Doing business with you has been the worst experience. I had the heels replaced on two pairs of designer boots. crappy job and extremely expensive. You must pay in advance. I also asked to have a leather belt sized down. They just cut the end off. Left it that way and poked holes randomly in the belt. I complained and was told nobody does this kind of work anymore. There are only two in Pensacola and I was free to go somewhere else. Also no refunds and everything is the customers fault. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Beware! read more

I paid a significant amount and there was a miscommunication evidently. When I brought boots in, I felt we had a a clear communication of what was going to be repaired, but that was not what was done and I was charged fully. And I don't feel like I got my moneys worth. Also a purse was charged 65 to color it a little darker and I wasn't very happy with the results. The boots are still completely unusable because either they or I didn't understand what they were planning to do. They stretched out a bunion I didn't need to have stretched out so now the boots have a big thing on them and the inside sole wasn't repaired as expected. it wasn't a pleasant experience. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Took a basic pump in to get the heel plugs put in. She said I should protect the sole so than I agreed to the new sole... Said they were behind but gave no time frame. I was in no hurry. She printed me out a receipt for $83. I already noticed the price was steep. I get shoes fixed on the regular. Fast forward to last week. I showed up on a Monday they are not open. Hours were incorrect on Apple Maps. Pic attached and reported.. I call... no answer and I can't even leave a message. It's been over 3 months since I dropped them off. So I drive back again in person Wednesday. She can't find the shoes... I told her if they are not being actively worked on I'd like them back. She tells me they will be ready next wk. I see her walk the shoes to the back. I shit you not I get a call the next day they are ready hahaha I've now drive for the third time in a wk a half to get these shoes. Now I've got a man helping me. He finds my shoes and I walk out. As I'm about to drive off this woman comes to my window and says I have not paid... wtf!! I've got a receipt. She asks me to get cash out at the atm next door or write a check. Bc of Covid they don't take cards... honey everyone takes cards. She took my shoes from me and said I can have them back when I pay and that's now why I use Franzone. Beware this place reeks of cigarettes smoke which damaged my satin pumps. Stay away from this place!!! read more

I live out in Colorado. I owned a pair of floral heels that I loved in a size 8. One of the heels broke. I went online and could only find the same pair on posh mark but it was a size too big (size 9). I bought them anyway (hoping I could add insoles/padding to help them fit). Needless to say that didn't work. My mom was a regular at this repair shop. She said she would taking them in to see if they could swap the heel part out of the new pair (size 9) to the old pair (size 8) that fit. The man there said that they could do it. He measured the heels before hand and said he was excited to do something like this. He "fixed" the heels and my mom brought them out on her next visit. Only to discover that he had taken the heel off of the size 9 and then reput it back on the size 9 again. And he told her when she picked them up that he had ruined the "extra" shoe in fixing them. She didn't realize that she had received one size 8 shoe and one size 9 until I tried them on. So he basically ruined and trashed the shoe he was supposed to fix! On top of that, the craftsmanship was awful. The connection from the shoe to the heel was scratched and scuffed and the inside of the sole where your heel sits had no padding left and you could see and feel the square of the heel under your foot When she got back to Florida from her trip she went to him to try to get a refund (because I now have a not pair of shoes that I can't wear). He then proceeded to yell at her and tell her she gave him the wrong sizes and he did exactly what she asked and it was her fault and you can't even swap heels of different sizes like that. No refund no apology! Pure vileness! He tried to shame her for his mistake! Do NOT go here ever! He basically stole her money for a service he didn't provide! Watch out for these scammers and take your business elsewhere. My mother will never go there again, that's for sure! read more

UPDATE: Originally, I took my right boot to get repaired and they told me I would need both stitched and glued -no big deal. After wearing my boots ONCE to work (at an office in California) the left boot fell apart. You can see that they stitched half of the sole (which is fine) but did nothing to the other part of the shoe. At every other shoe repair place I've taken my shoes to, they always undo and re glue BOTH shoes. Even though they weren't professional in their customer service, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I regret it. It's obvious that they just don't care about some people. I even asked the lady if she knew how long they would last. She responded with, "longer than the manufacturer, that's for sure!" What a lie. It was just a waste of my time and money. Original Post: From start to finish, these people were rude to my partner and I. The older woman that "helped" us has a very condescending tone and acted offended by every question we asked (like 3 overall). I think that she didn't care about our business because we are out of towners. At least she called us when the shoes were ready. I'll update on how the shoes wear after I wear them. Left these unique designer sandals at shop for months to repair the sole that came off. Had to call several times to get them shipped to me since I moved during the time they had them for repair. They obviously didn't take a picture of the sandal before taking it apart. The loops on side of sandal that sash goes thru to secure it to the foot are gone and the shoes cannot be worn. Also insole is coming loose and sole doesn't completely fit the bottom. Paid just shy of $100 (up front) for repair, including shipping. Would like a refund. read more

The woman that runs this place is absolutely FERAL!!!! I arrived to check on the status of my shoes as they had been there for a week. I was nearby and curious of how close they were to being finished in order to avoid purchasing another pair of shoes to wear to my event. It was fine if they weren't just wanted to inquire. When I asked about my shoes, she was very nasty to me and said they aren't ready yet. I said I understand and that I just wanted an update because I needed them for a function and it was fine that they weren't ready. She had no idea where my shoes were in the shop at all. She looked all over and said they could be anywhere. I look down to find my shoes scuffed up on the floor under other boots. She said she had been using them to show other people what they do to fix heels!!! What!? When I asked her why she was treating a customer this way....she was disgusting and snatched my ticket out of my hand and told me not to come back. Had the zipper/snaps of an overnight bag repaired. Better than new and much more sturdy!

I brought my special wooden and leather clogs in to be repaired and the woman complimented them profusely and even brought one of the cobblers up front to admire the excellent craftsmanship. I picked them up after one week and wore them for less than 20 minutes before the repair failed (some nails they replaced connecting the leather with the wooden base. My husband brought them back to be fixed again and attempted multiple times to pick them up but they did not respond. I have been attempting to call these people to get them to give me my shoes back for months as I now live out of state. Way overpriced. The lady at the front desk doesn't listen to what you want AT ALL and then huffs and insults you when you need it redone. The sewing seems to be of decent quality but it doesn't matter if it isn't done the way that is needed. read more

Pretty disappointed with both customer service and repair work. I took a pair of brown all leather heels in that I bought to utilize for my Military uniform to get a black rubber bottom put on and to get shined. I was told 5-7 weeks. I called a few times and was told they weren't done yet. Went in person around 9 weeks and was told absolutely we'll get these done. 10 weeks in I was called to pick them up and they had a brown bottom put in with smeared on shine? Definitely not shine, they said it was some sort of conditioner and they smeared it a bit more so it wasnt noticeably streaked. It's sticky. The rubber was cracked and not fit correctly on to the shoe. When I told her the color was wrong she said "well sometimes things get missed when we're rushed". I let it go and said I would like to get the black bottoms that I paid for. I almost laughed when she rolled her eyes. 2 weeks later they called back and said they were done. I went to pick them up and they were black. The bottoms were again cracked and didn't fit correctly. Gaps in the rubber and the shoe. They look terrible. She asked me if anything was wrong and I asked if we could cut off this random piece that was sticking out. Well he did. It's super crooked now... I really can't believe that she thinks these are ok. I didnt trust them to fix it a 3rd time and I really didnt want to start yelling or laughing or crying. I spent $123 for them to ruin my shoes twice. Will be taking them to another repair place to see if they can salvage the shoes. Waste of freaking money and so much time. To make matters worse these shoes were new and the dye/shine? they put on has stained the inside of the shoe and it's sticky. read more

I waited six weeks until I called and the lady seemed weirdly hostile over the phone stating that "they're the ones who call" said she would call me back and ended it at that. Didn't hear from her for a week so I decided to go into the shop and didn't fair any better. Told me they didn't have the shoes ready so I just said keep the money and give me my shoes back so I can take them to a shop with reasonable customer service. My shoes were magically already finished so it was obvious they just didn't want to bother looking. All around weird vibes from both of them. Also there's a fine print disclaimer on the back of the ticket they give you that states any shoes left there for more then thirty days is no longer their responsibility. Which leads me to think that they take so long so they can just fix the shoes and sell them just to tell the original owner tough shit. All around sketchy little shop read more

We've all been there. Your 'go to' shoes are on their last leg and if they ever want to see the light of pavement again, they require immediate attention. I put my fav pair of wedge sandals in the hands of the boys at Simoneaux and am very pleased with the service. Walk in, hand them over, 'can you save them doc?', 'yes', 12 bucks to fix the elastic thingamagigs on both straps, 3 days later, voila. Good as new. Doesn't get much easier than that. read more

I've used this place quite a few times in the past. They are very reasonably priced and do good work... There is a competitor not far away just off Davis Hwy whose prices are much higher I think... As of the date I write this there are two negative reviews that I believe to be very unfair. One rated them low, because they did not answer the phone. This place fixes shoes! They are not a Call Center! Take your shoes in and get a quote! Next bad review was from somebody that seemed like they wanted something for nothing... I took 4 pairs of shoes in to have wedge heels replaced. I was charged $120 upfront. I was told the shoes will be ready in 2 to 3 weeks. Since their phone is never operating, I drove over there at the five week mark to see the status of my shoes. They hadn't even been started yet. I was disappointed and the woman asked if I wanted a refund. I said I was going to call around and see if other shoe repair stores could get them done sooner and I would be back if I wanted a refund. I returned the next day for a refund. I was refunded my money however, not in full. I was told it was a restocking fee. What? I was the one doing the restocking not them! When I questioned this, I was told they don't give refunds. Then why did the lady offer me one?? Front desk woman was very rude and I will not go back. In the meantime I took my shoes to another place where they charged me $72 for the same work and had them back to me in 2.5 weeks. read more

I got a message telling to leave a message, and they "might" call me back. At the end of that message, I was advised that their mail box was full and the system promptly disconnected me. that's all I needed to know about how they conduct business. Talk about local friendly and expert service...this is the place. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the owners take pride in their work. I brought in a pair of shoes that literally came apart. As I was climbing the stairs to the choir loft in church, the soles separated from the uppers. Aside from the laughs over needing to find someone to save my sole (pun intended), they did a great job in a very reasonable time. What I especially appreciated was that they gave me options: they could re-glue the original sole, or replace it with a higher quality sole. The shoes looked good as new when I picked them up. My husband had a pair of dress shoes that are his favorites for the last 7 years but the soles of course were just worn out. He tried to find a similar pair to buy but 7 years later they are not available. He took them here and they are completely redone. The old soles were removed and new ones were sown in. These guys are lifesavers! I ordered some boots from the UK, and when they arrived, they were obviously poorly made. One calf circumference was significantly smaller than the other, so I had one boot that fit, and one that didn't. I had a week to find a solution (exchanging a product from the UK takes far longer), so I took them to Simoneaux the next day. They fixed the boot in 5 days! Very displeased with the service received on 12.2.2013. I asked if they could fix a shoe they said they could glue it..but did not want to do it... next thing I know they took the shoe..when all I asked was how much does the glue cost? Then they glued it without even telling me....then charged me for it. Being a person of moral values...I paid it and told them they just lost out...I will no longer being doing business with them... Took some boots in that needed new leather on the heel. They did a great job making it match. They repaired a leather bag whee the snap had torn. Semi happy the results--the home repair that had been done impaired their repair options. These repairs took. Three weeks however it was during the holiday season and the owner took the time to explain this. Took a second pair of boots in and just waited 10 min as it was a heal tip repair. I had several pairs of shoes repair there in December. When I got them home, two pairs had issues. I brought them back and the people were very friendly about correcting the issues. Normally, this would not be an issue. However, they have had the shoes now for over a month (not including the three weeks they had them for the original repair). Repeated messages as to when they will be ready have gone unanswered. *Update- My husband went out there yesterday to try and get our shoes.
