very pretty. Our server, she was Italian, so that made it better to order and understand if menu has authentic Italian ingredients. And it did! On the beverage side they have crafted drinks, an extensive products of wine from Italy and also USA. We asked the server for the best dishes and that is what we order. Everything, when I say everything was fresh and transported me to the flavors of Italy. The pizza to die for, the pasta, the special of the day and the Affogato (which is home made gelato) was superb. I am being very honest it's on the high price for pizzas but worth it. I am so happy this restaurant is in Miami. We have a slice of Italy right here in our city. If you plan to attend make reservations. They only open for dinner.

This place was the perfect first night in Wynwood, we got to our hotel late and were tired and hungry from traveling all day. We Got there 10 minutes before the kitchen closed but they were willing to seat us and serve us anyways. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and it did not disappoint. The servers were so kind, joking and laughing with us, making us feel so welcome, and the manager (we believe) came over and talked to us to see how things were going. We ordered an Affogato and it was AMAZING. At the end of the dinner we were given complimentary lemoncello and it was the perfect end to a great evening. We will be going back next time we're in the area.

Came to visit this place while we were passing by in Miami . Street level entrance . Street Parking . Food served quickly . We had a fettuccine pasta - tomato's with lobster dish . Pretty flowers on dish. Then a pizza that was fried then baked with tomato's etc tasted great. Friendly staff . Family - friends atmosphere .

Sergio F & Italian food...goes without saying!…read more I came by with a group of friends Saturday night for sustenance after weekend activities in downtown and the beach. La Leggenda had been in my to try list, and finally had a chance to do so this weekend. We liked the fact that our waiter regularly checked on us, even resolving an issue with one of the glasses as soon as we pointed it out. Oh and having a corner table by the window to enjoy the Española Way street scene to perfection! The three of us decided to share two pizzas: their Margherita STG and the "Regina". Both had a perfectly thin and airy crust. The fresh basil and melted mozzarella do indeed make their margherita pizza truly award winning. The Regina Pizza was topped with a nice helping of perfectly salty prosciutto as well as baby tomatoes and greens. We also asked for extra sauce and chili oil which made the pie even better! Of course, there was dessert! With its crumbly graham cracker crust, creamy ricotta cheese and pear pieces this dessert made for a sweet ending and was enough to be shared between the three of us.

I usually avoid ordering pasta, it's just not my thing but their spicey 3 cheese fusili is killer! We love the pepperoni pie with onion. Sometimes we'll let the server pick our toppings just to experiment. Their Kale Caesar is delicious as well. Highly recommend the Mozzarella sticks. See cheese pull featured on photos. What's really neat is that this a NY based restaurant that people usually wait in line to try and get it but here on the beach we've never waiting more then 10-15min to be seated. Service overall is timed well. We never wait to be attended to and food always come out hot. Atmosphere is relaxed and not pretentious at all. Family friendly for sure and there are booths for small parties of 5-6. We love it there.

So my very high level of anticipation may certainly be partially to blame for my average-ish experience. I was pleasantly surprised to get a table with no wait at ~6:30 on a Wednesday evening. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices were high, as expected, but at least the pizzas are of reasonable size. The $32 pasta portion probably could've been a bit more generous. But anyway, on to why we're all here - The Pizza: The crust had a great crunch but I felt lacked nuance beyond that, no chew and a touch on the dry side. Cheese and sauce were fine but also unremarkable. The heaps of basil provided some bright freshness that was definitely appreciated. I feel even more compelled now to try the NYC location for comparison! This wasn't a bad pizza by any stretch but not something I would ever pick over my favorite NYC standouts.
