We stopped into Frank's Pizza for lunch with a group, and it was a great choice since everyone was able to find something they wanted. It's located in the North East Plaza, which can get pretty busy, but there was plenty of free parking available. The dining room offers first-come, first-served seating. There are a decent number of tables, but I could see it being a little difficult to find seating for a larger group during peak lunch or dinner hours. The menu has an impressive variety, including pizza by the slice, personal pizzas, large pies, appetizers, wings, hot and cold subs, salads, dinner platters, desserts, and more. One thing to keep in mind is that some of the specialty pizzas are only available as whole pies rather than by the slice. Since I eat gluten-free, my options were fairly limited, so I ordered a salad. It was fresh, but fairly basic. I'd love to see a few more gluten-free offerings on the menu to make it a more inclusive option for diners with dietary restrictions. Several people in our group ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and the slices were enormous. Everyone enjoyed it, and most were completely full after just one slice. The staff was friendly, our food came out quickly, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Overall, Frank's Pizza is a solid neighborhood pizzeria with generous portions, friendly service, and a menu that offers something for just about everyone. While I hope they expand their gluten-free options in the future, everyone in our group left happy, and I'd gladly stop back if I'm in the North East area. read more

I ordered a pizza on line and when I went to pick it up they gave it to the wrong person. I showed them the order number and receipt. When I finally got the pizza I ordered (They had to make it again.) It taste quality was not there. I use to love this place!!! I even use to get their food at Sykesville area as well. If you want good pizza in north east, either go to Bella's pizza down town north east, Pizza Hut, hell, go to a bar and get a slice of pizza. Have your toddler make the garlic bread. Trust me, it will be better then this place. The staff was rude, the pizza was disgusting, and the garlic bread was as rubbery as a tire. This place was all around a hard one to deal with and I DO NOT recommend. If those few things we had were that bad, and ours were basics, I would be terrified to see what the rest taste like. I thought it was really good. Very reasonably priced. Cool staff that are friendly and smile. The taste was good. I really have no complaints. I'm sure as they grow, They could invest in better tables and a more welcoming environment and maybe hire some staff to clean bathrooms more frequently. Frank's Pizza is close by, and I stopped in in my search for good New York style pizza. Their Pizza is pretty good, not exactly what I was looking for but I wasn't disappointed. However, their cheese steak sandwiches are awesome! I believe this is one of the best cheesesteaks I've had in a while! The full size or regular cheese steak is enough to make three. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I know they're busy, if you spend time there eating you will realize just how incredibly busy they are. They don't offer delivery and the restaurant itself is not as clean as it could be. I think they need to spend a little more time on cleaning but with the volume I can understand it. First time trying this place, I overheard people speaking about it opening back up apparently they were close for sometime and it just so happens yesterday while I visited was the first day back open. I have to be honest.. the sauce to pizza ratio was off... bad the undercarriage was great and the crunch was nice even the way they warmed the 2 slices I got was excellent not hot enough to burn my tongue or roof of my mouth but not warm where I'm asking them to put it back in the oven. Arrived at 8:40 on a Saturday and was told all I got is slices (which looked as though they'd been sitting there in excess of an hour) and then states " my grill is already clean" and I saw that it was so I guess you can't complain about the cleanliness of the cooktop. Second time here. This place is low key and really good. Had a meatball sub the first time which was amazing this time i went for a cheesesteak. I came here looking for a Philly cheese steak. What I found was instead a huge sandwich with too much meat, not enough cheese and a slightly bland taste. When they ask if you want the sandwich large say no! I got the large sandwich and fries and it was way more than I could eat. They have the "choose your own coke adventure" machines with a million soda personalization options. Menu is pretty standard pizza joint fare. I've only ever gotten pizza. Got stuck in terrible holiday traffic so I got off the highway and ended up in a shopping center where I discovered a 35 year old pizza spot called Frank's Pizza. Frank's has more than pizza and you have the option to get subs, pasta, sandwiches, burgers and speciality pizza. I had a slice of pepperoni and a pizza roll. The pizza is a flatter NY style pizza and tasted really good. The pizza roll was filled with mozzarella and pepperoni and tasted great as well. If you ever some how end up in North East MD and are in the mood for pizza give Frank's a try. read more

A local landmark almost: they've been serving food to the North East area for I think a good 30+ years! It's so nice to see a good family-run business. Such a nice change from the boring Pizza Huts and such. I love their pizza! Excellent crust and sauce. I used to always order the Romano Ranch specialty one or just plain cheese. Great steak fries! The food itself was pretty good. The Pizza is better than any Franchise pizza you will get for sure. I've never had the cheese steaks but I hear good things The issue is with the front counter staff. I always greet employees at any business I go to to show they are appreciated because I've worked on customer service for 7 years myself and some people can be downright nasty. But I always remained professional and polite because I believe in exceptional professionalism and prided myself on my work with the public. Well that's not the case with the staff here. The lady up front can't be bothered to return a simple greeting or make eye contact when talking looking down or away from th customer. She also doesn't seem to have patience for simple questions about menu items or give a customer time to decide what they want. This has always been THE pizza place in town. I've eaten here a lot over the years. It's definitely a family favorite but recently the service hasn't been what you'd expect from this place. Stopped by Frank's for a quick lunch during a work day. Service was excellent and the place was very clean. You can watch them as they cook and it was very fast. However, I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The "chicken" could have wawa, I'm not sure. The roll wasn't bad at all. If Ramen noodle company made sauce, this would be it.
