Date of work 09/15/25 I brought in my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan with a loud exhaust and a P0420 ODBC code which indicates a possibly bad Catalytic converter which is what I was expecting which everyone knows is very expensive but the good news is they found a bad resonator pipe and advised me they could replace the Resonator for about $500 or so or I could opt for a simple straight pipe to be welded in to replace the resonator, they gave me the choice ,I opted for the cheaper repair and they told me that would be fine and it would make for an effective repair and there would be no performance issues and they were correct ! The repair is good, the exhaust sounds normal, performance is good and the P0420 error code went away ! Since my mechanic retired and I don't much care for his replacement, I was on the prowl for another. A friend of mine recommended Beck Service Center. It's quite a drive from my side of town, but don't mind if my affairs get taken care of properly. My car was having a bit of an attitude, starting to hesistate and sputter, so I called and was told to bring it in the following day or the day after. When I turned in my car I was asked if I needed a ride and I let them know that I really need a rental or something. They immediately secured a loaner for me (you will need your liscense and your insurance card) and I was on my way back to work. A couple of hours later they called me to let me know what it was and how much it would be and I happily agreed since it wasn't 'much' in car repair terms. Now don't get me wrong, I'd rather spend my money on other things, but if you can get a car repair even remotely reasonable, then count me in. They could have taken me for everything I owned, but it turned out to be what they considered a minor problem. All I was charged was the diagnostic fee, the price of the part needed and half an hour labor. It was all taken care of by the early afternoon and I went to pay and trade the loaner for my 'brandnew' old car. It rides like a charm now. I wanted to find a reliable mechanic as I felt I was being charged for too many things at my previous garage. I wanted to go back to Debaun's but the owner retired, so I visited here based on friends who are regulars. I got a synthetic oil change and they did a basic check of my car. Price was average and the service was good. I also hung out at a toy store next door while waiting. I'm glad their are places near to while the time, as with some garages you feel more isolated. I started using Beck Service almost 15 years ago after shopping around for a company to service the fleet of 25 vehicles I managed for WISH TV. They weren't the cheapest place I found but they appeared to be the most professional. I no longer manage the WISH fleet but the fleet is still serviced by Beck. Beck's changed oil in service van. Van started losing oil pressure on way home at stops. When i checked oil level it was overfilled. Owners manual clearly states filling above cross-hatched area on dipstick can cause engine damage. read more

I have used Beck a handful of times over the past few years. I have always found their customer service to be above and beyond. Yesterday I have a minor issue with a plastic piece falling off of the underbody of my van. I stopped by at 5:00pm with no appointment, and they took it back and fixed it right away at no charge!
