Mhew, not a fan of this shop. The decor and seating by far are better than the pizza they sell here. Pizza is so thin and big that you can barely hold it and keep it intact without it falling over into a hot mess in your hands. I'd rather they make normal slices that are a bit thicker and sturdier so you can actually hold it to eat and enjoy it or even fold it. The way they make the slices you can't fold or hold it without it falling apart or flopping over with hot cheese getting on your hands. Service is top notch and the decor are the only good qualities about this pizza joint but you come here for pizza not nice seating and smiling faces who are ready to serve you but serve you sloppy crappy pizza. Only reason I don't give this place 1 star is because I haven't tried any of their hot dishes but based on my pizza experience I'm skeptical that those dishes are any better. read more

Frank's has been great since the late 90s or so. It is some of the best pizza I've had over half a lifetime living in NY and NJ. They have such a variety of pizza as well as their infamous garlic knots. I recommend their buffalo chicken pizza, plain, and pepperoni pizzas. Any time I am in town (once a decade or so now), I have to stop in here. They used to prep pizzas for me to drive from NY to MI to be cooked there. read more

Hands down the worst meal I've ever been served at any restaurant Ever. I went in for lunch, ordered Baked Penne Bolognese, and my guest had a Sausage and Egg hero. I feel like I was served something that was days old and heated up in a microwave. The bolognese sauce was pizza sauce with tiny bits of ground meat and likely bad mushrooms, which would explain why I kept thinking I was eating mold. The sausage and egg hero was not much better. Dried, thin slices of pizza sausage and way over cooked eggs. We asked for the check and left most all of my meal and 1/2 the hero on the table. I've been nauseous since I left there. Can't really review them, because we did not eat there. But what happened was we looked them up on yelp, found they were close by and looked pretty good. We drove there with my two granddaughters sat down at a table. A worker walked by but did not greet us. We sat for 10 minutes. Nobody came over so we finally got up to leave and I just yelled thank you bye, and all of a sudden a worker runs out and says what's the problem what's the problem and my wife said well nobody came over to us, and she said well you're supposed to come up to the counter. Will you see that's the problem they had no sign, indicating that we had to go to the counter, there were menus on the table, so for all we knew they were table service. But they had no other customers place look like it had, and served a meal in the week and we figured we didn't want to eat there so we left. read more

My husband got a wrap and thought it was pretty good. I ordered a Sicilian slice which came after the other items and I was told it was because they had just made a new pie and it would be out shortly. Pizza was great, the chicken was good quality which is always a gamble with pizza places. But the garlic on the garlic knots taste off, like they used cheap jarred garlic. Chicken Marsala slice was awesome. I was skeptical of the thick crust but it had a light dough with a crispy outside, almost like deep dish pizza. The garlic knots are unique. They are literally 50% garlic, 50% knot. They taste very good but you'll definitely want to brush your teeth before you talk to anyone after eating these. I felt they were just missing some Parmesan cheese. They bake the knots when you order them. Most of the place is waiter service. DW and I used to go here weekly when it first opened. We'd eat the same thing every week... The Penne a la Vodka. The vodka sauce is home made with plenty of creme and the bits of prosciutto add something a little different. The Garlic bread that comes with the meal is also really good. I think this place changed ownership a while back and the first few times we went the service didn't seem to be as good. Soon after this we stopped our weekly visits. We now go back every once and a while and the Penne is still our dish of chioce. The prices are really reasonable as well. The service has been better the past few times we have gone but with so much variety in the area now we're always looking for something different.
