Only place open on Sunday! Happening place. Drinks come out fast, meals take a little longer. Typical coffee drinks and sodas for folks. Wifi password: downtown. Plenty of seating, they have a free little library in the back and games to play. Got the chai with almond which is good. Got the swiss cowboy sammy which was a bit dry to be honest but came with chips and was a good price. Good vibes all around.

Legit coffee and a pretty decent size breakfast croissant! The barista was great and helpful and quick to knock out our coffee as we showed up right at opening. The coffe wasn't a burnt bean but a sweet and not to over powering hit that did not look too weak. Food wasn't too shabby and had way more meat than I expected. Great seating and vibe and good music to kick start the morning! Hope to come back if we are in town to nab another great drink!

    Sad cappuccino but delicious coffee

Stopped by for pick me ups on our road trip. We ordered a cappuccino and cold brew iced tea and both were good. The cappuccino foam was quite sad, lots of bubbles and air pockets but the coffee itself was tasty. Cold brew iced tea was a peach and black tea, very refreshing. The only downside for us was the service. We waited a good five minutes before having to seek out two ladies chatting in the back and they continued to pretty openly ignore us to finish their conversation (lol). Drinks came out pretty quickly once they got started. Lots of people with laptops working inside, which was a little dark without a lot of windows. No AC but fans available. Overall an ok stop for the road trip but not great for service.

I found this place on yelp as I was as passing by the town. I came here solely on the yelp reviews. I parked outside there's plenty of street parking. You all in and order your coffee and any food at the counter you get a number and wait. The place is pretty big inside. The bathroom was clean. I ordered a latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese. It took like 15 minutes to get my order. In my opinion that's really long for a basic order. I got my toasted bagel cut in half and cream cheese on the side. I'm not sure why a toasted bagel took so long. My coffee was burnt and butter. I got it to go so I did not taste it till I was in the car and did not want to wait another 15 minutes. I felt like I literally threw my hard earned money away. That is literally the worst feeling and it's a waste of coffee. I only gave it a 2 star because they didn't have a bad attitude and the bathrooms were clean.

Stumbled upon this spot, looked a little divey on the outside which to me is a good sign! Inside--delightful decor, helpful employees, relaxed atmosphere, very good food (I had the Lumberjack, wife had the Business Woman)--as the pics attest we ate them up! Coffee--on point. Clearly locals come and sit and chillax--ding ding this is a gem

Coffee is awesome in this historic building with a great staff. If there is a really old guy in the corner, make sure you ask him about the history on the building and the prohibition whiskey tunnels beneath it.

It's nice to find a spot aside from Starbucks or another corporate-owned place that's open on a Sunday in Idaho Falls.

They offer a solid lineup of regular staples alongside a rotating selection of featured drinks each month--giving you a great reason to keep coming back and see what's new. We tried the Oatmeal Cookie and Honey Lavender lattes, swapping in oat milk to lighten the caloric load. Both delivered a rich, prominent coffee flavor and were pleasantly sweet without going overboard. While both were excellent, the Honey Lavender edged out as my favorite. Every drink can be customized to your liking, and they're happy to fill your own reusable cup if you bring one. Street parking is surprisingly easy to find, even on a Saturday around lunchtime. The only downside is the somewhat limited hours (8:30 AM - 2:30 PM), so plan accordingly if you're passing through later in the day.

We had a lot of questions regarding the lattes, and the barista was kind enough to show us the measurements and ingredients of each latte. There's also gifts inside of here and some tables to sit down and enjoy your drink. Parking was no issue and pretty walkable to the downtown area. Would definitely visit again!

So first you gotta know this; I've always liked going out to eat as my entertainment highlight--and…read moreI'm no spring chicken. So I've had my share of pastries, breads, quiche, etc.. and well, they ain't my favorite. I looove coffee, everything is better with it! (Ok, milk and doughnuts rock too--but my coffee needs to be nearby to keep me in the right head-space.) So anyway, Deborah MADE me go to megpies yesterday. Thankyou Deborah!!!! It's in that cute little diamond in the rough, house/ business building on 1st street, just west of Holmes before Yellowstone. That building has had a history of failed businesses, probably because the parking situation is a little rough--Chapolera Coffee used to be there. So, you might get one of the limited park spots right out front on busy, narrow, first street. You might have to park across the street in the small, but free parking lot (usually plenty of spaces available), and walk across busy first street. You might have to walk up some balustrade stairs, to cross the quaint, and porch swing type nostalgic patio (no porch swing, just a vibe), with patio seating, before getting to the entrance. You might have to sit at one of the few inside tables, and wait your turn to order. But wait!--to leave would be a mistake. Though we didn't get to meet Meg, who I understand is a terrific person, so is the help who was there the day we went. There was three of us, and we'd never been. I was dead set on just getting coffee. But the perfect little displays of croissants and quiche just looked so tempting. The quiche I've had from other places in the past have been small, round, dry, little flavorless bites. But the Spinach Swiss & Bacon Quiche at Megs was sitting right there--rudely screaming at me, EAT ME!! So, as you can see, I had no choice. The croissants on display were Pistachio Cream, and they just looked, flakey, and filthy-- with a light bit of gooey pistachio cream sliced in, and a messy dark choclate drizzle scribbled across the top. So, as you can see, I had to teach this thing some manners. Ok all jokes aside, cuz coffee is serious business! If you can't do that right, everything else has got to be outstanding to bring me back. I don't do coffee drinks, mine is lighly sweetened coffee (preferably dark roast) with a shot of espresso, no creams, no flavors--no disquises. We will be going back to Megs!! The quiche was oustanding, flavorful and moist, without diluting the egg flavor, miraculous! That Pistachio Croissant, well lets just say, it changed me. I'm filthy now too, and lovin it!! The Coffee... Was really good !! I'm a rough customer when it comes to my coffee. I'm not gonna lie, if I were going to combine three different eateries to make my perfect breakfast, Megpies would definitely be one, but I would get my coffee at another local place.. sorry...it was more than good--enough. So, good coffee, good espresso, GREAT FOOD!! CUTE COMFY VIBE!! I would walk farther than just across the street to get here, and, no spring chicken. Thank you for reading, you can thank me after you go here!
