Stopped in last minute for dinner and spotted seats at the bar. We ordered cocktails and the crab dip. Drinks were good and the dip came out hot and bubbly. Loved the cheese, crab meat and the buttered toast. It was a little salty but very good. For dinner I had the Steakhouse Pit Beef & Fries and my husband had the Ribeye. My Pit Beef was so tender and the au jus was very good. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly - he loved every bite. We decided to share The Big Fat Carrot Cake - wow! Every bite was amazing. The biggest slice of cake we have ever had. We enjoyed our dinner and dessert. From start to finish our service, drinks and food were perfect. Looking forward to coming back for brunch!

This restaurant pleasantly surprised us. It has two sides - a loud bar side that is fun, and a quieter restaurant side, where we dined. They have a large menu and the food we ordered was delicious, from steak to sushi! The presentation of the food was also very beautiful. Highly recommend a road trip to the cute town of North East to check it out!

AMAZING! This place is pricey but worth every penny. Hands down the best steak I've ever had. My husband is also super picky about his cut of steaks and how they're prepared and cooked, and he couldn't stop talking about it! Very cute inside with a bar and nice seating. Low light ambiance, perfect for a special date. The only thing I wasn't super keen with was the ala carte menu. Besides that the food and drinks were delicious!!! This is a must try! The service was also friendly and very professional.

This is a restaurant with excellent sushi--and surprisingly poor hospitality. Let's start with what worked. The sushi was genuinely outstanding. Clean, fresh, thoughtfully prepared. The chef was knowledgeable and gracious, even explaining curing methods and fish sourcing. That part of the experience felt intentional and refined. Everything else felt transactional. Policies here are unusually restrictive for a restaurant charging premium prices: * No wine tastings--only half-bottles or bottles. * Wasabi costs extra. * Splitting a steak requires a $10 "extra plate" fee. But policies alone aren't what sank the experience. Service did. My wife approached the bar to ask a simple question about the Chardonnay selection. The bartender abruptly snapped at her to move away from the service area--no greeting, no explanation, just curt dismissal. When the manager arrived, instead of listening, he immediately defended the bartender, saying "everyone loves him" and that "there are two sides to every story." He then questioned us for not knowing what constituted a service area--despite there being no signage. There was scoffing, defensiveness, and zero apology. That's not how guest concerns should be handled--especially when guests are spending $70+ on shared entrees and being charged extra for plates. The octopus dish was cooked well but paired with a tomato sauce that felt mismatched and distracting. Execution without cohesion. If you go strictly for sushi and keep interactions minimal, you may enjoy yourself. But if you expect warmth, guidance, or accountability when service goes wrong, this place will disappoint. Premium pricing demands premium hospitality. That's where Steak & Main falls short.

Nice buzz for a Monday. Nice Hostess. Pleasant server with good timing. Had sushi, sashimi, raw oysters and, oysters on horseback. All very tasty. He had the filet, I tried the duck. Both properly prepared. Cheesecake was large, outstanding, with generous graham crust and brûlée top. The only miss was the risotto was considerably undercooked, much more than al dente. I asked for a comp dessert and they declined. A little short-sighted considering our tab for 2 was $200. Will return but not right away.

Brought my wife here for her birthday. First time. Everything was great - service, special touches , apps, sides but I have to take a star off for my steak. This is supposed to be "the best steaks in the USA" and , with little alcohol, the tab was $300 including tip. I've eaten a proper NY strip and this wasn't it. I used my hand to signal to the waitress how thick I expected from a "steakhouse" and she agreed. I travel and entertain clients for work all the time so I know what a proper NY Strip looks like. I also always get my steak rare. It was a strikeout on both. Steak was definitely med rare and thin like the steak you get on a Friday special somewhere. My wife's rib eye looked great and it was her birthday so I wasn't messing around with sending it back. Other friends have said they've enjoyed other items here so maybe we will come back. Last thing - I love carrot cake. Shout out to the pastry chef - it was amazing.

Delicious food, some of the best steaks that we have ever had! Service was stellar. We sat at a 2 person booth in the bar area on a Friday night, it was crowded but got to enjoy the bar specials plus the fine dining menu.

This was our second time to this bar and restaurant on Main Street in MD. This time however, we went for happy hour on the bar side of the restaurant. Enjoying a sampling of oysters, soup, a sandwich, scallops (which I absolutely loved), a salad and beverages. We wanted a taste of everything! We also had a ton of to go boxes to take most of this home! Our server was friendly and attentive. The ambience in the bar side obviously was a lot more laidback than the dinning side. We enjoyed the energy and the football games on the televisions which was perfect for happy hour and our early dinner.

Many friends recommended this place, and yesterday was my first visit with my family. I ordered the Delmonico--the sauce was a bit salty, but the steak was incredibly flavorful and tender. My husband was very satisfied with his 21 Day Dry Aged Bone-In Ribeye Steak. Side dishes required an additional charge; I enjoyed my Risotto, which balanced out the saltiness of the steak sauce, and the portion was generous. Since there were no kids' meals, my son opted for Bacon-Mac & Cheese and Tuna and Salmon roll. The fish was fresh, though the sushi rice was slightly firm. The environment was comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and professional. It was a great dining experience, and we'll definitely be back.

Three of us met there for lunch today, and it was delicious. Two of us had the Chicken and Waffles: thick, tender waffles topped with beautifully seasoned fried chicken thighs, then doused tableside by Kimberly with house-made maple-jalapeño syrup. Melting butter and scattered pecans added just the right crunch and richness. I also tried the blue corn grits--creamy, savory, and delicious. Our third guest had the Eggs Benedict with collard greens: perfectly poached eggs, silky hollandaise, and greens that were absolutely "grandma good." Drinks included a great sangria and spicy Bloody Marys, and dessert was carrot cake with homemade vanilla ice cream--golden yellow, egg-rich, custardy, and speckled with real vanilla. Great service, casual ambiance, and down-home, chef-cooked food with a touch of grandma's magic. Definitely recommend.

Huge outdoor tents with picnic tables and a sandy floor really set the scene for us. We ordered a bucket of beer and dug in as soon as our trays of crab came out. The AYCE comes with corn & Hush Puppies, which are tasty and not too large, but I personally left behind the extra carbs in favor of more crab pickin'. The kids from a table near loved the sandy floor, occupying themselves building small sandcastles while their parents enjoyed a similar Crab heavy table - so great for families. Yes, you get the sounds of a forest stream in the background, which - let's face it - we all find oh so soothing. It's up there with sitting by the window on a lazy summer afternoon with rain lightly pattering outside. That patter, you know the one. The food is, well, it's creek food. Food that you could envision eating by a creek. That means fried haddock, black and bleu bacon cheese burgers, and the driest looking cheese steak I've ever laid eyes on. Oh, and patty melts. If you can look past the mosquitos, which I suppose you could say is part of the charm, then Snatcher's Creekside is a perfect catch. As an added bonus to everything you've just read, I have just three words: off street parking. This is actually huge since the further you go north on Main Street, the parking gets scarce and private lots charge a buttload. Also, how can you not like their motto? "Hey, we're Snatcher's.
