Wanted to try the two menu special items that were stamped sold out- so wasn't sure if it was sold out prior and menu needs updating or if they have stamps in hand. Food was good server was gods. Definitely a place to try if in area .

    WIENER SCHNITZEL DINNER

Our experience here was very good! Our 9-top was in a private room. We got lots of food: schnitzel, filet, bacon wrapped shrimp, fried ravioli, and the new york strip steak and shrimp. Very yum! Definitely would recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp and schnitzel! The bread was also very good, warm, fresh, and the garlic butter to go with it topped it off. Our server was very attentive and I would definitely go back! They have gluten free items on the menu, as well, marked.

Third time- we always make this our last dinner on HHI. Everything was wonderful! Reserved on line. Got the time we wanted. Started with chilled beets, calamari and salads. I love the dressing on their caeser. I had the seafood spaghettini- delicious, very flavorful. Hubby had ny strip, kids chicken alfredo and sausage pasta. Sabrina was super sweet. Didn't stay for dessert as we usually do bc it was very warm in there. Said they were having problems with ac. That was the only downside to a lovely evening.

The service started with an attitude and then was great. It's happens. The food was really good! The atmosphere is very upscale relaxed and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

We visited for the first time and all I can say is wow! The ambiance, service and food were outstanding. The mussel appetizers were delicious, as were the meatballs. I had the sliders as a meal, which were easily the best I've ever had in my life. My wife had the fettuccine Alfredo which was also delicious. We would happily return for another meal!

Thanks Yelp - 6 of us went out for Friday night dinner. Made reservations. Seated right away. Plenty of parking out front. Wife had veal Marsala excellent she loved the dish. I had trout very good. Tommy our waiter took Excellent care of our table. Others had steak which they all loved. So yep a 5/5. Try this restaurant if you are on Hilton Head.

Merged Italian & American cuisines.Very comfortable booth seating with high backs. Felt very private. Varied menu that included vegetarian options. Friday night was packed with patrons of varying sizes but didn't feel busy. Server was engaging and answered all our questions. Appetizers of spinach/ artichoke dip and calamari were piping hot. Salads, fresh. From eggplant parm, liver n onions, beef ragu to new york strip, all delicious and well timed. Will definitely return!

We had a group of 12 people for a friend's birthday for dinner. Everybody at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. He worked very hard to make sure ourour dining experience was good. We had a few mishaps with drinks, but they were rectified. The food was outstanding! I had the Redfish Pontchartrain special. It was so good! I would love it if they kept this on the menu permanently. Everybody was very happy with their meals. I always start up with the escargot. It is so nice and garlicy and buttery. A few of us got it. Some had salads. All of the entrees were enjoyed, as well as the desserts.

I so wanted to love this place, but the food and my drinks were not so good. The watered down martinis was the first sign (espresso and a three olive martini witch arrived with two) then the fish was tasteless, the only thing that was great was the mushroom appetizer and our server was fine. Oh yes the coffee steak my friend had was good.

I'd actually rate this place a 3.5. This is likely one of those places where just a few items on the menu are stellar and the rest is meh. So you have to visit several times to find the items worth repeating. The menu has a little bit of everything. Pastas, meatloaf, ribeye, weinerschnitzle, fish and lots more. We started off with the beer cheese soup with rye croutons. It was their soup of the day and if they happen to have it, DEFINITELY get this ! It was excellent. I got the Cesar salad and it was just ok. Not nearly enough dressing on it. The dressing is made in house and was good, what little there was of it. Hubby got the veal parmesean. We both agreed it was very good ! The spaghetti with marinara on the side had a fantastic flavor. The veal was thick and coated in cheese. If they could make the breading just a bit more crispy, it would rival the best restaurants. I ordered the seafood frutti del mar without calamari in it. Just before it was scheduled to come out, the waitress said they changed the menu and they could no longer take out the calamari, so she asked if I wanted to order something else. Their shrimp is local, so I was really looking forward to a shrimp and pasta dish. (besides fettuccine alfredo). She said I could make my own dish, so we decided to get the blackened shrimp with pasta, tomato cream sauce, bacon, and mushrooms. When it was delivered by a guy from the kitchen, it was a POOL of sauce the thin pasta was swimming in. There was not a single shrimp to be found. It took a while to find someone to ask, um where is the shrimp ??? The waitress went back to the kitchen and brought back a small bowl of cooked shrimp. The pasta was still swimming and I wish I had a colander to drain some of it off. The thin pasta basically turned to mush in the pool of liquid. You would think the cook would know better than to add so much, but ... I then asked the waitress for some red chili flakes for my pasta. She forgot. I was 3/4 of the way finished with my meal before she checked on us again and when I reminded her again, she asked if I still wanted it. Then at the end of the meal she asked if I would like a bag for my box of leftovers. I said yes, and she never came back. Haha, ok. We got a chianti with dinner and it was very good. For dessert we got a warm piece of butterfinger cake and ice cream. Definitely get this !!! It was fabulous! My husband and I were almost fighting over the last spoonful. This dessert is made in house. The atmosphere is very comfortable. Nice black and white sketches on the wall, neon lights, and comfy booths. I think once you found the right thing to order here, you'd be very happy.

Cod Savannah with sweet potatoes and green beans (green beans are very crispy )

I love that you can make reservations here, especially with a large group! We had a private room which allowed us to talk and hear each other. Deep was our server and did an excellent job! We tried lots of different foods and my husband said his veal piccata was the best he had ever had. My cod Savannah was really good as well. Only thing I would change is have the green beans tender enough to cut with a fork. I had to use a knife and saw them

Butterfinger Crunch Cake Key Lime Pie Triple Chocolate Espresso Brownie Sundae Coconut cake feature desert

Delicious, amazing service! We got deserts and drinks, everything was fast and the server was great, his name was Deep! My Dad said it was the best key lime pie he has had on the island!

From the moment we sat down in the bar area, Michael made us feel genuinely welcome. He was warm, personable, attentive, and had the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, checked on us at just the right times, and made the entire evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. It's rare to come across someone who truly loves what they do, and it showed in every interaction. The food was outstanding! We enjoyed delicious martinis, amazing meatballs, freshly baked bread that was impossible to stop eating, and fantastic pizza. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What really made the evening memorable, though, was Michael. He elevated a great meal into an exceptional dining experience. His genuine hospitality, positive attitude, attention to detail, and engaging personality are exactly what every restaurant hopes to provide its guests. If you're dining at Michael Anthony's Market Cafe, ask to sit in Michael's section at the bar - you'll be glad you did. He's an absolute asset to the restaurant, and we'll definitely be whatback because of him. Five stars all the way!

Loved the Caesar salad with fried anchovies--yes, please! I loved my entree (the spaghetti with crab). My BIL's veal Milanese was very good, and the arancini I tasted from my sister's scallop special were fabulous. Would have liked the dish to come with larger bay scallops, though. My friend would have liked more of a thin crispy cutlet in her chicken parm but that's what she's used to. My panna cotta was lovely! No complimentary bread service here, and FYI, a simple side of pasta is $15. I've been told to make a rez and sit at the bar.

They brought out water and we ordered a bottle of wine. They have a pretty good wine selection. We both decided to do the 3 course for $45. I ordered the Ceaser salad and hubby got the Al Dente Salad. Both were good and lettuce was fresh. I chose the Chicken Parm with Linguine. It was a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The breading was good & it was baked with cheese melted over top. I deducted 1 star because the sauce was a tad bit too salty for my preference, but overall it was good. I would consider ordering this again here. Hubs got the Lasagna Rollatini with Sunday Ragout. I thought it looked very good but I don't eat beef, so I didn't try it. Hubs thought it was good. For dessert I ordered the Lemon Marscapone cake, which was delicious. It had great flavor but was not overly sweet. The marscapone icing was light and creamy. I would definitely order that again. My hubby doesn't typically care for lemon desserts, but he tried a couple of bites and was impressed. Hubs ordered the Italian Cheesecake and it was delicious as well. We both enjoyed it. Our service was outstanding and the person who brought out the wine was fringe and helpful as well. Hubby typically likes bread with his meal but we didn't order any. Next time we will have to try it.

The staff continues to impress--attentive, warm, and they actually remembered us, which made the experience feel even more special. We dined later in the evening this time, and it was really special to see the staff, managers, and I believe even the owner all still there together. It felt less like coworkers and more like a family--which says a lot about a place. Food-wise, everything held up to our first visit (which is rare!). I couldn't resist and ordered the beef bourguignon again--still absolutely incredible.
