    Mia and Nova Blu

I'm looking for the button with 100 stars, because that is what Dr. Bekhet deserves. Along with his amazing team, Dr. Bekhet has earned the title, in my book, of the most well versed, compassionate, kindest Veterinarian I have ever met. He is highly qualified and generous with his knowledge. He won't hesitate to describe treatment pros and cons and is reassuring that he will try his best. He was honest when he spoke of the challenges that might arise with my sweet dogs, Nova Blu and Mia. Last year Mia had a corneal ulcer, he saved her eye. Last month our Nova Blu had to have emergency surgery. Dr. Bekhet went above and beyond to save her life. In the first few days post surgery, I received phone calls from the Dr. checking on her recovery progress. My husband and I couldn't have asked for more! Without hesitation, hands down, the best Veterinarian and staff that I have ever taken any of my pets to. Jimmy and I highly recommend Dr. Bekhet and his team! Thank you!! Sally and Jimmy

I brought my little yorkie (HazeI) to Francis Animal Clinic. She was in labor for several hours. At this point, I noticed that she was going into complications. She couldn't give birth anymore at home. I contacted Francis Animal Clinic. I explained what was going on. I rushed her into the office. It was the best decision ever. They quickly responded to giving her all the help she needed in order save her & her puppies. She underwent a emergency C-section at the clinic.  Dr Bekhet performed the C-section & helped deliver all her puppies safely. Im filled with tears of joy knowing that the Mommy & her pups made it through .Thanks to the help of Dr. Bekhet & his staff.  Hazel is doing well & is home recovering with her 3 beautiful puppies. It's a miracle & a blessing. Thank you so much, Francis Animal Clinic & a special thanks to Dr. Bekhet. You're the best.

I took my elderly cat here because she was having diarrhea, vomiting as well as rapid weight loss, as you can imagine this is a serious concern! The vet saw her, they ran tests and gave me medication for the symptoms and told me I will hear back in 1 or 2 days. I didn't hear anything so I called on the 3rd day, I was put on hold for about 20 minutes so I had hang up and call back, when they finally pick up, I am told there was a "slight delay" with the results and that the doctor is going to call me, I asked when and then I am told the doctor won't be back until Sunday... You guessed it, Sunday comes around and nothing. I spent the whole day trying to get answers, at some point I was put on hold just to get hung up on. Finally, they tell me the doctor will call at around 4 or 5 pm, 5:15 pm comes around, I call, They are now closed! Next day, which is today, I call and they are just not picking up the phone, I am guessing they are closed. Tomorrow will be 1 whole week since they saw my cat, I got no answers, my cat is still sick and I am left feeling like my beloved cat is just a $ money sign for them.

The facility is spotless, and the staff was very friendly and efficient, getting my senior dog checked in and into an exam room immediately. Dr. Alvarez took the time to walk my wife and me through a thorough care plan and gave us invaluable tips on monitoring our senior girl for preventive care. Despite arriving 15 minutes early and seeing no other pets in the waiting area, I waited approximately 40 minutes before being seen. My interaction with the veterinary technician was disappointing. He entered the exam room without introducing himself or offering any greeting. He immediately removed my cat from his carrier, weighed him, and stated that my cat needed to lose 10 pounds. My cat weighs 16 pounds, is a large-breed cat, and is muscular with a naturally larger frame. While a small amount of weight loss may be reasonable, the comment seemed excessive and unprofessional. Body shaming a cat is a new low! When the veterinarian entered the room, she initially examined my cat and stated that his heart and lungs sounded normal. After spending several minutes reviewing notes from a previous visit, she listened to his heart again and then stated that he had a heart murmur. My cat is already under the care of a veterinary cardiologist for this condition. Despite that, I was presented with approximately $1,800 in additional testing recommendations. When I declined, the staff became argumentative and informed me that my cat could be refused future care if I did not provide vaccination records, even though he had received vaccinations at another Bond Veterinary Hospital location approximately 12 months earlier. Unfortunately, this visit reflects a pattern I have experienced with this practice. Over the years, I have brought multiple pets to Bond Vet and have repeatedly encountered issues including inaccurate diagnoses, recommendations for costly testing that I did not feel was necessary, medications being unavailable, and fees that were significantly higher than those charged by other veterinary practices. The one positive aspect is that appointments are often available on short notice. I was also concerned by the accuracy of the medical records. My after-visit summary contained multiple errors, including referring to my cat as a dog, listing an incorrect birth date that was more than two years off despite my providing the exact birth date, and several other documentation mistakes, including multiple misspellings. These errors raise concerns about attention to detail and the accuracy of the medical record. In addition to multiple demographic errors, portions of the visit summary documented discussions and information that never occurred during my appointment. Accurate medical documentation is essential for continuity of care, and finding statements in my pet's chart that did not reflect what actually took place further undermined my confidence in the quality of care provided. Based on my experiences, I will be seeking veterinary care elsewhere and will not be returning with any of my pets.

I've been taking my 85lb mix to him for the last three years & I have no complaints. Dr. Kaye always remembers us when we come in & remembers all of Lokai's previous issues (penis infection, double ear infection). Dr. Kaye lets me ask a million questions & calmly answers them & slightly makes fun of me being a crazy dog mom (which I totally am). I think my favorite part is that he doesn't do any unnecessary testing or treatment. He doesn't try to push anything on you, even if you suggest it. I really appreciated the fact that during this pandemic, my dog was making this weird breathing noise that freaked me out so I was told to send in a video instead of coming in. He called about an hour later (he was in surgery & my dog's issue wasn't serious) & told me what was going on with my dog. This was AWESOME! It kept all of us safe & quickly eased my worries. Dr. Kaye honestly just cares so much & is so gentle with Lokai (even though I'm an anxious mess the whole time because that's my baby). The staff is also super friendly & very knowledgable about dogs!! I couldn't have found a better vet after moving to a new city (from FL) & not knowing anything about the area. One thing to note is that Dr. Kaye likes to joke. His sense of humor isn't what someone might expect from a vet but he means no harm EVER & is simply making jokes & making stressful situations less stressful. He's trying to lighten the mood. It took a visit or two to get used to but now he knows I'm a crazy dog mom & I know he's making jokes! He truly cares for Lokai & that's all that matters to me! Highly recommend!!! Other patients that come in seem to love him & his clinic too!

You guys let me leave with her pain meds. You also stated you wouldn't have sent her home if you didn't think she was okay. Well you sent her home and she died. As for your very witty "We are not mind readers" comment, I clearly know that because you do not even have common sense to admit that you guys have screwed up. A pet dies and your reply is hope you get over it soon. For those of you planning on going here, my neighbor who lives across the street from me had the same breed dog who recently died under their care. BE AWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION. Instead, he was given pre-anesthetic medications and anesthesia for a SPAY procedure. Dr. Cohen later stated there had been a mix-up with another patient. When my mother picked him up, she was told by Dr. Cohen not to inform me of the incident (I have been in the field for ~15 years) and was discouraged from seeking care elsewhere. No post-procedure blood work or objective assessment was performed to ensure he was stable for discharge. We took him to a 24-hour emergency hospital, where he was found to be dehydrated, hypokalemic, and in acute kidney failure. He has since required multiple ER visits for vomiting, lethargy, and not eating, along with ongoing monitoring that has cost thousands of dollars. Dr. Cohen also stated he would not be taking action regarding the employee involved, citing that she had been "showing improvement," and added that she is pregnant. Regardless, verifying the correct patient prior to anesthesia is a fundamental responsibility of the veterinarian. If others have had similar experiences and are considering reporting concerns to the state veterinary licensing board, I encourage you to document everything and follow the appropriate formal complaint process. No pet or family should have to go through this.
