Tried chicken parm sandwich and a slice of pizza. Chicken parm a breaded, fried chicken breast slathered with sweet tomato sauce and then broiled to melt mozzarella cheese. All served in a fresh, crusty hoagie roll. This is exactly how this classic should be done and it is delicious. Pizza perfect balance of cheese and sauce, crust baked till crispy on bottom and chewy in top. As good a slice as I've had. Nothing fancy here but it's very good pizzeria fare. read more

Their delivery time stinks. They tell you your food will be to you at one time, and it doesn't come till almost an hour later (Ice Cold). When you call all, they tell you is it's the driver, we only have one. Same excuse all the time. They only give you a 10% credit off your cold dinner that they charge a fortune for. Warning : Spanish Owners of Pizzerias. They will nickle and dime you for everything. Including charging you $3.50 for each soda you order when it cost them 20 cents a glass. Charging you $2.00 if you want pasta sause on your pasta and $2.00 for an extra piece. That's what happned to us Sunday night when 3 of looked at our bill. First they never said anything about the surcharges because if we had known, we would of said no. Second its illegal for them to charge us anything without our permission, that's what prices are on the menu. And any other Franks Pizza owned by a non Spanish owner, we never saw these outrageous charges, ontop of that a 3.5% credit card surcharge. Everyone already knows the price of the credit card, the bread was already in the price of the food, so what they do, is try to get you for every little thing. We told 5 families and they said what? The food is nothing special, its just old Franks Pizza, the interior is old and never updated. Spanish owners will not spend a dime in a place after the bought it, that's why the place looks like some thing out of the 1980s. It was the same old routine that they were playing for 40 years about the food. It was nothing special, you got this soup that 3 spoons that you were done. Garlic bread that they took from an ordinary box reheated it and serviced it. Next time I'll drive a bit and go to Anthony F.'s at least the food is good there and there is no nickle and diming like Franks Pizza. IMPORTANT : Speaking about nickle and diming you. Look at your bill before paying. They will charge you the credit card fee up front without knowing if your paying via cash or credit card. They fail disclose the pecentage of the credit card processing fee on the check, on the menu, or near the register, will be reporting this to the State of NJ. I really wanted to like this place. Neighbors spoke well of it and decided to give it TWO tries. It was somewhat disappointing but I'd be willing to give them another chance: Negatives: The sauce & cheese on the pizza I found super salty. If they would tone down on the saltiness & maybe add a hint of sweetness on their sauce it would go a long way. The calamari we ordered could use better breading but it was probably the best out of everything we ordered. The wings were pretty bad. It was soaked in sauce with zero crunch to them. Huge lack luster and the blue cheese was nothing to write home about. HOWEVER, if you order the wings dry with the sauce on the side? Very well worth getting. Positives: Good customer service. They were willing to give us 1/2 spicy and 1/2 bbq on one order of wings. The thickness in their pizza dough along with their cheese to sauce ratio was pretty good. Calamari was good. Unexpectedly good. Stopped for lunch with a hungry crowd that lives nearby and had an excellent lunch. We has the trio appetizers mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and the zucchini sticks, they were very good, crispy and flavorful. Ordered a stromboli it was huge! Extremely poor customer service. Staff is rude and orders are frequently incorrect. Quality of the food has deteriorated considerably. One pizza maker touched the cash register and cash then went on to make pizza with unwashed hands. Stopped here on our way back to Milford from JFK airport. It was Saturday night, in the summer, and it was fairly late about 8:30 and the four of us didn't want fast food so we pulled into the parking lot and checked this place out. This establishment does not serve alcohol, but there is a liquor store next door and they don't mind if you bring your own beverage, so a friend of mine and I went next door and bought a nice big bottle of Sam Adams. I ordered a panini with prosciutto, mozzarella and peppers. It was very good. My friend made her own version of a seafood poorboy with fried clams. OMG. It was so good! My other friend had a chicken sandwich and it had balsamic vinaigrette on it which made the bread very soggy so she ended up just having the chicken and peppers. My other friend had the vegetable sub, which wasn't too bad. The service was good and the food wasn't bad. I would go back again and I think I may this summer. read more

I am writing this review many years after the fact. I have eaten here many, many times throughout my childhood/high school years; I'm not sure how my family got into this place as it is not very close to our home, but we did, am I'm glad. I have very fond memories of this Frank's. The garlic bread is delicious; you can see all the little bits of real garlic sprinkled inside. The salads are your everyday, run-of-the-mill salad. The one thing I must rave about is the chicken sorrentina. Perfectly cooked chicken, delicious, creamy vodka sauce, and your choice of pasta, topped with mozzarella and parmasan. I've never actually had the pizza here (go figure), but it always looked really yummy and fresh. If this place is anything like it was 6 years ago, then I would recommend it to snyone looking for an inexpensive meal. It is incredibly group/family friendly, and the service is fine. read more

We ordered some trays of food for our Christmas party. The ordering process was super easy, we paid ahead of time and arranged what day and time we'd pick the food up. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Yesterday the food was waiting for us when we went to pick it up, we were out the door in 5 minutes. The food was so delicious and they gave us very generous servings. We always order pizza and sandwiches from here but have never gotten dinners before. After years of being a customer, I am finally done with this pizza place. Their quality had gone completely down. I have noticed the downward spiral of their quality for quite some time now, but the other day, Frank's lost a long term customer. I ordered a plain Sicilian pie, but it was more of a thin crust. This issue and the fact that to much sauce was used, you could barely even pick up a slice without it falling apart. The sauce itself had a very peculiar taste. They also cut back on the quality of the cheese and the amount that they use. They used to be good and consistent, I just don't know what happened to them. read more

When we first moved to town everyone said a must is this place. Unfortunatly we were highly dissapointed. It was OK. I am full blown Italian and know GREAT pizza from OK pizza and this was just OK. The food is pretty good and the waitresses are super nice, but the owners attitudes leaves something to be desired. For example they gave us a price for a large number of pizzas. When we called to actually place the order they raised the price considerably and claimed they never told us the discounted price even though there were 3 of us there who heard her say it. They'll also basically force customers out an hour before closing by flicking the lights on and off and cleaning up everything around where you're sitting. This is just the owners, not the employees. I've been going to this Frank's for years last night what a horrible experience with the waiter we had he should be in the kitchen not on the floor..I'm used to the females their fast and and know what their doing. The waiter took 15 mins to come to the table then the same for our drinks I had to ask for our apps from the counter he forgot them 30 mins later my salad and bread came then immediately our meals then the apps. He asked if everything was ok I said no we got or apps last he asked "Were they supposed to come first?" My dish was fine my grandson had a bowl of sauce I asked what it was.. well under 3 cups of sauce were the ravioli's the chicken fingers and fries were way over cooked and cool when we got them. The table behind us was putting on their coats when the waiter came out and said "I forgot your bread do you want it" they declined as they left. We arrived for dinner before six and had the choice of a booth or table. The young waitresses were eager to take our order but we needed more time. We had brought wine and ordered water around. The glasses for the water were large and the wine glasses where a small. The appetizers were average. The salad had green leaf lettuce, a few carrots, two or three pieces of onion, one slice of cucumber and half of a slice of tomato, again I'd give it an average score at most. The Garlic bread was below expectations as it was not toasted, buttered, & garliced. The dinners were average portion and flavor The worst part about this visit was the fingernail in my salad and the fact that there was no bathroom for a girl/woman to use as The woman's bathroom was out of order in the men's bathroom only had a functioning urinal the toilets we're also out of order. I had to ask the waitress to take the side salad off of our bill instead of giving us a cannoli for the fingernail in my salad I think this restaurant is best for pizza take out only read more

Love Franks ! Family owned everyone knows you by name and remembers what you like / don't like. Meals are always perfect and large portions. Also a large selection of fresh slice pies as well for a quick grab and go when your in a rush. They have a formal back room too if you want to have a more formal setting.
