    Special: grouper with risotto

Ambiance was amazing, such a hidden gem in Harbor Town. Will absolutely be back. The bread and butter was delicious, cocktails were great, and food was amazing. We tried the mussels and the she crab soup both were phenomenal. For entrees the special was a blackened grouper over risotto that had crawfish and sausage - fantastic, and the seared ahi tuna which was fresh and delicious. The peanut butter pie and key lime pie were equally as good. Lovely restaurant

Took out of town friends to dye here prior to one of the harbor Tower boat sunset cruise. The food is always delicious. We had seafood options in this visit, and they were excellent. The ambiance of "the oldest restaurant in HHI" is delightful. Service was excellent, from the hosted seating throughout our meal. I'll go back again.

Amazing food, service was great - First time but will become a staple for us. Sea Bass, Scallops, Crab Cakes, Pork Chop... Everything was solid!

CQ is one of our favorite spots in Hilton Head. The food is simply delicious, with a menu that isn't overwhelming and seasonal specials that keep things fresh. The ambiance is cozy, and the service is always attentive.

Awesome food and service, they offer a full menu at the bar, were we dined because of no reservations. Popular spot, plan ahead

Best food in Harbour Town! We both had steaks. Cooked as ordered, and the sides were great.

Nice ambiance. Food lacked seasoning, a little bland. Didn't find to much lobster in my seafood pasta.

The staff continues to impress--attentive, warm, and they actually remembered us, which made the experience feel even more special. We even saw the young gentleman from Croatia again who had taken care of us on a previous visit--he was just as pleasant and even stopped by our table to say hello, which was such a nice touch. We dined later in the evening this time, and it was really special to see the staff, managers, and I believe even the owner all still there together. It felt less like coworkers and more like a family--which says a lot about a place. Food-wise, everything held up to our first visit (which is rare!). I couldn't resist and ordered the beef bourguignon again--still absolutely incredible. We also had escargot (note: it comes with béchamel unless you ask otherwise), and that amazing cassoulet loaded with different meats from the evening--it was spectacular. Safe to say this place is officially our favorite on the island... and yes, I'm still tempted to keep it a secret .

Lots on the menu, but the Oscar goes to Travel Tip: Order SOUPE A L'OIGabNON. Yes, Russell Crowe should have been nominated and won the Oscar this year - Perhaps, the younger generation is ill-informed on WWIi. Chez Georges requires a designer's update. Always, the service is best in Hilton Head. Always, the kitchen is among best in Hilton Head.

The cafe is lovely; cozy with small tables scattered about. They have outdoor seating, too. I got scrambled eggs, gluten free bread, grits and a soy latte. I was very happy to see they had gluten free bread! My husband got a cappuccino, scrabbled eggs with cheese, toast and bacon. He said it was all very good. The eggs are moist and delicious, very similar to the eggs we had in Paris. They have a few gifts for sale and I bought two of their china cups with baby succulent plants to take home. It's a nice reminder of a happy memory. On our last day, several employees said hello and remarked that we had been in every day. It was a kind send off to a great trip! We will definitely be back soon!

I need to update this because the owner keeps responding to my review, assuming it's about my dog,…read moreand I want to be direct: it is not, and she's wrong to keep saying so. My experience with her had nothing to do with her rules about dogs. It was about her attitude and the way she delivered a message, condescending and rude, in a tone that talked down to me as a customer, not an explanation, just contempt. That's the problem I have with her: the way she speaks to people, in this abrasive, angry, mean tone. If you're running a business and taking money from people, learn to deliver whatever you have to say in a friendly, kind way, not a condescending, dismissive, disgusting one. That is what this review has always been about: her behavior, not a dog. If it were about a dog, I would have said so. Having rules is fine, every business is entitled to them. What isn't fine is delivering any message with contempt instead of basic courtesy. There's a difference between enforcing a policy and being rude while doing it, and she consistently chooses the latter. I've also noticed her own staff don't follow her stated policies when she's not around, dogs sitting at tables inside, that kind of thing, which tells me something about how her own employees feel about working under her. And I'm not the only one who's had this kind of experience. I've talked to other people locally in Savannah who described the same condescending treatment from her. The latte is good. The staff, aside from her, are friendly. But an owner who can't speak to paying customers without an attitude problem is the reason I won't be back. Take accountability for how you talk to people, not for a dog that was never the issue.

Their steak prices have gone up a bit, but the quality matches the price. I started with the French onion soup, a must. It's a hearty portion it a nice size crock. I definitely do not regret our decision as we had a great meal. The interior ambiance of the restaurant truly transports to another place, it is truly beautiful. Our server was so gentle and gave us many recommendations on things to try and even accommodated some of requests. We started with the Espresso Martini and non-alcoholic French 75 (my first time) and these were both great. For appetizers, we had the crab croquettes (cakes), escargots and caesar salad. Everything was delicious (including the complimentary bread) , and to our surprise the Caesar salad had a nice crunch with the addition of fried frog leg pieces (if I'm not mistaken). The main entrees were the stars of the night, while we were originally inclined to try their Steak & Frites, our server recommended the steak tips sautéed over mushroom sauce with pasta and this was the perfect match instead of the classical French fries pairing. We also had the Supreme Roasted Chicken with caramelized veggies and everything was cooked to perfection. We did not leave without dessert and tried their Créme Brûlée, and while it was runnier than usual, the flavor was there. We thought it needed more time. Overall a great experience while in Savannah!
