Quaint little storefront and friendly staff who were eager to help. They have a nice order ahead feature online, though I waited in the store while my pizza was made. My wife put me onto this place to grab a pizza from one night to take back home and watch a game. I got a grandma style pizza from SoHo and it was so good I honestly could have eaten the entire large in one sitting. Was crispy and had a ton of flavor. Was your basic cheese with some sauce and fresh basil on it, have to see what else they have on their menu. Service was friendly at the counter, seemed more like a grab and go place as they only have a small table or two in the back, probably one of the better pizza options in the area, check it out! read more

This is my second review of Soho pizza . I ordered the same thing: Greek salad and large pizza with mushrooms to be delivered. The pizza and salad were excellent: just as good as my last order. Most of the complaints on here are about timeliness of the food. I have not experienced that issue. My delivery has always been more than acceptable. This is my go to pizza place. read more

The food gods are so good to us! Years ago when we moved away from the West Village, we were sad to leave behind our favorite butchers and pizza joints. Well lo and behold, butcher shop extraordinaire Hudson and Charles followed us up to the UWS in NYC -- and an iteration of Bleecker Street Pizza is now slinging some truly excellent pies in New Milford, CT. I say "an iteration of Bleecker Street" because I'm guessing some intellectual property restriction prohibits Soho Pizza from explicitly invoking the name of that beloved West Village institution. But there are photos of the old Bleecker Street space on the wall (without the signage, but recognizable to those of us who frequented it... frequently). And the hospitable owner, who was hard at work in the kitchen on Memorial Day and making sure customers were happy, confirmed the connection. The house made sauce is certainly as fabulous as the Bleecker Street Pizza's we remember. Cooked down from high quality canned tomatoes and then left largely alone so that the good ingredients are able to shine, this slightly, but not excessively, sweet sauce anchors some darn good pie. Where Bleecker Street Pizza's crust was a bit thinner and more glutinous, however, a version more likely to inspire a NYC fold, Soho Pizza's NY-style crust is sturdier, more crisp than chewy, and not meant to be folded. Ratios of sauce to cheese to crust were in good balance by our standards. (My family hates when pizza is 80% cheese.) Per my jury of self-proclaimed NYC pizza aficionados, Brickhouse is still the reigning champion for NYC style pizza in New Milford. But Soho slings a gorgeous almost-NYC style pie all its own, which we quite enjoy. If you like a thicker crust, their Grandma / Nona's Pizza also provides a nice canvas for that sauce and other excellent ingredients. And there's a pretty extensive non-pizza menu we plan to hit on future visits -- because we anticipate there will be many. Final notes: (1) Soho Pizza offers a beautiful space for dining in: clean and cozy, nicely decorated. There's even a fireplace that I'm sure is quite inviting in cool weather. The digs are much nicer than at your average pizzeria. (2) Left turns out of the parking lot are horrible as they seem to be everywhere in New Milford. Save yourself some pain and danger, make a right, and turn left at the next light. read more

We have been wanting try Soho Pizza since we saw the sign go up. Finally got the chance over the weekend. Sadly, it was a little underwhelming. Beautiful and clean from the outside in. Limited inside dining. The staff was very friendly and nice. I did take out. It was ready within the 30 minutes as they promised. Parking lot is a little cramped. I easily got a spot, but it was a little difficult maneuvering my car out of the spot to leave the parking lot. The food was just ok. I was not overly impressed. The cheese and sauce were good on the pizza, but it was very thin and a little too crispy for my liking. The chicken parm was also just OK. Probably would've tasted a little better if all the mozzarella cheese wasn't peeled off by the wax paper placed over the hero before it was placed in the aluminum foil. I will definitely give Soho another try. The prices are good and it is not far from where I live. Hopefully my next trip is more positive. read more

Pizza is always good and flavorful but do not believe any estimates on time for your order to be ready. Ordered four pies online at 5:50 pm, website said the approximate ready for pickup time was 6:15 pm. Arrived at 6:20 pm to pickup my order and was told that the kitchen was overwhelmed and it would be 20 to 25 more minutes. My order was finally ready and I was out the door at 7:35 pm. That's right, a full hour and 20 minutes after it was supposed to be. Unfortunately it wasn't only my issue, the two other men waiting at my table were at an hour past "ready time" when I left. Please develop a more accurate way of estimating ready times. Missing the mark by 10 to 15 minutes is one thing but going passed by an hour plus is outrageous. read more

Last night, I tried their Grandma's Pizza for the first time and so delicious. Absolutely delicious! The cheese and especially the sauce...such great sauce. Just the right amount of bread, not too thick and real good crust. Do yourselves a favor, head over to this place and treat yourself. My first time and definitely will not be the last time. Pizza and New Milford are like the Cape and seafood: EVERYWHERE! Isn't interesting that there are so many?? Until Soho opened, Brickhouse was best. This place is tops. Owner gives sodas, crust is simply the best (and in pizza land, what matters more than crust?). In town, if you want pizza, this soho first, then Brickhouse. ordered a large cheese, large meatlover, and a salad at 7:00. was told food would be ready in about 20 minutes. we watied in the car for twenty minutes and didnt get our food until 8:15. man at the counter was very disrespectful. The vibe inside the restaurant was ok. had nice music but also songs about women cheating on their partners. pizza was pretty good but the taste was not worth the service. As Mike Tomlin famously once said "the standard is the standard." Soho pizza exceeds standards. SoHo's buffalo chicken slice and grandma slice were fantastic. On top of that, the customer service couldn't be better. I've lived in New Milford for months now, moved from NY, always used to ponder where I can find a slice. Soho is the answer, I'm telling you. I'm glad they made their way to New Milford from Danbury because their standards are just higher than the competition around here. read more
