So I am a dog mom with a 125 lb fluffy butt, 10-year-old, American Akita and a 60 lb, 8-year-old Black Lab mix and they believe in leaving their mark on every inch of my car. My bf arranged a full detail for my car. Awesome Mobile came to my office and did the entire detail while I worked. They shampooed my cloth covered seats and scrubbed the weather-proof mats. They got every nook and cranny including the embedded dog fluff in the carpeted panels and in the corners of the windshield and rear windows. They buffed out small scratches all over my car and clayed the exterior as well. My mouth legitimately fell open when I saw my car...it looked brand new when they were done! Never had service by this person or business but the way he drives in the freeways is atrocious and plain dangerous. He cut me and other vehicles off getting the 805 with his little while car. He realized several of us were taking photos of him since he has his business information on his vehicle and phone number. He has no regard for others in the freeway and will cause an accident soon hurting someone or himself. If his ethics and ways of being are being revealed on how he drives and how he treats others in the freeway, makes me wonder if he is as good with his work ethics. Sergey and Jorge's team are phenomenal! My car was in need of a detailed clean and I noticed some black tar on the body of my car that I wasn't able to get off. When I called, Sergey was extremely professional and went over my concerns over the phone. I was able to schedule an appointment within two days and he updated me via text until their arrival. Sergey reviewed my car and further explained in detail the professional wash service. The exterior included the wash, clay to remove decontamination, buffing and polishing to remove the tar, and wax; the interior included steaming, dusting, and leather conditioning. The pricing is on the higher end, but well worth it. Not only were they able to remove the tar and finish the entirety of the service within three hours, but my car looked and smell brand new; I was beyond ecstatic! Sergey did an excellent interior/exterior detail on my Mini Cooper! I live in South Mission Beach, where the parking is very tight. He parked his detailing van inside my garage, & then parked my car just outside my garage for the detail. He didn't even need to use my water, & there was zero mess when he was done. He showed up within the hour time frame he promised, & the job took roughly three hours. I won't say the price was cheap (@ $450), but the job was very well done, & everything in San Diego is expensive! read more

They're responsive which is great. Almost $400 for a detail seems like too high of a price because they missed big things like trash in the driver's door and left water spots in some areas of my car. The rims were still dirty too. The cleaners were pretty young so it may just be inexperience but this was a disappointing experience and I will need to try another business in the future. read more

Fun fact : 2nd time here ! - I wanted to give my baby a wash and a wax and looked no further than awesome mobile detail! The process from start to finish was very smooth. What better way to do a car wash than have your car right outside your home and they come to you? Sergey , the business owner replied to my question for a quote very quickly and we exchanged a few messages before setting up a day and time. I had some questions about ceramic spray vs regular wax and while it was a bit more expensive , it was worth it ! He answered all my questions and remained professional. I had two cars washed, waxed, and vacuumed and I loved how Sergey and his team went above and beyond to get all the nooks and crannies. The car looks so good , the tires and wheel dressing is spectacular and I really appreciated how he walked through what he was going to do and what to expect. In the end, he walked through what he found ( any scuffs), again what was applied, and asked if I had any questions. We have kids and dogs, we have not been the best about keeping our vehicle clean ..... you'd never know we had either with how great of a job they did. Repeat customer and was not disappointed. I bought a new car and wanted to make sure I protected the paint. I reached out to Sergey for the ceramic coating. He let me know that the Cquatz Package would provide me what I wanted in protection. I thought a new car couldn't look better but I was wrong! The car looks stunning. It is a dark blue and grayish metallic paint. At and my concerns were how darker color cars can look with scratches and swirl marks. After the treatment the car looks completely different. My Prius has gone through a 2 week road trip and definitely needed some attention. AMD has great customer service! There I was doin my lyft action. Picked up 6 young people out celebrating their graduation from college. 3 of the six went into mf poltergeist mode in the back of the whip‍. These guys did a PHENOMENAL job on my 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The floors of my car had sustained water damage and some mold growth due to disconnected sunroof drain tubes and I was anxious to have the carpeting cleaned ASAP. I contacted Awesome Mobile Detail via Yelp for a quote and I got a reply within 15 minutes. Sergey answered all of my questions promptly and I set up an appointment to have a full interior/exterior detail service for the next day. Adam and Thaven arrived at 7AM on the dot and I walked them through all of my concerns (which were many, considering I've never had my car detailed in the 9 years I've owned it). Since I live in an apartment with only assigned parking spaces for residents, they moved my car to street parking for me. I was told that it would take approximately 3 hours to complete and that they'd call when they were done. Sergey called me at 11 to inform me that it was finished (so it took 4 hours, which I don't blame them because it was gross). He went through the whole process with me, explaining everything that was done in detail. My poor neglected car looks, smells, and feels INCREDIBLE and I can't thank Sergey, Adam, and Thaven enough for giving it a new lease on life. So I've owned my humble little Prius for about 4 years now-- it's gotten me through college and more, and I figured it could go for some pampering. Off to Yelp to search-- most detailing service providers had quotes in between 100-500, and I really had no idea what I was looking for. However, Awesome Mobile Detail had some really good reviews & their pictures look like they service a lot of luxury cars, so I figured why not give my not-so-luxury car the same treatment? With a little bit of back and forth, they really went above and beyond and were able to schedule a same-day appointment which I REALLY appreciate, as I don't get a lot of days off and really needed a mobile detailer who could come to me. They got here about 20 minutes late but texted me beforehand, plus I didn't mind since it was a last-minute booking. Jorge, my detailing technician, pulled up in a company-branded van and greeted me warmly. He was very professional and polite & worked out where we would get the work done, especially since I live in an apartment complex that doesn't have a lot of space to work with & side streets are typically full. So for those of you who are living in apartments, they definitely can work with your location with no problems. He went through the explanation of the cleaning process with me, asked if I had any more questions, and I left him to it. Jorge started at 1:30 ish and ended at about 3:50 PM. I went outside to check out his work and was really pleased with it-- I had a ton of leaves and pine needles along the driver side mats from years of getting in and out, and evidently I had a few spills from drinks & groceries that must have tilted during driving that he was able to get out. My SO had a rusty old bike that he would toss in the back, which would transfer its rust stains onto the fabric interior-- Jorge was able to get the worst of the stains out so my car no longer looks like I murdered someone and stuffed them in my trunk. Still a little spots here and there, but they are so faded and light in comparison to what they looked like before-- I know that they were several years old, so I was glad when he was able to get them out. The carpets practically looked brand new and fluffy, and I can't remember the last time the interior of the doors looked so nice. I cannot say enough about the professionalism & customer service of Sergey and his team! From responding to a quote request within the hour to the completed job two days later and everything in between. I have a 2006 Lexus IS250 with 170,000K hard driven miles on her. She hasn't been neglected, but most def needed a FULL detail... I hooked her up with the Premium treatment. Adam confirmed the time & location the night before. Upon arrival, he walked me through the process, went over any concerns - explaining places where results may not be 110% due to current wear/condition & let me know approx how long it would take. This company cares more about clean cars then you do and that's pretty awesome. I started really going to gym recently and I really didn't have a good system down so I would "gym" then I would "car" and so inevitably my car had this gym smell and I could not stand it. That is now no more it looks great but more importantly it smells brand-new. I like the deep deep clean. Cheers. I just bought my Honda Civic Hatchback last week, and really wanted to find someone to put on paint sealant to protect the color. It's a unique color that changes in the light, and at night. I searched all over yelp, and found AMD and Sergey! Sergey is awesome, and did a great job along with Thaven. Even though I just got my car last week at the dealership, he was able to point out minor scratches that were a result of poor handling from the dealership! They were an hour late to my appointment.... This is just not cool. Because they were late, they missed some little things. But, when your business is "detailing" it really is all about the "details." I took a picture of the rims after they were done with the car. The bit they missed was the portion that isn't visible from above. You'd have to use a mirror to inspect the area while the car is parked but once the car moves, WHOOP - THERE IT IS. DETAILS. They also cleaned my windows pretty nicely but then didn't roll the windows down to finish the job. So, there is a small, maybe 1/8" dirt line along the section of the window that tucks into the seal. DETAILS. They did a fairly nice job with the two cars. They just missed on the small details and missing the appointment by an hour. Overall, I was not "wowed." I appreciated getting my cars cleaned up but was just expecting slightly more in the end. I'd try them again, but I'd make sure there was going to be plenty of daylight and I'd inspect a few "put of immediate sight" areas better. ---------------- An edit, just 4 hours later? Yes. Not just an edit. I have received a call, a text and the two messages attached to this review. It is clear that Sergey takes his customer satisfaction seriously. He seems to think it unfair that I waited to make a note of my dissatisfaction. He seems to think it is unfair to knock my rating down because he was not given the opportunity to "fix" my dissatisfaction. I have no doubt Sergey and his team would have returned the next day. I can tell from their passion that they would go out of their way to make a customer happy. I even noted in my unfavorable review that I'd try them again. My review was noting a specific set of circumstances on a particular day. I think Sergey and his crew might be happy to see a review that is not just pure glowing but gives them honest feedback that they can learn from. Not every customer has the time to wait for someone two times in order to get a job done. I am one of them. As for the missed spots on my particular job, I am uploading pictures. There seems to be some confusion on what I should have expected from the $59 mobile wash. It was not a "detailing." I do still expect the dirt line to be removed from the windows and all faces on the rims to have been wiped. Maybe I am asking too much. ---------- I added a star. They wore me down. Great detail work and truly this review would be 5 stars except for one major drawback which I find totally unacceptable in the way you treat a new customer. I had received an email confirming the exact price when the reservation was made. The guy shows up early for the appointment, does a really nice job and then it happened. Just the sort of thing that you do not expect. I do not appreciate being blindsided. And this is just the type of thing that quickly turns a potentially great customer relationship into a very sour relationship, hence this lengthy review. He hands me the bill and says will you be paying by cash or check. I say credit card, as it clearly states on their web site all the credit cards they accept. Then he says, there will be an additional fee if you use a credit card. Now at this point, I show him the confirmation email and there is no mention of any additional fee if you use a credit card. Now it gets worse. He starts arguing with me and making excuses about how the email is from just a secretary and he is just a worker. I also dislike excuses. By the way, this is what it says on their web site. "What methods of payments would you accept? You may pay for Awesome Mobile Detail service by cash, check (personal or business) or credit/debit card (VISA, MASTER CARD only)." They also show a picture of PayPay, but no mention of it here. And definitely no mention of any additional fee. Come on people. This cannot be the first time you have dealt with this issue. If you are going to confirm a specific price, you better make sure that if you plan to charge more accepting a credit card for payment, you say so up front. Not AFTER you do the work and present the bill. This is what I find totally unacceptable and will not put up with. So, of course, he ended up charging me the original quoted price. But, by then it was too late to repair the damage he had done. Bottom line: watch out when these guys quote you a price and make sure it will be the same price no matter what form of payment you decide to use. Buyer Beware! read more

I told them that we are in a drought and wondered if they will take the car to a car wash but was told it isn't necessary and that they will not even use water! The car took 4 hours to finish and looked better than when I got it new! So I guess make sure you account for the time it will take to finish the job, it's not a quick 30 minutes car detail. Communication was great with Sergey, the owner, he called on the day of service and gave an ETA. Explained how long it takes to finish the job and texted me 10 minutes before the car was done for me to inspect it.
