The decor was really cool and I love the quirky aesthetic so that gets one star The lady that serve me was really nice so I'll give her one star based on her friendliness I ordered a smoothie and it tasted like ice with food coloring...I didn't taste anything ( no mango, no coconut like nada ) I can't remember the exact smoothie I had but zero no flavor. I had the KFC inspired bowl, The mash potatoes are really good. But, overall...very much a meal I could have created at home. The plant based bites tastes like it came from the bags you'll find in the frozen section at Walmart. It tasted as if she just warmed it up and threw corn in the bowl and said " Wa-la !! " I'm a Vegetarian and my tastes bud is rooted in Mississippi...I know good food and this was not it. I could have made this 10 times better. I paid $22 for that smoothie and bowl....with a few crumbs on the tables. I will never visit this place again or recommend it to my Vegan/Vegetarian friends. read more

Me and my wife recently stopped here while we were in the area to visit a vegan establishment and it turns out that this is the only full-fledged exclusive vegan restaurant in the area. The lady that took care of us was very nice for the moment we walked in and she made us felt like we were at home. Price point here, the food here price wise was very affordable! You can't find prices like this anywhere else. I ordered a backbone smoothie and the Smoothie had sea moss in it which is really cool. I even tried one of their burgers which was absolutely delicious and filling up. We even stuck around to stay for dessert and I've never had a vegan pumpkin pie with chocolate chips in it which was a unique experience but it was absolutely great. There are a few tables inside and the wait time can be a bit long. She does exclusive meals for the holidays as long as you put your order in far in advance. Overall, you're not going to find another store like this and I highly recommend you check this out even if you are not vegan but if you want to experiment with being health conscious. read more

So glad I found this place! The food was amazing. My boyfriend and I started off with cauliflower wings. We inhaled them. They were perfectly breaded and air fried. I got the lobster roll with street corn and potatoes. I will be dreaming about that lobster roll until I visit again. How she did that using heart of palm is pure sorcery lol. My boyfriend who is not vegan really enjoyed his BBQ sandwich too. The dessert was top notch. My lemon cake was moist and fluffy, and the lemon flavor was the perfect amount. Delicious as always, so so good, their buns and desserts are gluten free and all their menu items are vegan. The owner is very nice. We go here a lot!! The "chicken" sandwich meal is about $15. The cupcake was $2 and I think the slice of cake was around $6?? Not sure. I was in johnson city on a business trip and as a vegan it is always hard to find good vegan options when I travel so I was super excited to see an all vegan restaurant. maybe my expectations were too high but my dish was a miss. I got the lobster roll with a side of corn and a side of fruit. it's hard to say where this dish actually went wrong but the flavors were just lacking for me. my corn, lobster roll, and orange slices were just all thrown into one container(no dividers). the corn needed more salt and the term "street corn" is very misleading. it's giving canned corn with some paprika. even my smoothie was bland. i'm really sad because I LOVE that this is an all vegan place (and the reason i still give 3 stars) but it was not it for me. read more

We came pretty far off our route to try this 100% plant based resturant. I got the lobster roll, roasted potatoes and kraut. Partner got the BBQ sandwich, cowboy beans and potatoes. Our kids both got the burger, along with rice, fruit, and carrots. Really tasty! Each dish was what it promised, and as others posted, hot sauce is a nice addition- they provide several at the counter. The person helping us was friendly and informative and very sweet with the kids. We were the first of the dinner rush and at the end of eating the place was full. After trying buffalo cauliflower at about 6 different vegan restaurants across the country, I can reliably say that the air-fried version at Frannie's is the best. Since I was getting a huge appetizer, I just ordered 2 sides off of the main menu; cowboy beans (a spicy mix of 3 beans) and brown rice. This made for a simple and balanced meal. Everything was spiced well, but if you're me you still need hot sauce. Frannie herself will likely be there to serve you and answer all of your questions. She also has homemade cupcakes and other desserts. Not the overpoweringly decadent stuff of fancy bakeries, but a more homestyle version of dessert. We are not vegan, not even slightly... but this was so good! I recommend the black bean chorizo starter and literally any of the entrees with the Lime slaw. Each entree we got (Landon's Lobster Roll, Axels Adult Nuggets, and Frannies Banger) were amazing!!! We tried 2 starters (hummus and black bean chorizo dip) and the black bean dip was delicious. After an entire morning of driving through the beautiful TN hills I stumbled upon this great spot. I was looking for something light, got the open tacos with kraut and pasta salad as sides. I'm really sad at how bad it was. I went two weeks after it opened to kinda see if all the kinks had been worked out. I never ate at the food truck but saw all the praise. We ordered the lobster rolls and sides of roasted potatoes, Mexican Street corn, slaw, and beans. We had an app of pretzel bites. The lobster rolls were so salty they were barely edible and the roll was stale. The Street corn was literally corn with Chile powder on it which is kinda an insult to elote. The roasted potatoes were not roasted at all, they were skinless, kinda like boiled potatoes and had no seasoning what so ever. We spent 45 dollars and I left just kinda in shock. There is so many ways to make amazing affordable healthy vegan food and I thought this place might be a good place to start but, I'll just cook at home or go to midcity when I want something diner style. read more

On vacation to Tennessee and finally found a vegan spot! I always want to go to the local vegan places to support them when I'm in town and Frannie's was amazing! Another review said they had the best air fryer cauliflower bites so I had to try those and they were right, Cauliflower has never tasted better!
