Bad haircut. Bad vibes. Bad barbershop. My usual barber is on summer vacation so I decided to find somewhere else on the Squire app. It led me to a decent priced haircut at Faded. I had no idea what this barbershop was at the time. Arrive to a location on a busy street you have to push a button to enter. It's a typical barbershop with several chairs. My barber was a bald gentleman with a gray beard. He gave me grief the entire time about using the app to go there and just about everything else. Another barber was sitting in the next seat. My race being different was brought up. It's 2025 so yeah, I use an app to find a haircut. He spent more time gossiping (80%) with his coworker about a celebrity than cutting my hair. Disrespectful and a waste of my time. His coworker even mentioned it being odd. Plus, the haircut was bad. He barely cut it and when he was done, I was so tired of the bad vibes that I had to get out of there. Dropped $50 for a really bad haircut. I had to go spend another $40 on a second haircut to fix the embarassingly bad looking haircut. That barber asked if I cut it myself it was so bad. I guess they don't like new customers at Faded so you'll never see me in there. Looking forward to bad memories of this place being faded. read more

Highly do not recommend Reddio or whatever his name is. He's the taller man, bigger frame, with cornrows. I asked for mid fade and he gave me a mid taper when I asked him to fix it, he said it would cost the same as a new haircut. I had a wedding coming up so I couldn't refuse, and ended up paying for 2 haircuts. On top of this, my beard wasn't properly shaved evenly, and it left razor burns all over the underside of my chin. If you go here, don't get cut by the tall, larger man with the cornrows. Choose any other barber in the shop. read more

My dad had a bad experience here recently and it seems like they are not interested in new clients or making money. He went in and there were only a few customers and lots of empty chairs but he asked if they had time to cut his hair, in case they had appointments scheduled, etc. The person motioned to the empty chairs and answered him very sarcastically saying something like, "well, can't you see??" Then my dad asked if they accepted cards or cash and the guy pointed to 2 different ATMS, and again said with an attitude, "there's an ATM there and there". At that point he had enough and walked out. My dad is elderly, just wanted a simple cut and didn't deserve to be treated this way. He will definitely not be returning and we do not/will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Been taking my son to kids hair salons for his gentleman haircut not only was I paying a lot for it, it wasn't to my standards, I didn't know better. But today I thought, what the heck, let me try a barbershop. Keep in mind, I have zero experience with barbershops. Husband is bald (looks very handsome, I must add) he isn't very familiar with local barbershops either. I walked into Faded Barbershop keeping my fingers crossed that they took toddlers and to my surprise they did! Marcos took care of my son and let me tell you, I was extremely happy with the results. I was referred to Faded by a friend and previous barber from Ray's Exclusive Cuts in Oxnard, CA. He told me to go talk with "L" because he was a long time family friend. "L" is one of the best barbers I have had the opportunity to befriend. He takes his time and makes sure each cut is a work of art for your individual needs. The best part of "L's" barbering is his meticulousness with making sure you leave with an excellent line. My hair is a little thin on top this is no problem for "L" because he is a master blender. I went in for a combover and taper and the barber didn't even do the taper all the way through nor line me up.

This place sucks. Their assholes and they mess up your hair. Went in and the guy at first stall didn't say a damn word to us. We sat down and I asked how do they work here. They told me my son was next. The older man cut his hair and wow did he mess him up. I told him a taper with a blend on side number 2 or 3 and 8 on top. Literally did the taper and rN the number 8 clipper few times on top. He literally didn't touch the front of his hair and left these huge bangs. He asked if that's good and I said no. He was clearly upset and started passing the machine on top again. I said what about the front and he sighed and continue to run the machine over his head. In order to avoid my son going through pain from this idiot passing the clippers with sharp end first I told him that's it. I know a barbershop isn't the friendliest place but damn! I've been growing my full beared and I went back to get my beared just trimmed it lightly and I explained her from the get go that don't cut anything,just cut the tips. Now I just left there and realized that she almost shaved my mustache without even telling me and brought the line up for my beared super low. Wow.i cant believe that. read more

Walked in and there was one guy cutting a dudes hair and another guy standing there talking to them. I thought he was just a friend or something so 20/30 mins goes by another guy comes in and the guy that was talking to the other two guys sits the new walk-in down and starts to cut his hair and didn't even acknowledge the fact I was waiting. He cut the guys hair for 40/45mins then he told me to sit down didn't even listen to what I wanted. Didn't say a word to me the entire time. He finished in 15/20mins he messed up my line up, burn/cut up my neck and left a bald patch on the back. I'm never going here again because of "Slick" this barber. read more

I walked in here very close to 130 pm today and still waiting 242pm. I was skipped by the only Latino gentleman working there excuse me if I'm wrong but it's all I have to go by since I onky git spoken to once after making myself known. He was the 6 chair away from the front door. Then get this a few minutes ago when I was clearly next he had his buddy walk in gave his buddy a cool handshake and started playing music this man I believe looked and excuse again if I'm wrong but he looks African American he is the 4th chair closes to the front door. Clearly everyone knew I was not waiting for someone specific as I asked if there was a sign in sheet to the barber closes to the front door and he replied "No, just have a seat and we will get you" but it looks like favoritism is key here. I seriously felt discriminated against. They could have done what the other oldest barber did waited to help his appt and not have his buddies jump in front. Horrible service here at Faded. There are good barbershops but this isn't one of them. I was feeling sick they might have thought I wasn't paying attention but I clearly counted the heads Infront of me 4. Please please please don't go hear unless your ok with being the person that has to give the barbers extra attention to get a hair cut. Really upset. Now as i finish writing this I wait to see if the person closes to the front the door that acknowledge me gets me oh and he didn't 254pm. He didn't explain anything if there was a appt only or anything that would make me understand this unfair treatment. I doubt on a Saturday they would take them most big barber shops don't. Really felt less than a human being. I hope the owner sees this. I know you get your customers but the more negative post that go on hear your shop will soon close down. Treating your clients unfairly and not explaining anything isn't going to cut it. I'm sure there going to give there manager or owner a lame excuse for there unfair treatment. I've been taking my little brother to this barbershop for a couple of months now and it's great. He gets his haircut by Jose, the Hispanic barber. The first time I took him I let Jose decide what kind of haircut would look best on Hector and he didn't disappoint. My brother and my sister's boyfriend also get their haircut by him. He's always busy so you have to set up an appointment which is really convenient since he honors them and won't keep you waiting. Really great service, he knows what he's doing. read more

Went in today for a cut because the first time I was here it was great, good conversation, and amazing cut. But today I walk in and see the same guy who cut my hair last time eating, so I sit in his section, take a call and wait for him to be done eating. Another person walks in maybe 5 mins later and sits right next to me. After dude gets done with his meal he proceeds to tell the other guy he's up, the man that was after me looks around in confusion and says "he was first", while pointing at me and dude says "doesn't matter come up". Now I had thought I finally found a place that could cut my hair properly but idk if it's because he had a problem with me or what but dude never acknowledged me from the second I walked in. Been coming here for almost 2 years. Shop is a great place and friendly atmosphere. They have a bunch of tvs to watch while you wait but I almost never have to wait long (except Friday's and Saturdays). This is the only place I let them touch my head. This place is the worst! absolutely no customer service, they continuously mess up my sons hair,,, Reggie was the best,,, and Lucky is the only one who can cut my son's hair like he wants it, the last Barber would not even fix my son's hair when he was unhappy, his only reply was there is nothing I can do, and I have people waiting,,, I had to fix it myself!
