The Rush Hour menu is a phenomenal deal and a great way to try several things on the menu! We loved the octopus, gnocchi, and Bolognese. The beef carpacchio we found pretty bland, and both the steak tips and the short ribs had great texture but were really sweet, which we didn't love. The tiramisu was pretty good too. I wouldn't come back outside of Monday nights because the normal prices are quite steep, but this menu is pretty great. Come hungry! read more

We came to celebrate my birthday and had a delicious meal starting with their bread and dipping oil and the meatballs with homemade ricotta. The bread is good along with the dipping spread it comes with, we just wish the bread was warm. The meatballs and homemade ricotta were delicious, you have to dip your bread in the sauce. For the rest of our meal, we had the ravioli caprese and filet mignon with double mashed potatoes and popover. The ravioli is a classic and can't go wrong ordering it. The steak was cooked to perfection, just melts in your mouth along with the mashed potatoes. They were booked up for a Friday night, I would definitely suggest making a reservation for the weekend. As for the service, we were left waiting for a while before a server noticed us. She did not share any specials with us and seemed to rush us a bit. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We went for the Rush Hour menu specifically because the online menu clearly listed a choice of pasta plus a choice of main. After we sat down, we were told they had "updated" the menu and removed the pasta option -- even though it was still advertised online. That felt misleading and honestly like a bait-and-switch. The food itself was disappointing. We ordered the Caprese, calamari, steak tips, and short ribs -- none of it stood out, small portion and overall the quality just wasn't there. On top of that, the service made the experience worse. We felt rushed the entire time, and the waiter repeatedly cut us off while we were trying to ask questions. It didn't feel welcoming or professional. For comparison, Seamark completely outperforms this place in terms of food quality for the same price happy hour menu. Definitely won't be coming back. I had the chance to visit Fratelli while staying at Encore Boston Harbor. Glad I snagged a reservation since it was SO busy - and sadly that resulted in slow service (but it was the holidays so understandable). I started off with the Luna cocktail which gave the vibe of a creamsicle + tequila (a bit too sweet for me). The pink grigio + caesar salad for the appetizer was actually superb, and I do call myself a caesar salad connoisseur. The caesar salad made my top 3 list of salads for 2024!! My entree was solid but didn't stand out to me flavor wise. I got the pasta & meatballs. The meatballs were a bit too dense for my liking, but the sauce was great. I ordered the rack of lamb (4 pieces) I can't complain they came out medium well how I asked, they were also very meaty so I cant complain about the price. Located in Encore Casino, Fratelli emits luxurious flair. The dining area is nice, and the staff are friendly professionals at what they do. For food, we ordered two appetizers and one pasta dish. We shared this amongst 3 people, since the food was a bit pricey. Together we paid about $84 without tip, so that comes out to about $35 per person. The taste was good, but wish we ordered some extra veggies. The portions are decently sized, so we were mostly full afterwards. It was nice to get a reservation the same night on a Thursday. Atmosphere wasn't too loud which was unexpected considering they have quite a few tables. The seared tuna, while it was good, didn't have ANY truffle flavor at all, but was otherwise tasty. The osso bucco was very tasty, risotto was on point with saffron and the veal came right off the bone. The short rib came apart, but I was a bit disappointed by the polenta and that the sauce seemed a little too sweet. Almost tasted like a BBQ sauce. Really enjoyed the experience at this restaurant located inside the Encore Casino in Boston. The service was 10/10, the ambiance was 8/10 and the food was 9/10. I loved the starters and the drinks for sure. I think when it came to our main dishes, there were some mistakes that I wasn't expecting from a place like this. The steak I ordered medium rare and came out almost well done, the lobster in the lobster pasta was undercooked and almost raw in some parts, and the wait time on the food was pretty long. I do think it's a great place and just unfortunate we got a couple things wrong, most of the food was great. I'd give it another chance the next time I'm in the area. read more

Then get the wrong pasta. Rules have to be said at the beginning. I was set on a steak. Server didn't ask how the food was not one time. Didn't check on how it was going. Didn't ask if I wanted another drink. If you don't want guest after 1045 just say that. Didn't ask if I wanted another drink until last call. The short ribs were tasty but not warm, the caccio e Pepe, which is not on the menu, but is a special they always have and is mixed in a cheese wheel, was mediocre and also cold. We actually had this one remade because we thought they gave us old pasta. The second time we saw the noodles steaming and after mixing, it was still cold. I think the sauce they added must have been cold. Gnocchi was fair and cold. Broccoli rabe was inedible--super bitter and oily. For apps we had meatballs (fair minus) and octopus (good). All in all, not a good experience and we won't be back. After sending back multiple items and commenting about temperature issues with others, we never heard from the manager and did not receive any sort of apology. read more

Fantastic service! The sea bass is out of this world. So soft and melt in your mouth. The restaurant is always packed located in the back of the casino. I never make reservations both times I was visiting but they have first come first served area by the bar. My husband enjoys rib eye and I like fish I tried the branzino and the sea bass. The branzino is okay not much of flavor but the sea bass was amazing! Would come back just for it. The popovers that come with the steak is buttery and so good. Service is fast and excellent. I've been here several times and always love the ambiance. The first time was to celebrate a friend's birthday. We order apps and mains to share. My favorite was the sautéed mussels and clams. The calamari & grotto misto was delicious, but I thought the portion size was disappointing. I thought their special-of-the-day paella and pastas were so good. The deconstructed tiramisu was put together table side which I thought was super cool. I wouldn't say it's my fave but the presentation factor was excellent. They make one of the best mojito mocktails. The second time I came was for date night. We were seated closer towards the back with a more intimate vibe which I loved. We got the mussels again and it was just as delish as the first time. Hubby ordered the Chilean Sea Bass in Agrodolce. He loved it but I it was a little too sweet for my preference. I ordered the the special of the day paella again because I loved it last time. The portion was huge and the flavor was good but it didn't arrive as hot as the other dishes do midway through it, it had cooled down significantly. One (small) downside is that the bathroom is located outside the restaurant where you have to exit the casino area. I know it's not far but it doesn't feel convenient. read more

We were recently visiting the Encore to view the holiday foliage display and to do a bit of gaming. Be aware, all patrons must be 21+ to dine here. Everyone is asked for their ID to get into the casino. There are no exceptions, this is state law. Fratelli is located inside of the Encore Casino near the Sportsbook. It is an upscale, casual Italian spot known for charcuterie, raw bar, seafood appetizers/entrees, fresh pastas, meatballs, short ribs, fresh fish, brick-oven chicken, veal, and branzino. You'll also find prime beef and chops that are cooked in their brick-oven. The meats are a la carte, sides are extra. However, the sides are large enough for two to share. I highly recommend the Baby Brussels Sprouts. You'll find filet mignon, New York Strips, Ribeyes, Tomahawks, Veal Chops, & Rack of Lamb. We had two people in our party and stopped by without a reservation at around 8PM on a Tuesday. The casino was fairly busy, however they were able to seat us promptly. The decor and design is upscale and modern, without overdoing it. We decided to start off with some appetizers. We ordered the Dry Aged Beef Carpaccio. It is served with Arugula, Shaved Parmigiana, & Truffle Essence. The presentation was spectacular and the carpaccio was paper thin. It was so thin, it was nearly impossible to get off the plate. We just were not a big fan of it, it just had a very off taste. It may have been the dry-aged beef or the truffle essence. Next, we ordered the Caprese con Mozzarella di Bufala. Fresh, juicy orange and red vine-ripe tomatoes served with incredibly rich mozzarella and finished with basil pesto. The tomatoes were juicy and the mozzarella was very rich and creamy. It practically melted in your mouth. We also had some of the complimentary bread and olives with our appetizer. The bread is more of a rustic-style type bread. It is served with EVOO, Roasted Garlic, & Marinated Olives. The bread was certainly old and stale, it was quite a challenge to just break a piece off. Olives were phenomenal. Lastly, we decided to split the "Maori". It is fresh angel hair, Pomodoro sauce, shaved parmigiana, and it is served with two of Mom's meatballs. The server topped it off with grated cheese upon request. The pasta was cooked perfectly and they gladly split the entree perfectly between two plates. We asked for light sauce. It's debatable if that was followed, as it was still very heavy on the sauce. The sauce was well balanced, not acidic. The pasta was cooked perfectly, not overcooked and not undercooked. Service was very on point with taking your order and getting the food out quickly. They had our appetizers out within 5-minutes of ordering. We are slow eaters and like to savor the flavor when we are spending money. I'd highly recommend spacing out your meal so everything doesn't come out at one time. We also found out after paying the check that they offered a full raw-bar with oysters, crab, lobster, clams, and more. We were never given the small, paper menu by the host or our server. I won't lie, that really bummed us out. The food and service is certainly good, but could definitely be improved. They seemed more concerned about turning the table quickly over delivering a five-star experience. The prices demand a better experience. If you're expecting North-End quality Italian- you'll be disappointed. It is certainly a good pick if you're at the Encore. However, I wouldn't go out of my way for it or pay the inflated prices that are asked on the menu. They're more expensive than some of the nicest Italian spots in the North End. Lastly, if you come here on a Friday or Saturday and get hungry they do offer a late-night menu from 12-2AM. You'll find brick-oven pizzas and calzones. read more

Absolutely amazing! This was one of the best pastas I've ever had. I've had their Chilean sea bass before and liked it but this is my new favorite! This place is can get pricey but can be worth it if you order the right dishes. The wine sauce was flavorful and they loaded it with clams. The portion was generous.
