I never thought I'd see myself giving a review to a government agency, but now that I think about…read moreit, it was a good experience. This location is not hard to find, off of S. Hamilton Road (and next to Rooster's, which is a good thing when you're finished), although parking isn't the greatest on a busy day. But that's not their fault, due to the property square footage. I entered, went to the front and entered some basic information on the electronic kiosk, then took a seat. For that place to be as heavy populated as it was, my wait was surprisingly short. To be honest, I though it was quite beautiful in there, seeing representation from so many countries, waiting to be serviced. The young lady at the window was very sweet (I have to admit, I expected someone with a very apathetic attitude) and shared a few laughs with me while she got me through the process (I had to get my social security card replaced). Plus points to the administration for implementing such an efficient system, although they almost lost a star because the security guard told me to turn my phone down (Hey, I'm watching a movie! lol), but kudos to him for doing his job. Inside are two kiosks. If you already signed up online, you'll still need to go to the kiosk and check in. If it's full, you'll be asked to wait in your car. We went several times, and wait times got worse while we were there, sometimes lasting at least an hour. By using the online feature, we probably only waited ten minutes. Overall, the workers were nice and seemed to be understanding of the wait times and tried to be helpful.

I can tell she was not home-trained, or she is failing her parents. The fact that she kisses her mother with that same filthy, loud mouth. As if we bothered her. She needs to be behind the scenes, sweeping floors. She is not a people person. For God's sake, she picked a job where you deal with the public; we were polite in every way. She treats people like a number.

I chose this location because I knew where it was and is just a freeway drive away. I tried to call the appt. line but it went in a loop without getting anywhere (this is why I took a star off). I went to the chat line and I was given the appt link which worked very well. I made an appt. for 10:45 on a Friday. From my confirmation email, I punched in my cell # for the check-in and was told I would be sent a text when they were ready for me. I sat in the parking lot for about 20 minutes past my appt time and was worried I would be missed/forgotten (another reason for the star). I then got the text to proceed to which window. The clerk was so wonderful and knew what he was doing. He completed forms for me and explained everything he was doing and what I was signing. It took about 20 minutes and I was done. The process was so much improved from the old days of standing in line for a long length of time. Great experience!

This is a tiny post office. With only two employees at the counter, the line can be long, and…read morethere's little space for social distancing. The people who are getting passports are cared for at the counter, which means one cashier is occupied for 30 minutes. Access to this post office is awkward. If you are driving north, make sure you turn before the light, as there is no way to turn in at the light. Parking spaces are also awkward. Finally, the driveway out to State Street has a sharp dip, making for a very jarring experience. If I can, I will avoid this place.
