This is a rumor but the vibes were so bad around there when this transition happened.

For weeks, I made multiple attempts to provide important information related to my upcoming procedure, including submitting my current medications exactly as instructed on the preparation paperwork. Despite leaving messages and following their process, I received no acknowledgment or timely response. For a medical office, this level of neglect and poor communication is unacceptable. When I finally called to follow up, instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the staff member I spoke with became defensive and combative regarding the office's failure to respond. The call ultimately ended with the phone being hung up on me. At no point was there any ownership, apology, or concern shown for the lack of patient communication. This experience has seriously impacted my confidence in this practice. Patient care does not begin and end with the procedure itself -- communication, professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability are equally important. Unfortunately, this office failed in all of those areas. Went to First Call in Gambrills ( previously known as Chesapeake Ergent Care, w/same contact info) They were incredibly well run. -Open 7 days! -no appt needed -wait in-vehicle -lines are outside -Rapid & send out test -Test was not painful, just a bit uncomfortable The swab seemed to be flexible -even with a double line of 12-15 cars, it was well organized, supervised traffic director, smooth process, and a bit over an hour total time spent there ! After some of the negative stories of the process .. I was surprised.
