honestly the best in the area! we took a break for a few years and came back, now I swear it's better. love that you have the option to order online for pick up which makes the process so easy. orders are always ready and hot when you arrive. prices seem reasonable too.

Best Chinese food in the Cleveland area. I know people who come from a few cities over to eat here.

In addition to noodles, the lunch special came with your choice of soup, a spring roll, or 2 crab rangoon. I opted for the crab rangoon. I also ordered 2 dim sum dishes - the shrimp dumplings ($6.50) and snow mountain lava buns ($6.50). The crab rangoon came out first, and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. Then I got the dan dan noodles. The noodles had a bit of a kick, but they weren't overwhelmingly spicy. They had a nice chew, and I slurped them up happily. I just wish there were more noodles lol, but the portions were pretty typical for dan dan noodles at Greater Cleveland restaurants. The dim sum was great. The shrimp dumplings were tender and juicy, and the buns were so fluffy. Be careful eating them though, or you might get hot, delicious egg goo all over your hands, lol. The staff is very no-nonsense. The service was efficient, and I made it in time for my Red Cross appointment. Note - the restrooms are super clean and even smell nice!

It's supposed to be crab shrimp scallop in sauce with baby corn and straw mushrooms. I ordered this for the reason of the mushrooms. I get it it has no mushrooms at all. It has TONS of pea pods, bamboo, celery, water chestnuts and I counted 12 pieces of seafood, like none for the size. I call and they said no, no mushroom when I'm staring at the menu I saw online and have a paper copy in front of me. There's maybe enough meat for one serving and then one serving of just veggies and a whole crap load of sauce. Do better. I won't be back, and they're 3 minutes from me!

Still the best egg rolls in the game and the wonton soup, when the noodles aren't boiled to death, is still great. But with each passing visit, I keep asking myself why am I returning. Nostalgia? Hanging on to a reputation that used to be? New ownership is destroying this place. They are cutting corners, raising prices and ruining recipes that stood the test of time. The shrimp appetizer is no different than butterfly shrimp I can buy in the frozen food section, definitely not homemade. Dragon gate has severely dropped the ball.

I discovered that it's one of the only Chinese restaurants open later in the day in the surrounding suburbs. I was very excited to try a new restaurant in this part of town but it was a miss for me. AMBIANCE: Simple surroundings with Chinese menus displayed on the monitors, red lanterns descending from the ceiling, simple art, and plants. The tones are light orange and peach. The dining room only has a few tables of four. The dining room also has a chest freezer that is unexpected. The decor is pretty dated yet exactly what you'd picture a Chinese restaurant to be. FOOD: Multi page has it all - appetizers, soups, fried rice, chow mein, chop suey, chow mein fun, egg foo young, lo mein, chef specialties, Hunan and Szechuan Specialties. There is also a small category with special diet dishes. The diet dishes include steamed veggies, some with shrimp and chicken. I ordered S22 - Honey Chicken ($12.75). It comes with a side of white rice, no egg roll. I took a few bites of the dish and settled for chips for dinner. Honey Chicken portion was generous and was in a separate container. Chicken pieces were very dry. They didn't seem to be cooked in sauce but rather sauce was added later. I heard some microwaving during meal preparation and it was probably for this sauce. Honey sauce is just melted honey. The two ingredients just aren't cohesive. Side white rice was small, too clumpy and dry. The meal wasn't at all enjoyable. SERVICE: The service was very intense. I got the impression that the employee did not want to cook anything at this point of the day. I have to say that meal prep was almost instant, much faster than at other Chinese food takeouts. The employee also welcomed me to return, which was nice. FREE TEA: The restaurant serves free hot tea (flavor unknown). Disposable glasses are available. It's a great treat for dine in or to go especially on frosty winter days. PARKING: Large plaza parking lot. Plenty of parking! Overall, it was a quick late evening stop with mediocre food. I was really craving Chinese food and was disappointed it wasn't good.

Always greeted immediately and food cooked fast without a long wait. I love that their roast pork is thinly sliced and well cooked. Pieces are not fatty or chewy. Vegetables are nice and fresh and perfectly cooked with a little crunch left. Not cooked too long or soggy, even in brown sauce. The General Taos and Orange chicken is nice and crisp, but would love more of a white/breast option for consistency. Some of the pieces can be stringy/chewy. Might have been a one off with the lo mein, but the noodles seemed too soggy or overcooked in water. Will give another try. Their egg rolls are great NY style- fat, round kind about the length of 3-4". Hard to find in some places. Reasonable pricing and food is always cooked fresh to order! Look forward to choosing them again!
