Food is excellent I love the pretzels and quesadillas, salmon! Service is always impeccable. One thing about this establishment is they are always improving the outside surroundings. If you like live music this is the place! My favorite hangout for live music entertainment!

This place is pretty solid. I visited for a work meet up around 2pm on a Friday. The set up is very laid back- nothing fancy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't mind sitting outdoors but I don't like seeing ants crawling on the bar or tables. I ordered the chicken sandwich which I believe was around $17 and did not come with fries. I clearly didn't read the menu well enough because others had fries and mine did not. She asked if I ordered the side and I told her I assumed fries came with the sandwich. It was good but not worth the price alone. I enjoyed my classic margarita. I think I could taste orange juice so I think they used orange liquor. I would go again for happy hour because it is close to work. The nachos, quesadilla and chicken tenders looked really good! I stayed at my event for one hour and didn't think to take pics but will next time.

I like coming here for a simple meal. The service is always good, I like the happy hour margaritas. The only sad part is I feel the menu gets more limited every time! It's a coastal eatery and they don't have fish & chips anymore. I wish they had a few more options for entrees.

LOVE the happy hour menu. You can't beat 5$ Margaritas and chicken strips. I've gone a few time during the week and between 3-7 it typically isn't busy so we can go in and out in as quick of a time as we want. The service can be a bit slow though, the people are nice but a few times we have been overlooked and it's not a great feeling.

We went on a Saturday and to our surprise was seated almost immediately upon arrival. Service was super quick and efficient on getting our orders in to the kitchen then back. Monte Cristo Sandwich- The french toast was way too eggy for my liking. Almost dismissing the sweet and savory combo that I was looking for. Accompanied with breakfast potatoes which were not seasoned to my liking. 6/10 Chorizo Breakfast Burrito- Burrito was a tad bit more on the greasier side. 7/10 Churro French Toast- Insanely sugary I wanted to like this so bad, but it was encrusted in a sugar coating then drizzled with a caramel sauce. Just a bit too much for the first meal of the day in my opinion.

I stopped in here when I was visiting the area hoping to get some good fish and chips. Sadly, when I arrived I found this is no longer a "coastal" eatery and they don't serve seafood items any longer. It is now a "bar and eatery" with more typical pub style food. It seems like a missed opportunity that such a beautiful restaurant near the California coast wouldn't serve some excellent local seafood. The restaurant is bright, open, and airy, so it's great for a casual meal. I sat at the bar and the guy working behind the bar was very friendly. The place as a modest draft beer selection and I tried a local brew that was good. I ended up getting a burger and fries. The burger was very good, but I thought the fries were next level. Only thing missing was some malt vinegar for the potatoes. I also had the crustless cheesecake for dessert and it was yummy! Overall, this place is really enjoyable, but I was disappointed they no longer have seafood items beyond the basic salmon dish. A coastal bar and eatery NEEDS some fish & chips and seafood tacos using local seafood!

It's an amazing place, customer service the best in San Diego specially and actually a shootout to Tania best customer service in the bay, and food the best burgers in town you gotta try it.

Sat down and waited 15 minutes, staff did not acknowledge us. Staff seemed confused and moving in slow motion. Walked out.

We got everything in it, and added avocado for $1. The peperoncini was free to add on the side. The sandwich was yum, but for $7, it is the best I've ever eaten. Service: 4.5/5 The person who took our order was so kind, offering us water when we didn't order any drinks and making sure we needed nothing else while we ate. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 It's so so cozy in here! I think it turns into a bar after dark, and the place is the right ambiance for both AM and PM. It was decently packed, and there are games to borrow! I would recommend this place for a casual lunch, a coffee run, or a third-space hang out. Amazing, no notes. Final rating: 4.67/5 (rounding up to 5 on Yelp)

They serve coffee during the day and alcohol at night. Since we came at night, we tried their cocktails. I was impressed with the variety of alcohol choices from sake, soju, wine and mixed cocktails. I chose So Fresh and So Clean, which exactly was the taste when I sipped this drink. The garnishing was minimal, so I was a little disappointed that the presentation wasn't that great. I ordered Just like candy and I loved the candy garnish as this was a fun twist to this drink. I did want the cocktails be a little more alcohol forward since I didn't feel it very much. Service was okay as we had to flag someone down to place another drink order. This place will reopen again soon and I'll try the cocktails again. Nice place to relax and unwind before or after dinner or in the morning with your coffee.

From the start, Alex made the experience memorable. You can tell when someone genuinely loves the food they're serving, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Every recommendation came with thoughtful details, and honestly, he didn't steer us wrong. His top recommendation was the Oxtail Tetelas, and wow! This ended up being my favorite dish of the night. The sauce was absolutely incredible, rich and flavorful without overpowering the dish, and every ingredient worked together perfectly. As someone who has never considered Mexican cuisine my go-to choice, this dish completely changed my perspective. It was comforting, creative, and packed with flavor in all the right ways. My husband ordered the tuna empanadas, which were being made fresh at the time, and after stealing a few bites (as any good spouse does), I can confirm they were equally delicious. Fresh, light, and beautifully prepared. For drinks, I went with the Verde Zero Proof. It wasn't my usual flavor profile and had a bit more spice than my taste buds typically enjoy, but that's more of a "me" problem than a criticism. If you enjoy a little kick in your drinks, you'll probably appreciate it much more than I did. The restaurant itself has that cozy hole-in-the-wall charm that makes you feel like you've discovered a hidden gem. The vintage decor creates a warm atmosphere that's perfect for date night, and as dog parents, we especially appreciated that the place is dog-friendly. That was actually one of the main reasons we decided to give the place a try, and we're glad we did. Great food, great service, a cozy atmosphere, and a few surprises along the way. We'll have to come back to work our way through more of the menu

There's cool Mexican art on the wall and table was clean and wiped down. There's not too big of a menu and what they have is made really well. The chips and salsa were good. I like how light the chips are. The free salsa had more and better flavor than the red, but both are good. I got El Bàsico burrito and it was like how I used to eat it growing up when my parents would make it for me. I asked for a side of the poblano salsa they use for the chilaquiles and it was so good!
