Turkey cranberry was very good. Tomato soup was hot and flavorful. Perfect amount for an early lunch. Others in my group got lattes and all loved them. The Spanish croissant was very good. She told us Her father learned his bakery skills in Germany and handed down those skills to his children. She's gave us some recommendations of her pastries and I purchased 1/2 a dozen. I ate a lemon danish and it was delicious. This was the best danish I ever had because it wasn't overly sweet, and it had a soft texture. Carstens is by far the best German Bakery in the State of Utah. The prices were reasonable, customer service was great and their donuts and pastries tasted amazing! I highly recommend stopping at Carstens if you want good quality pastries.

Her smile is contagious and puts me in a great mood. As for the food I usually get the oatmeal. Steel cut oats with walnuts or pecans (I've tried both), brown sugar, and usually strawberries or sometimes banana. I add almond milk to this and it's truly delish! However, today I had the breakfast soufflé with bacon and spinach. It was savory & yummy! Cooked in house with just the right seasonings my tummy was happy. It comes in a paper dish that it's cooked in and stays warm for a long time as I'm a slow eater. Added to this is the ginger orange, no caffeine tea which compliments the soufflé well. The atmosphere is relaxing which makes for a good start to my day. Definitely a repeat treat!

Java Express is a drive through, and does not offer a "sit down" type shop. The drive through is always convenient. Although they did not have the sugar free option for the "Heavenly" latte, that I had last year, that barista (who was friendly, professional, and hospitable) suggested the "Samoa" which was quite tasty and equally as good as the "Heavenly". This shop is definitely worth the visit. Thank you, Java Express!
