Dungeness crab Benedict w/avocado and GF bread
    Lana P.

Small place, busy place, constant line of 20 people. The food however was worth waiting an hour for (we did take out) my daughters had plain and choco chip pancakes which were bigger than life and they loved them! I had Dungeness crab Benedict with gluten free bread (love that they offer gluten free options) and avocado. Sorry for half devoured picture but it was that good!!!

Cornflake coated crunchy French toast with a side order of bacon cooked to perfection and hashbrowns. Very good and filling.

The food-BOMB DIGGITY! The service-BOMB DIGGITY! The ambiance-Small but mighty. Very busy. Have been several times and return many more! So what....BOMB DIGGITY!

Great place to get food in Florence. They have a pretty big menu with a lot of variety. There is a parking lot and gender neutral restrooms. The vibe is ... chickens! Service was friendly. Please note they only take cash or check.

Everything we had here was amazing. Best breakfast stop in Florence. Staff are super helpful and attentive. You don't want to miss this place just make sure you bring cash!

The blueberry pancake is delicious with fresh blueberries The bacon was cooked perfectly crispy but not overcooked The chicken fried steak was tasty with the hash browns, I have to say that the herb gravy was okay, not my favorite The biscuits are huge and served with butter and honey Service is fast and courteous The payment policy is cash or checks only, they have an ATM on site for cash, it does have a fee of $2.50 Smaller sized restaurant with plenty of seating They have patio seating out front when weather permits Restaurant is well lit with comfortable seating The atmosphere is comfortable with average noise level

Look how thick this chopped elk steak is.

Um.. yeah. All the food looks incredible. It was hard to choose one option for breakfast as I watch incredible dishes head out to other tables. I settled for the elk steak breakfast because I don't see elk on the menu often enough. The food came out quickly and perfectly cooked. This should be a destination place for breakfast. CASH ONLY. They have an ATM.

Food was great, service was great and overall good time. Recommend the beignets. Has the stuffed hash-browns and it was great.

    Lemon Blueberry (special) French Toast

Even for an almost-summer Monday morning, this place was bustling! However, we were seated right away! The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu in addition to to being very friendly! We ordered Avacado Toast & (special) Lemon Blueberry French Toast substituted with bacon. Both were amazing! We're guessing they used a whole avocado on a delicious slice of toast with an egg made to order! The French toast was actually a caky (probably homemade) lemon blueberry bread sliced thick & served with truly homemade lemon curd! It was decadent! Dessert for breakfast!

Shared the Dungeness crab omelette and biscuit and gravy. Great combo!

Great service. Do yourself a favor and ask if the Dungeness crab omelette is available. Super good!!!

Such a lovely spot with amazing food and even better people. We stopped by The Little Brown Hen Cafe and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the kind of service that makes you feel at home. I ordered the avocado toast which was absolutely delicious, and my kids got the waffles, they loved them so much we had to order more. Just a heads-up, they don't accept debit or credit cards, but there's an ATM inside so it's easy to manage. A special thank you to the waitress who served us, she had such a warm and thoughtful way of talking with everyone. I would definitely come back again.

It's a little spot on 101 in Florence with a few tables out front. We waited 40 minutes for our order. We had a order of house made beignets to start-- Cafe Du Monde has serious competition. Piping hot, topped with a mound of powdered sugar, and cream inside! Amazing... Followed by Eggs Benedict with Dungeness crab; it was tasty but could have had more than just a dusting of crab. Cash only. No credit cards.

A group post on Facebook about a breakfast special here that includes fluffy blueberry pancakes…read moredrew me to Florence on a rainy weekend morning. I followed another couple in and overheard another table expressing the regret that they had not spent more time so they could eat here again... not too bad for overheard customers reviews. The table behind me ordered a crab and crusted halibut with a side of linguine that you can order it with Alfredo, marinara, or sausage sauce. Next time. I was here for the breakfast special which includes fluffy pancakes, bacon and eggs and fresh fruit...but on another day I would need to try the brisket Benedict. Chef Mari, the Bulgarian name sake of the kitchen, smokes the brisket in house. Breakfast is served all day; they are only closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. I decided to order a virgin Loaded Bloody Mary (they also have a Bloody Maria which is tequila). Sarah the server was the bartender and knew what she was doing. Bloody Virgin Mary came with steaming hot shrimp and just made bacon. Holy mother of God. Spiced with solid, well-deserved tangy kick...to off set the heat. Absolutely beautiful. The pancakes were incredible and lavishly covered with a rich blueberry compote that was thankfully not too sweet. The bacon was thick but not too thick and just salty in just the best way. Very excited about coming back for the other dishes that I saw being served. That's a good sign. Then Mari came out from the kitchen to say hello to some of us. Wonderful.

The shop has a beautiful river view and also offers really cute boutique-style gift items for purchase, which added to the overall charm. I came here twice a day during my trip, and every afternoon I treated myself to an iced mocha and they honestly have the best iced mocha I've ever had from a coffee shop. To top it all off, they make their own homemade whipped cream, which was amazing. I only had a couple minor issues during my visits. One time, the barista seemed a little distracted and left the espresso shot sitting on top of the milk a bit too long, so it tasted slightly burnt. It was still enjoyable though. Another small thing was that one of the employees who rang me up a few times wasn't especially friendly. Neither issue was enough to dock any stars because overall this place was wonderful.
