This place is a MUST! I suggest lunch to anyone! We were so nicely welcomed by one of the owners as the employee prepared our things.. He shook our hands, told us a story about the awesome spot that's been there 26 years! It was nothing short of FABULOUS, every bit of it! The food is unique & plenty to choose from.. It's the first coffee house in alllll of Frankenmuth! The prices are reasonable but the menu is so big, the husband and I stood there and just looked like, ummm. Wow. The cashier gave us a brief history while we waited/looked. While we weren't very hungry, we wanted something in our stomachs before we went wine tastings since we stayed overnight and had skipped breakfast at the hotel. So the Lady at the counter helped us. We ended up ordered the Fan favorite, since she said was large enough to split if we were looking to eat. Plus the place was right across the street from Funships which is where we were going. The fan favorite was made of turkey, it was large enough that we were both full, and it came with waffle fries which seemed like they were home made (i made fun that the it seemed like it was one potato because i could piece it together) It came with a Pop like a combo, but we wanted coffees so she gave us a coffee in place, and we ordered another, It was never ending coffee, and I put that to good use. The coffee quality was GREAT! and they had flavored creamers, and even syrups if you wanted to go that far. It's important to note that the coffee bold and light roasts were imported also, i dont remember where the cashier said they were from. But wee spent 11 dollars total. Not bad. read more

Very cool little coffee shop on Main St. It looks like it used to be an old toy store or something because you can see a tiny train track near the ceiling! They have so many different coffee drinks and teas to choose from! The food is also very good. I've only had a couple of sandwiches, but I was pleased with every selection. If you're staying in the area, stop here for your morning coffee. read more

Normally when we stay in Frankenmuth we will grab coffee at the closest Starbucks which is in Birch Run. We checked out the Kaffee Haus on our last trip and this will be our new go to coffee spot whenever we are in the area! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The drinks we tried (The Bavarian and Beam Me Up Scottie) had great flavor. They have food as well - we only tried the muffins but they have a wide range of sandwiches.The atmosphere and decor is very nice - if I lived in the area I'd be a regular! If you are in the area and are looking for a nice coffee shop be sure to check this place out! read more

This was a nice break from the bustle of the main drag. New folks took over running the shop a few weeks ago, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Coffee and hot chocolate is some of the best around. Had the breakfast bagel sandwiches and they were really good. Egg, cheese and bacon on bagels. Not fancy but good. Wish we had been in town longer to try their lunch sandwich selections. They all sounded good and there is a huge variety. Prices were very reasonable - under $20 for 2 hot chocolates, 1 large coffee, 1 frozen mocha and 4 breakfast bagel sandwiches. Will definitely go back next time we are in Frankenmuth. read more

I usually bring the family here after a day of sledding at Memorial Park. They make the best steamers! I order the cherry made with skim milk & sugar free cherry--it's so delicious AND guilt-free! My daughter loves the peanut butter steamer & my son goes for their very rich hot cocoa. The spouse always enjoys the french vanilla latte. Great cozy place to relax and warm up. read more

Nice place to stop for a hot cocoa or coffee. The hot cocoa is delicious and hits the spot after the spending time hitting the shops.

Although the employee behind the counter who took our order was exceedingly friendly and the place was very clean, the breakfast selection was very limited and not very good. The muffins tasted like they came from a warehouse and not from a bakery. For breakfast, they only offer a rather bland egg sandwich on a bagel, croissant, or a wheat tortilla. They had four types of coffee and lots of flavored creamers available. When I pumped a little of the light roast, I was served an 80/20% mixture of coffee and grounds. I moved over to the Italian roast pot and received a cup of lukewarm coffee. Both blends seemed very light to our taste. The two flavored coffees were also weak and watery. Their menu contains a good number of smoothies and an extensive list of sandwiches and hamburgers, but we were there in the morning and Yelp lists this place as a breakfast restaurant. The coffee itself was disappointing. This is a big failure for a coffee house (Kaffee Haus). I don't understand the overall 4-star rating. read more

I LOVE this place! I have had a couple different dress up tea parties here for little girls. The walls are all a painted mural of old Chicago, and even one area is the beginning of the great Chicago fire. A small train track runs above which my little kids love. Adorable little shop. There are stacks of games you can play like Yahtzee or cards... They make an awesome BLT or Grilled Cheese. I was very happy with the serving amounts. Their hand dipped ice cream is also a nice treat. Love the ownership (they let my group stay after their closing time). All staff are friendly and willing to make my coffee the unique way I like it. Cute little coffee house with unique atmosphere. They have a self-serve coffee area where you have a choice of three types of coffee (that change daily), and a variety of sandwiches including a "Downtowner" that will leave you full for the day! Prices are reasonable for the sandwiches, and not out-of-line with what one would expect in a tourist town. It can get busy (especially during festivals), and there's limited seating, but most days there's plenty of room. it does have a small staff, and as I said it's a small restaurant, so you have to expect to wait a few minutes more. Everything is made while you wait, with nothing that I could see being pre-prepared. All in all, a nice little coffee shop with unique decorations and reasonable menu. read more
