Three out of four times when I've ordered pizza only the middle has toppings. Nearly 1/3 of the pizza, an inch at least around the edges is nearly bare. Tonight I ordered extra cheese, which was an additional three dollars. You will observe the photo of what the pizza I received. This is very frustrating and I don't plan to return for quite some time. I was informed at the counter the chili crunch oil was tripled in price from $1 a cup to $3.50; so, the establishment is asking more from it's customers but they're not giving more. We ordered a pizza from Franky's Pizza in Warren, my wife went and picked it up so we could have a nice night in, and we did, we enjoyed a quiet dinner at home. My wife and I shared one pizza, and it was good--fresh, hot, and satisfying. Nothing mind-blowing or out of the ordinary, but sometimes that's exactly what you want: a solid, reliable pizza that hits the spot without any fuss. Franky's isn't trying to reinvent pizza, and that's fine by me. The crust had a nice balance between chewy and crisp, the sauce had a decent flavor, and the toppings were generous enough. When you have a few favorite pizza places on your list and you have to add another. Franky's is your place to add. The pizza is amazing. I can't really pick an all time favorite because I like all of them. The sandwiches are also another favorite. Every time you walk in Franky's they make you feel like you're at home. Always pleasant and they always have pizza cooked and ready if you just want to stop in for lunch. Not many tables to sit at but I love the local spots we have in our area. Franky's is a nice family owned pizza and sandwich shop that opened up a few weeks ago. It's a casual atmosphere. There are two tables inside to sit at, and one outside if the weather is nice. Most people order to take out. They make a really good pizza... the crust is really thick and delicious, and the sauce and toppings are really good. The white pizza has mildly hot peppers on it, very tasty! My wife and I also shared an Italian sandwich, and it had lots of meats and cheese, just the way we like it. I always like to support local businesses, rather than big chain restaurants. I'm really glad we gave the place a try. We'll be back! read more

I visited Frankie's Pizza for the first time last week after noticing the newly renovated building while driving through Warren. I hadn't heard of the place before. It's clear they put a lot of thought into the renovation. The space was clean. There were several employees working, and service was friendly. One staff member offered some menu suggestions, and I decided to try the Caprese sandwich. She mentioned that sandwiches typically take about 10 to 15 minutes since they're made hot which is good to know for future visits. While waiting I ordered a slice of the white pizza with ricotta from the warming trays. It had good flavor and balance. I visited at an off time (around 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon), so the slice had been sitting for a bit so it was hot as warm as I would have like. It still held up and gave a decent first impression of their pizza. The Caprese sandwich was served hot and was generous in size. It could probably be split between two people for lunch if a side was orded. Tasted fresh and I loved the pesto. Frankie's has a solid menu. Staff mentioned that the owners also run a local ice cream shop and barbecue restaurant. It's a nice addition to the Warren food scene, and I'd recommend checking it out if you're in the area and looking for something modern, fresh, and a little different from the usual Italian spots. read more

We decided to try Franky's for takeout and went with the deep dish. It was ready fast, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. The crust had that perfect crunch on the outside and soft middle that makes you want another slice even when you're full. The staff was friendly and made pickup easy. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Definitely adding this to our regular pizza rotation. read more

I was passing through town and saw a place with five star reviews and expected it to be phenomenal. Pretty average pizza, it turns out. We got some slices while we waited for our sandwiches. I like the fresh crust concept but it ended up being mostly bread. The different types of pizza were inventive but execution wasn't really there. The sandwiches were better but only a little better than average. Service was friendly enough for standing behind a counter ordering. Seating was very limited. Probably a great place for locals to get a lunch. Not worth making a special trip or anything. read more

The food is superb. Sandwiches, Pizza, everything. My favorite is the Loaded Baked Potato pizza. Bread made in house, it's the best anywhere. The staff are like a family and treat customers the same. Highly recommend! read more

The sandwiches where 15/10. The best sandwiches I've ever had. The pickup spot is small, like what you'd see in the big city. Pizza was a bit cold, as I don't think the hot plates were doing it justice, but the pizza that was warm was very good! Fair prices, big portions, and GREAT food. read more

The sauce, omg I want more! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, I felt at home! Only downer is there's only 2 tables. I don't want take out having to drive that far. read more
