After a couple of refinements, we settled on an amount. David told me they were going to have the best proposal, and he was not wrong. They were supposed to stsrt on Tuesday, but called the Friday before and asked if they could start on Monday instead. Early Monday, the crew arrived and got straight to work. The workers were all friendly, courteous, and efficient. These guys work hard! Everything was demo'd and wood was replaced the first day. The second day, after the permit inspection and material delivery, they started working on putting on the underlayment. They finished the job on Wednesday. I'm thrilled with how the roof came out.
