While the meat portions look small, y'all need to realize this is happy hour street tacos! Adding some salsa from the self serve bar, it was so worth the price. The server seated me at the booth table giving me one of the menus the menu was one that was not a book size one that was easy the two page menu gave a picture the restaurant was that of a family style location. Seeing the menu food dishes the prices are some of the great prices from the breakfast to lunch dishes the breakfast dishes surprised me with the waffle excellence that was with bacon and sausage and the two eggs scrambled with the large waffle. The food is almost worth the wait…read more Coming to this resturant on an empty stomach may not be the best idea. The wait time is long especially between 10-12pm. There isnt a ton of places to sit while waiting either, a few chairs outside. Once seated, the decore of the place is very nice. Not overly tacky but nicely placed talaveras around the resturant paying homage to the name and culture. The food does mexican breakfast justice & the portions make up for the long wait time. While a little pricey to me for eggs and tortillas, the food is good. What gives this restaurant it's 3 stars for me was the attitude of the staff. May have been an overly busy day and patience were running thin but my husband and I noticed that asking for additional coffee or salsa seems to bother the waitress. Getting her attention for the check and pay at the host stand felt the same as well. Again, might have been an off day but for me, hospitality and the lack of greatly discourages me returning to this resturant.
