The decor feels arbitrary and hasn't grown in the 3 years between my visits. The bartop is tiny despite plenty of wide open space in the venue, adding to that empty feeling. But it's the only tiki bar for miles and it has a unique tiki + horror theme that I appreciate: emphasizing creepy mugs, playing vintage Godzilla on the TV, and a collection of drinks named after monsters. They also have custom mugs for sale, which is always awesome to see. My partner enjoyed her Chinese Mai Tai, but my Bride of Frankenstein tasted like light cream. The service was good. They were professional and personable and bantered well with everyone around the bar. There seemed to be plenty of regulars making the rounds in the early afternoon. So if you're in Eugene and want a tiki drink, this is the place to go.

And it goes without saying, a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean. Second night: The staff in the bar area is amazing. Auguste is the best - great suggestions for food, attentive, and so friendly(we remember Auguste from last year). And the food is so good - Chef Tyler is still here - fantastic food (hazelnut crusted coho salmon, scallop & shrimp scampi, cioppino, bay shrimp cocktail with great cocktail sauce , key lime pie, mixed berry cheesecake, and tiramisu - all excellent). Thank you to Auguste and chef Tyler for making our yearly visit to The Adobe special. Final night for dinner at The Adobe: another wonderfully delicious meal with the delightful Heather Marie as our server. Meals that were yummy: spring pea asparagus linguine, grilled rock cod, grilled shrimp, and cioppino, key lime pie, tiramisu, chocolate marquis flourless cake. Heather Marie is so much fun as bartender, and "jack of all" in food serving department(she does it all with a smile). Love The Adobe Staff - they make The Adobe what it is. The Adobe makes for a pleasurable vacation.

The service is also great, the staff that was working when I was there was fast and friendly and they all seemed to enjoy working there. Try everything!

Sea Glass Bistro was fully booked, but somehow they still managed to accommodate us -- and I'll always appreciate that. Being able to sit down for a real meal on Christmas meant a lot. I kept it simple and ordered the cheeseburger, and it was a solid 10/10. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what I wanted. My brother-in-law ordered the Christmas special -- the prime rib -- and wow. It looked incredible and tasted even better. You could tell they really put care into that dish. The ambiance was just right -- dimly lit, cozy, great vibes, and even though it was nighttime, you could still enjoy the ocean view. It felt special without being stuffy. Our server (an older blonde lady -- I wish I remembered her name!) was absolutely amazing. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. On a busy holiday night, she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Sea Glass Bistro really came through for us on Christmas, and that's something we won't forget. Highly recommend.

Clearwater restaurant came highly recommended and now I know why!…read more With beautiful view of the pier and sea and fishing and tour boats passing by, but most of all the sea lions located just in-front of the restaurant. Besides the view the food is exceptionally fresh and delicious, I ordered the New Seafood platter so I could try a lot of different items on the menu. The chilled Dungeness crab was very good and tasty. No need to add anything! The fresh shucked oysters were tasty and fresh and clean. The crab dip was exceptionally good with chucks of crab meat to eat with the fried won ton chips & crackers. The ceviche was okay and also the spicy shrimp salad. The clam chowder was very good and flavorful and it was okay on the thicker side, came out nice and hot not warm. My wife had the Halibut & garlic fries which the French fries were very tasty and crispy and the halibut was great with a lightly breaded batter. Service was great and waiter was friendly Restroom they have 1 on the 1st floor and another one on the 2nd floor to be shared by both men & women. We tried the straberry/watermelon salad to start, and that was absolutely delicious. I had the filet mingon for dinner and that was well prepared. We thought it was great.
