Hitches were repainted, roof was thoroughly washed and scrubbed, all decals restored to luster...I could not recommend them more!!! As to pricing, he was $200-300 less than three other bids!!! Frank came and detailed my car yesterday and when I went to the store later the only reason I knew it was my car was that I knew where I had parked. It looked great! We had been on a long road trip a couple weeks prior so the front of my SUV was covered with bug bodies. Because there are wires across my driveway there was an abundance of bird by-products present. On top of the unusual was the grime that had accumulated over the past few months. Frank was prompt, fast and thorough. My car hasn't looked this good in ages! I would definitely recommend him. Buyer beware. Frank is the only one that is allowed to be late. Frank gives a 1 hour window of when he can be there but you are not allowed to be 3 minutes late. Last time I used Frank, I was a few minutes late and gave him an extra $20 for his few minutes. I stopped using Frank when he raised his prices without telling me. $175 for a wax. Amazing that he can wash and wax an F-250 in about an hour. You certainly don't get what your paying for. He also stated that he had the price increase in effect for about a year, yet I have cancelled checks that prove he is lying. His normal $50 wash is average. I would compare it to a high school kid trying to start his own business. You need to expect short cuts inside and out. Overall, it seems to me that Frank has lost his zest that he may have had when he started doing this years ago. If you are "ok" with an average detail at full price, then you are in the right spot. read more

The owner of this business refused to do my second car (2vouchers purchased) using the excuse that I was 5 minutes late getting the second car to him. HE was 15 minutes late for our appointment. He CHEWED me out when he called to ask where the second car was saying I did not respect his time and I was making him late for his second appointment. He gives himself a 2 hour window for appointment times so the claim that I was making him late was nonsense! I would not have minded taking 5 minutes off of services for the second car for my tardiness - but it's ridiculous to completely refuse service that I had already paid for. He only spent an hour detailing the first car - obviously this is not even a thorough detailing. Also, if you live in north county, he only makes appts on Monday's for the area. It does not say anything about this in the voucher. When I pointed this out, he covered himself saying it says, "subject to availability". This guy is obviously not about any type of customer service. He is only interested in taking your money and if your lucky, he'll give you'll get a car washed. Edited to add - The comments from the business owner are LIES. Still not sure??? See the other one-star review. Why would anyone make these horrible reviews??? Well, if that is what $165 get - that's a waste of money, I can get that for ~$25 at the local gas station... I loved everything! The service, the attention to detail, and especially the price. I haven't seen my car this clean in years. The paint is as smooth as the day I bought the car. He even cleaned the part under the wheel wells. I did a lot of research and found the prices were better than any other mobile detail in San Diego. I can see why I had to wait a couple days to set my appointment because he is the best in town, definitely worth the wait. He came to my office, grabbed the keys, cleaned my car while I was working, and a short while later I saw the car was immaculate. This is my 4th attempt to find a good mobile detailer in San Diego. I have been using Frank for years now. I found him through a Groupon and even after the initial discounted rate he never charged me much more. He is always on time and does a complete job. What great service. I purchased a discount on Groupon and called to schedule my apointment with FRank. I left a message and received a return call immediately. I was able to schedule my service within a couple of days. Frank called to let me know he could be early to my appointment. What a nice surprise. I wondered how he would finish my vehicle in the 45 minutes he suggested it would take. What another surprise that he finished in the time he suggested. Frank did a really nice job on my car. It was shiny and looked great. He gave me some suggestions about how to care for my vehicle which was a nice extra touch. I purchased 2 vouchers from a Living Social deal...good luck getting an appointment...while I realize the "first come, first serve..." basis that is CLEARLY listed in the terms of the deal, "2-3 wks out???" I called twice, the second time in an attempt to see if there might possibly be a cancellation (I didn't think so for the 2 days later that I was calling about) I was greeted with an abrupt, almost insulted tone that I would even think I would be able to redeem my voucher that soon...I WAS in fact, asking if there were to be a cancellation, I would like to leave my # for him to call and let me take the spot...THAT'S ALL...I work on appt's myself and to have a "back-up" in the event of a cancellation is great! No loss of money...most people would get that, but he proceeded to explain to me that he would have to move an appt out of his schedule in order to accomodate me and that THAT "wouldn't be fair to my clients..." well Frank, I will consider the $128 I paid you for 2 vouchers an EXPENSIVE LESSON LEARNED...I will consider my money a contribution to your pocket that I will not redeem after the rude, and insulting tone you used to explain your inability to understand the basics of business when it involves appt's. I will have you know that you FAILED to gain prospective clients...(that being myself and my husband.) My recourse is in being able to write this review...word-of-mouth is a powerful tool that can inform the consumer...I took advantage of the voucher to screen a prospective mobile detailer for my business and my husband's...hopefully, you will learn an important lesson about LISTENING to a prospective client... read more

Hands down the best auto detail in san diego. The guy showed up right on time. Went over my entire car and answered all my lengthy questions, he definitely knew what he was talking about. I told him I wanted the most expensive detail because my car was filthy and he said the car wasn't that bad and can wait for a full detail. He recommended a less expensive package and said my car would look amazing after, he was right. Very honest which goes a long way in my book. I was shocked with the low prices too. I plan on using Franks Mobile detail once a month on a scheduled time. He even got a few scratches off without charging me. I will never use anyone else. Be careful when using other mobile detail places because they use a spray wax that only lasts and protests for a week or two. Frank's Showed me all the products he uses and said it was the best in the market. I could tell by the results. I highly recommend you try Frank's if you want your car looking good! read more

I'm going to be a bit of a change from these other posts. I purchased two Groupon detailings for both of our cars. Frank was here on time, as people have said. He was very personable. He cleaned both cars in short order, but I would have to say that they are FAR from detailed. They were washed and vacuumed, but not on any level that I haven't done myself at a do-it-yourself carwash. I was expecting a detail job on our cars and had to get out the Q-tips and Armourall myself to get it finished. I know that these were discounted coupons, but they were also my introduction to his service for future appointment. I have to say that I can detail my own cars with more detail than what I experienced today. And since I don't have the time to do it myself, I thought I had paid him to do it for us. read more
