I selected Franks Collision Repair - Clear Lake/Webster to make two repairs to my Lexus under two separate claims with State Farm, my car insurer. One a hit and run in a parking lot and the other self inflicted when I backed into a gate. Follow up from my initial call, through the repair estimate and work progress reports to job completion was perfect, courteous and professional. The results were excellent and delivered on time. Hopefully I will not need body shop services again anytime soon, but if I do, Franks is where I will go. read more

They purposefully held my glass roof to my C8 corvette for months. Luckily I also have the regular roof. They scratched my glass roof and tried to blame me but I'm smart and I record everything, they forgot to put weather strips on glass roof and also forgot to put latch on roof. So I had to go back and forth to this dealership at least 6 times. If it had rained my corvette would have been totaled. If I had left without latch the roof would have flew off again and I'm 100% sure they would have tried to blame me. I had my roof replaced in the past by J.D autorepairs and they had a brand new roof no scratches in a week this place took 8 months. The so called manager is absolutely clueless. For some reason she wanted to piece together the roof from old parts of the destroyed roof. Of course that didn't work and she ended up having to get all new parts. I also had warned them about how easy the roof scratches and they ignored it and still put the glass roof on a piece of cardboard box. Then they bring it out to me with scratches, of course I'm not going to accept it with scratches. So instead they try to blame me for the scratches. I had to escalate the situation many times over a 8 month period with state farm to get a new roof, the shop kept saying it was on back order. So I had state farm get the information about where the shop was getting part from. Some how a few days later they have the part. I would never come back here. read more

I called and asked if I could be a cash pay repair on an estimate of about 15k. The lady was very belittling and said no they would only do insurance. Her attitude was a bit off. read more

I dropped my car off here because I got hit, but when I picked it up, I noticed more things wrong with the car than when I dropped it off originally, they didn't put my mirror on right, my back bumper wasn't put on right and they messed up my speaker wiring, and they even left tools in my car, so h dropped it off again a few days ago and normally body shops and places like this will wash your car, but no I picked it up and my car was filthy, it had grease all over it plus tools on the hood of my car, I would give this place a negative review if I could read more

They can NOT be trusted. We had paid the deposit but before they could start on the car it stopped running when we were going to take it in. We were about to arrange towing to the business but were told "we don't want the car if it doesnt run" and then LIED when confronted about saying that to me. The hood would not open due to the damage and we were afraid we might cause more damage in trying to open it that had not been observed on the already done estimate. So, we had to change shops but they have KEPT my deposit money. They told me they didn't want the car!! and have refused to refund the money. That is just WRONG! read more

7:39 AA & yelp.com Itook my 22 Tundra in for repair to Franks, was told by my insurance company they were very highly rated. The truck was T-boned on the drivers side between the fender and door. The top of the driver's door stuck out about 5 inches, fender was destroyed, bed was damaged also. After 5 or so months they told me it was finished. I took it home and started looking at it, it was the worst nightmare I've ever experienced! The headlights were installed wrong, the door had a huge gap, the bed was on crooked, the bumper was falling off. This truck had 4-K miles on it, it was brand new, when they took the bed off they destroyed the wires, this is just part of it. I took it back to them they did some adjustments but not much. I then took it to a Toyota dealer for inspection, that's when found out the frame was bent. The truck ended up being totaled. They tried to hide the damage. I hate writing something like this but I hope this saves someone from going through what I did. Don't ever trust anyone, get a post inspection if you have major damage to your vehicle. I exhausted my Collison and uninsured motorist policy. read more

Just wanted to give props to Frank's Collision Repair on Bay Area in front of Lupe Tortilla. They are new there; they just took over the location. It was Protech Collision Repair Center. They are a local outfit from Baytown. They also have locations in Crosby and Dayton. I needed body work on my car. These guys were on the list for State Farm. My problem was that I really needed a quick turnaround. I know eveeryone says that, but I explained the situation, and they were wonderful at making it happen. All OEM parts. Couldn't be happier. State Farm was excellent, too. Very smooth. They allow the shop to disassemble before submitting an estimate--probably because they've certified the shop--so everything was precise from the start, which speeded things up as well. read more

Frank's had my car for two weeks. Their original estimate was way short of what they charged my insurance company. A major issue was my special AFS headlight which had to be replaced twice after they tried unsuccessfully to put in a non-Mazda part that didn't fit. I was promised the car on a Friday as I needed to drive 1400 miles home beginning Saturday. They said maybe even Thursday. By Friday afternoon I just went out to them and they were trying to get the headlight to work. They swore to me that they wouldn't give me the car to drive that far if it weren't working perfectly. My cousin (a Spanish speaker) overheard the workers telling the estimators "it doesn't work" but they signed off on it anyway. I couldn't tell that the light didn't work right until later when it got dark. Bottom line: I drove the 1400 miles and a competent and skilled person ordered another headlight (the first one had been ruined by its incorrect placement-$1200!) in 20 minutes read more

FANTASTIC AUTO REPAIR!!! I backed into a pickup that had a trailer hitch attached to it and did damage to the trunk and bumper of my car. Frank's Auto repaired the trunk beautifully as well as the bumper, that has parking assist or computer buttons inside. My car looks brand new! Fantastic job ! Somebody in a big truck backed into the drivers side of my Lexus and left a pretty nasty dent and caused problems with both the back and the front doors functioning . Dropped it off and Franks and they were so kind and considerate . They called and kept me up to date on everything from what they're plan was , when they started, any glitches they ran into , and progress . My car looked flawless and no issues since getting it back. Plus as an added bonus they wiped down the inside of my car and shampooed the carpets . Highly recommend read more

I took my truck because of a collision to the repair center and they took it in saying that they could fix it 2 1/2 months later, it wasn't fixed... They told my insurance it was but they needed to send it out for a sublet repair at a suspension shop but the woman in charge of my claim said that she didn't wanna mess with it anymore... She was very rude to me plus I'm a disabled veteran and just wanted to get my truck repaired considering I am on a budget I needed to get it back for work... I asked to talk to a manager she said she was one, she was very rude to me, other repair people, and USAA... She was very unprofessional and was very rude to my wife also! you don't want these people to fix your vehicle they will lie on the estimates and will not make it right they just hang up on you! read more

Just left Frank's and let me first say I have been there before and so has my BF, never had an issue with them. Always pleased with their work. EXCEPT for today. I had an appointment to get an estimate on my car and the lady literally took 5 minutes to look at my car. Didn't put it in the air to make sure no other damage was done, just said it looked like just bumper damage, didn't know if the brackets were broke or anything else until it's broken down. DUHHHH that's why I freaking came in for an "ESTIMATE" to see exactly what damage was done and fine out a complete estimate would be. HER ESTIMATE IS EXACTLY WHAT MINE IS RIGHT NOW. I can look at a freaking car for 5 minutes and say the same shit. I am certain because I said I didn't know if i was having the work done there yet or not, that is exactly why it was a shitty look over. I already know someone that works there will apologize and tell me to call them and bring it up there again but NO NOW I WILL NOT BE having you fix my car. Go right ahead and get that approval from Liberty which it was already done, they sent me to you to have it fix, i was the one that wanted the estimate first. read more

Clear Lake Mazda recommend us to them because they stopped doing body work well our Mazda 6 had less than 13k miles when it was rear ended then pushed into a truck that had a trailer hitch which caused a lot of damage up front the back of the car faired better but the bottom line is the office people treated us super nice and the body work came out excellent it looks like if it was never crashed so thanks so much for the great work your shop just made a customer for life. read more

I went to this location to see if ProTech (previous operators) would fix some shoddy work, but the place was now Frank's. I went in anyway, since I was already there. They were very helpful and professional, and took the time to listen to what I was asking for. There was no insurance involved (this time) and Frank's agreed that the work done previously by ProTech was shoddy, and there would be a discount (the work was 8yrs old, btw). So they ended up doing minor body work (dings) and paint for the entire car, minus doors, roof, and rear bumper, because this is what we all came to agree on as the best bang for the buck on a total refresh. In the end, random people say the paint looks beautiful, or that the car looks awesome. Some guy driving down the street offered to buy it (!). It really just a beautiful car now, and it's all down to Frank's Collision Repair. I will not hesitate to go back for any of my body shop needs...or, put another way, there's no need to fear the body shop. These guys can do it, and it doesn't even cost that much. read more

Wanted to take the time to applaud this amazing company , and its employees. They were incredibly professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. Jordan was awesome. He came out, assessed the damage (even noticed a couple of things that escaped me), and gave me a tangible timeframe as to when I'd have my vehicle back. It literally took 3 days to finish the job. Upon arrival, they were able to take care of me with no hold ups. My vehicle was cleaned and detailed thoroughly, and had the appeal of a truck fresh off of the showroom floor. Unfortunately, I wrapped my brand new (still had the paper plates on it) 2019 Toyota RAV Adventure around a concrete pole. I was DEVASTATED. The whole drivers side was bashed in. I had it towed to Frank's Collision Repair - Clear Lake for repair. I was really nervous about how it would turn out and how it would look... if the paint would be able to be matched, etc. These people are awesome! A gentleman by the name of Paul handled my case from start to finish. He called me with updates throughout the whole process, reassuring me. He made sure the interior of my car was kept clean, brand new, in tact, even though they had to remove and replace both doors on the driver's side. I went to finally pick it up a week ago and was blown away at how good it looked. Everything was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If I ever need any vehicle body work done in the future, I will ONLY use Frank's. This is a reputable place that truly cares about giving you high quality repairs and top notch customer service.
