Wonderful food and ambience. Leo's is well known in the area for it's Italian cuisine and other entrees. However, my wife and I joined another couple here after an evening concert, and we came for glasses of wine and dessert. We were very satisfied on both counts, as Leo's has a nice selection of wines to choose from as well as desserts. Service was excellent!

I happened to be out in Newton Falls for a medical appointment and figured I'd stop somewhere before making the hour drive back to Cleveland Given the proximity to Youngstown, it was hardly a surprise to find a respectable Italian restaurant nearby, so I decided to stop and give it a try. The restaurant itself sits along a road dotted with businesses, but occupies its own lot and is clearly visible from the street. From the moment you step through the main door, an aura of class and elegance was readily apparent - I almost expected to see Lennie Strollo or Eugene "The Animal" Ciasullo occupying a booth... but not this time. The interior was spacious and well-lit, with vaulted ceilings giving way to wooden accents dispersed throughout a vast dining area. If you want to sit at the bar, a wide selection of top-shelf liquor sits behind a granite countertop. I was seated at a booth and given a menu, from I chose the lunch portion of spaghetti marinara with a mixed green salad (mesculin greens with maple balsamic vingarette, grapes, sliced apples, candied pecans, and bleu cheese). The salad was nicely complemented by the bread that was brought out, which included a housemade butter in an herb infused oil base - amazing! The spaghetti was reasonably sized for a lunch portion, and I definitely wasn't hungry when I left. If this place wasn't so far, I can affirmatively state that I would be a regular. Great service, good portions, and reasonable prices, all encapsulated in a classy family run local establishment that serves excellent cuisine! Ciao!

I don't know if this should be a 2 or 3. Leo's used to have good food. My husband & I went and we ordered linguini & clams and eggplant parm. The eggplant parm was inedible and the linguini was meh. My granddaughter got a order of ravioli and it was edible. $75 and we were highly dissatisfied. Bye Leo!

And yes that still describes many other of their competition... because it's what our area knows and loves. Their ambience is classier than a lot of their competition. They have an outdoor shaded patio. A full bar with plenty of seating. Tons of parking in their plaza's lot. And let's not forget their PIZZA BREAD!! I always look forward to that when I come back into town.

Right away the server had a strange attitude. She kept asking if we're ordering an appetizer. My family member asked for soup please. She ignored him. She asked again if were doing appetizers and we mainly said no thanks but my family member asked again if he could please get soup. The server said, "I'm doing appetizers right now". She said it with a very abrupt and rude tone that shut my family member down. Later she came to ask us if we wanted dessert, and I tried to order my dessert but she was distracted and said she'll take my order right now but left and never took my order. After the meal we noticed our bill had a 20% forced gratuity on the bill. I've been a server for over 6 years and 18% on a psrtybofn6 or kore is common but ALWAYS stated on the menu and/or up front at the host stand. There was no such thing here, not a single sign telling us gratuity would be forced on our bill for 6 or more parties. And nowhere did it say they'd increase gratuity with an added 2% We asked the server about the 20% gratuity and she said, "that's automatically on there, i don't have time to do anything about that." There was a small pause as we took in her comments then she said, "I'll be back." And as she left some family members heard her clearly say as she walked away, "I don't have time for this". We know Ohio law says that something like that must be posted to inform people ahead of time. Especially at 20%, that not gratuity anymore, that's a service charge, I mean thats 1/5 of our entire bill. We went to the front to ask about it and the host said it was posted on the menu guy we asked where and no one could find it. Manager came, she said they did not have to tell anyone about the 20% added tip but she'll remove the 20% and we choose decide what we want to tip. Thr server came out and said was everything ok. We made a clear point that the gratuity wasn't as big of issue but it was the servers bad attitude and they way to spoke to us that was not professional or appropriate. The server said she was sat too many tables and didn't have time to deal with things. We said we understand she's busy and working hard but her attitude and rude comments are very unprofessional. The server left the area. I'm so sad that I really liked this place at first and kept recommending it to my visiting family and we all ended up with a terrible experience. I'm embarrassed by Salvatore's tonight. I've literally done this done for 6 years at a very similar restaurant with heavy traffic and posh clients so I know the stress of serving especially when servers are sat too many tables at once, but still, I NEVER gave my customers a bad attitude or said any rude comments. If you can't handle the job maybe try something else as a job. Don't be in the hospitality and serving industry. Maybe one day we'll give them another chance, but that's a big maybe. Until then, we're looking for another Italian restaurant to make our go to restaurant. 1/5

Yes yes YES! This is…read morequite literally the best pizza I have had in my entire life. Who knew it would take this long to finally find that. So cool that they are opening up TWO new locations in Boardman & Kinsman to spread the pizza goodness!! The Detroit Hot Honey Roni is my favorite. This was my first time having Detroit style pizza and it makes me feel like I don't have to travel to truly experience it. The baked cheesy goodness of a crust is phenomenal. Flavors? Out of this world. Cupping pepperoni is simply the best, their sauce doesn't give me heartburn and considering I try to stay away from red sauce that says a lot! OHHHH but their basil is always so fresh and flavorful. I think I could eat a bowl of it! The Detroit Chicken Bacon Ranch is also delicious. Best CBR pizza and I've had a lot of em. No words! The Detroit 8 Mile, same thing. Raving about it! I was thoroughly pleased that you literally get slices of garlic clove on top. The hot peppers ain't too hot & it's just GOOD! Period. Penna Alla Vodka with a fresh baked roll... my Lord! This was on a separate visit, but figured I would include it in this review. (I have been there 3 times within a month, oops) Pasta came out piping hot, flavors were immaculate; sausage, sauce, cheese, basil, OH MY! Just try it. I cannot wait to continually support this business and try new things with each visit!

Restaurant is Beautiful, staff very friendly and tons of parking. One of my dearest friends went with me. They have a great stocked bar and nice outdoor seating for those that prefer that. We started with the Oven Baked Meatballs, plentiful with a nice amount of fresh ricotta, it also came with a huge roll with fresh garlic and spices on it. The Meatballs were delicious. We tried the Plum Salad...the flavors were amazing the Feta was soft and creamy and the dressing was unlike any I have ever had. Best Salad. Small size enough to share. We tried a few Pizzas...took 90% home. First up New York White ...I added Ricotta to it. It was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Second up was Detroit style The Butcher...My friend said it was really yummy, with a great amount of Sausage Meatballs and Bacon. This is the Ultimate choice when those ingredients are your Joy. We got smaller size with 4 huge square pieces. The under carriage of this pizza was pure perfection. Third up was New York Style Pesto, Vodka Sauce and Red Sauce with the perfect blend of Mozzarella, We chose to have them not add the pepperoni. This pizza delivers every flavor imaginable. I'm going to ask them if they can recreate on Detroit crust which is my new favorite. This pizza was tied for my favorite.... Fourth and final the tie for first place pizza.. Detroit Style Greektown ... Between the fresh spinach and the creamy Feta add olives hot peppers and light Mozzarella this pizza was Epic. The under carriage was perfect. The pizza delivered crunch after crunch bite after bite. It doesn't really get better than this. Our waitress was wonderful. We had her bring each pizza out in its box as we really only shared one square of each pizza. I am New York Born and live in Ohio. Truly here There are very few pizza establishments that truly bring it. Red Plum 100% delivers. Quality, Taste and price. Excited they will be in My neighborhood when the new location opens. This is a truly hidden gem. I plan on going back very soon. Hands Down Best of the Best!!!!!

The most flavorful thing we got was the Ajou sauce which I ordered an extra side of it/paid for the up charge and they were extremely rude about it. It was extremely overpriced and nothing was good!
