Idaho Falls coffee!! Great coffee shop!!! Loved this place. The ladies up front were so helpful and nice. Very warm and comfy atmosphere. The place you want to come back to again and again. I got the drip coffee, flavor of day, bourbon pecan. Great coffee with just enough flavor but not overpowering. Free refill on the drip coffee was a great bonus. I also got a half sandwich and soup. Turkey cranberry was very good. Tomato soup was hot and flavorful. Perfect amount for an early lunch. Others in my group got lattes and all loved them. The Spanish croissant was very good. Others also got soup and sandwiches and enjoyed. We will be coming back before we leave town after such a great experience. read more

Villa Coffee house is a fun way to enjoy a cup of coffee and a muffin or some such. They have a variety of sweet items. The place is generally quiet and it is easy to read my book without interruption. I usually arrive early enough that street parking is not an issue, but it could be since they are on Park Avenue in downtown Idaho Falls. I would recommend Villa if you want a place to park for a few hours while you read or work on a lap top. read more

Legit coffee and a pretty decent size breakfast croissant! The barista was great and helpful and quick to knock out our coffee as we showed up right at opening. The coffe wasn't a burnt bean but a sweet and not to over powering hit that did not look too weak. Food wasn't too shabby and had way more meat than I expected. Stopped by for pick me ups on our road trip. We ordered a cappuccino and cold brew iced tea and both were good. The cappuccino foam was quite sad, lots of bubbles and air pockets but the coffee itself was tasty. Cold brew iced tea was a peach and black tea, very refreshing. The only downside for us was the service. We waited a good five minutes before having to seek out two ladies chatting in the back and they continued to pretty openly ignore us to finish their conversation (lol). Drinks came out pretty quickly once they got started. Lots of people with laptops working inside, which was a little dark without a lot of windows. No AC but fans available. I went with my safe order, vanilla latte with soy, which they said they didn't have even though it was on the board. My drink was not good. It tasted bitter. My boyfriend's coffee was subpar too. I found this place on yelp as I was as passing by the town. I came here solely on the yelp reviews. I parked outside there's plenty of street parking. You all in and order your coffee and any food at the counter you get a number and wait. The place is pretty big inside. The bathroom was clean. I ordered a latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese. It took like 15 minutes to get my order. In my opinion that's really long for a basic order. I got my toasted bagel cut in half and cream cheese on the side. I'm not sure why a toasted bagel took so long. My coffee was burnt and butter. I got it to go so I did not taste it till I was in the car and did not want to wait another 15 minutes. I felt like I literally threw my hard earned money away. That is literally the worst feeling and it's a waste of coffee. Guest need to be welcomed and helped as soon as they enter. Menu items need to be well displayed as well as good descriptions of coffee offerings. Bought a nitro cold brew cold coffee and wanted some kind of breakfast offering, treat, bagel, toast? some fresh Avacado slices or egg sandwich? How about a donut ? Pastry from Costco, anything! Ham and cheese sandwich? Why am I writing this? I owned and operated a coffee and sandwich shop many years ago. It's hard work to run a morning place. In this shop I witnessed a hard working person who was cranking out drinks with a smile but whoever owns the shop didn't arm her with anything to offer customers. While sipping my sad coffee drink, I watched groups of people come in with smiles and expectations, but their faces quickly changed to confusion and disappointment. Advice to owner, train staff to say hi, and offer customers a special as they enter. (Owner) why aren't you there? First one In, last one out. Fill the front of your place with delicious goodies and at least a sign that says "welcome" create a Menu with your best creations and guide the customer to what you do best. Most popular drink or most profitable item. Just a few ideas. Like I said, this place has so much promise! Why am I not still in the coffee business? It's a hard life if you want to make money. Coffee is one of the most profitable things you can sell per ounce next to illegal stuff. You need to have a passion and you need to be at your place first in, last out. Good Luck. Great downtown coffee shop! The inside has a ton of room and even a conference room for work meetings. Really good prices and a great variety of fun drink options. We stuck with just a hot Americano which was extremely tasty. Also ordered a breakfast burrito, which is a good value. Burrito had eggs, bacon, bell peppers, onion, and salsa in it. Not spicy at all. My only complaints are that our coffee cup leaked pretty badly and the breakfast burrito said it was going to be in a tomato basil wrap, but it was just a regular tortilla. read more

The bagel sandwiches here are AMAZING!!! I had the Strawberry and Almond Bagel Sandwich, my husband had the Lox Bagel Sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. Conveniently located on park avenue in downtown IF. Great selection of different coffee drinks and very affordable breakfast and lunch options. Staff is always friendly. I just have to laugh at our most recent experience because the attitude/demeanour of the barista was something out of a bad sitcom. Apparently asking for a mug is a criminal offense. Appart from the rude attitude, she was just straight up lying to my face as there were mugs behind her on the espresso machine. Before we left I wanted to explain I really wasn't trying to be difficult; I've had allergic reactions to the polymers that line the paper cups, thus my returning it and asking for a mug. My husband stopped me though, he said I shouldn't have to explain a health issue to a complete stranger to get something as basic as a regular mug at a coffee house. When he said it like that I realized he was right. The whole experience was pretty cringe. We've tried Villa a couple times, always hoping it will be better because judging by the reviews it should be great! But unfortunately we haven't been so lucky, and all of our experiences thus far make us hesitant to return. Service has varied from awful to average and food/drinks are just ok. Unfortunately our usual coffee place in IF is closed on Sundays. The search continues. read more

Ok - I really don't understand the reviews for this place. We asked, and they get all of their pastries from Sams or Costco. They use flat, generic beans. The "barista" had no idea how to foam the milk so I had a latte with beer foam that tasted like a slightly flavored cup of Luke warm water. I suppose the inside is eclectic with plenty of seating. I've lived in Idaho Falls for a little over 4 years and I've never been here. A friend and I finally went Saturday morning. I'm very impressed! I ordered a Jack A Latte which was pumpkin, vanilla and toasted marshmallow. It was SO good and smooth. I also ordered a breakfast burrito which was cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and pleasant.The atmosphere was typical of most coffee shops. It was quieter than the one we usually visit on Saturday mornings which was awesome. We had a very nice experience. The ambience is very comfortable & super clean - coffeehouse vibe without being grungy (why is that so often a thing?). Service was pretty slow because there was only 1 person working to handle both coffee & food (we got there shortly after they opened). But she was super friendly & informative. The cutest coffee spot! Found this gem as we were passing through Idaho on our way to Montana. It has a coffee bar area in addition to general seating. The employees were all so friendly and I appreciated their knowledge regarding my gluten allergy. Not only did they have gluten free sweets that I had never tried before, but they also offered gluten free alternatives for most of their warm breakfast items. It's rare I get to enjoy a breakfast sandwich and so it totally made my day! read more

This coffeehouse is probably the best in Idaho falls. It's a wonderful place to sit down at to relax or get some work done. There are great food options and it's in a good little area of town. How are the reviews so good for this place? We knew something was going on when their pastry case had only four sad items. They have a large number of croissant sandwiches so I asked about where they get them from. Answer? Costco or Sam's Club. No thank you. I got a watery nitro coffee and my partner got a watery latte and very sad muffin. We had to ask for a plate for the muffin. We sat down and decided we wanted a better experience so we left the muffin and latte and went down the road. My americano was tasty and the gf actually liked hers as well. That says a lot because she's super picky with her coffee drinks. We got a quiche and I'm pretty sure it was just some scrambled eggs with some cheese and spinach. There was no crust. It also came with fruit, which turned out to be that fruit cocktail out of the can we ate as kids. The girl that helped us was nice, so that helped.
