Is this man for real?! He answered all my dreaded-haircut-appointments-with-my-son prayers!! Ok maybe that's a little exaggerated but my son is 2 1/2 and hates sitting in a chair for a hair cut. It's always been a struggle, we end up going home with hair all over him, all over me (because I have to sit him down on my lap half way through.. etc etc..) BUT Papa Frank ever so patiently works his magic and gives him the best hair cut every time! He takes his time, shows him the clippers and let's him hold it and makes the entire process fun and lighthearted so my son can sit through the entire hair cut! Absolutely love him and his gentle approach. It shows he has a ton of experience and that's priceless for someone like me who always dreads going to the barber shop as much as my 2 1/2 year old. I had gone to the nearby post office, and was on the lookout for a place to get a haircut when I saw the sign. It was late afternoon. A woman was cutting a boy's hair. As I waited, a man invited me to sit in the next barber chair. He did a good job. The place was friendly. I get the impression from the number of waiting area chairs that they do a pretty good business sometimes, although when I was there I was one of only two customers. I'll probably go back. read more

I called ahead of time to ask what time they close and they told me 2:30pm so then later i went around 2:23 and the doors were closed. I knocked after seeing the lights were on and a lady answered saying that they were closed , then i said i thought you closed today at 2:30 and she said "yea we do" so i said can i get a hair cut and she said no we are closed. It was around 2:26 and i was outside with no haircut and i wasted money on a uber to get there. read more

This has to be one of the barbershops that NO LESBIAN WANTS TO COME TO!! I was waiting here for over an hour to get my cut and the barber that work here did not want to cut my hair! HE told me that HE couldn't cut it since he was leaving already but as soon as another gentleman walked in he right away decided to cut his hair but REFUSED to cut mine!! Thanks to the girl my little brother got his hair cut it looked great and if it wasn't for the older gentleman I would of waited forever without getting my haircut! I went to Frank's yesterday for my usual flat top and I waited more than an hour, which angered me quite a bit. An elderly man with an injured leg who was already there before anybody and a couple of guys before me got served first way before me. After those three got served, the elderly man finally got to have his hair done while I was sitting there, still waiting to get served(the other barbers at the shop were no shows at Frank's). When this happened, I got up an left. I'm never going back to a Hispanic-run business ever again, plus, every time I went there, it was either $20, $18, 16, or their regular price of $25, which is WAY TOO expensive for a flat top. read more

I've been coming to Frank's for over 30 years before he had his own shop. Since I was in my late teens getting a flattop to now in my mid 50's giving me the conservative look. I travel about 30 miles now and sometimes wait over 2 hours just to have him cut my hair. I have introduced many friends and family to his shop. I remember being in the chair getting my hair cut when I got the call that my mom had passed. He immediately turned off all TVs went to the back and brought me a rosary and tried to console me. Just gave me time to get myself together. He is the best and always great customer service including all that work for him. read more

I have gone here twice. I'm really not a picky person but both times when I got my haircut here it was extremely mediocre. The first person who cut my hair definitely did a better job. The lady that just cut my hair did such a poor job. She cut the sides fine but then when it came to cutting the top she cut the front and THAT WAS IT! As if I wouldn't notice that she didn't cut my hair at I all on the top. The whole haircut took maybe 5 minutes and she even asked how it looked... pretty much like what it did when I came in. I definitely don't recommend this place unless you're a regular. read more

Ive been coming to franks barbershop for 7 years now and ive never walked out disappointed. Frank has never canceled an appointment and always accommodated me in the few cases where i arrived late to an appointment. Not to mention he can fade with the best of barbers in the valley. To go to barber shop this is the spot, you hear about the blade,fabcutz, and all these other over rated barber shops that over charge! But at franks you can get the same and if not better quality hair cuts for a cheaper price tapers fades Etc. for $13 bucks. I get a hair cut every 2 weeks and never disappoint if my barber isn't there you can go to someone else and still get a clean cut. Being a creature of habit it's hard for me to abandon a business once I've been satisfied by/ pleased with their service........ but even I have my limits- the shops namesake is obviously it's best barber and also the least concerned with YOUR time. Once after I and another were already waiting specifically for him -he went to lunch for what had to be well over an hour! Like I said though I'm a creature of habit and was happy with haircut when it was eventually done so I continued going there - Next time called made appt w/ Frank he showed up 45 min late! Then today the final straw went there to be greeted with the ever classy cardboard sign saying Sorry Closed for GoodFriday!! GoodFriday=Good Riddance- I will never go there again and neither should you if you value your time. read more

Seeing Frank with his perfectly, crisply done hair of his own is a good first sign. Frank listens to what you want done, checks to make sure he is doing what you want done, and is quite simply professional in every way. He even tries to accommodate you with what he puts on the TV.
